Willamette provides dental care and provides your insurance for it. Insurance which can only be used at Willamette dental. Fine no big deal. However they refuse to cover more than one cleaning per year because they are the ones fronting the bill for each visit. 99% of dentists have adults come in twice a year, which is the the ADA recommendation. Not to mention they were inhospitable and their dental care was rushed. Definitely dont waste your money here. Any other insurance is going to be cheaper, allow you to visit any dentist, and have better/more routine coverage.

This office will wait for a cavity to completely destroy half of your tooth before they are willing to do anything about it. Or for emergency work when a tooth breaks due to failure to fix a ca it’s when small will just grind the tooth down instead of fixing it causing further problems.

Was brought here as a teen for orthodontic care. I had braces on from 2005-2011 (6 YEARS), mind you my teeth were definitely not in need of being in braces for that long as my original time quote was 2 years. During that time I had at least 3 different orthodontists, which I would attribute as the reason to the long stay in braces. Pretty sad that an office can’t hold on to the same orthodontist long enough to get a patient out of braces. Each new orthodontist basically started me over in my journey as they each had a different plan in mind it seems, because each orthodontist gives their “signature smile look.”The only reason we came here was the dental insurance at the time. Wish we could go back in time and avoid this office altogether such a joke.

My entire experience with the Willamette Dental Group in IF was a positive one. The staff was helpful and friendly and answered all my questions. I am glad I went with them for my dental needs.

I had a fantastic experience at my first exam/cleaning at Willamette in September, 2020. In fact, my wife and kids (4 younger ones) all went and had a pleasant experience, as well!Front desk, billing, hygienist, techs, and dentist were all exceptional and answered my every question. Place was super clean. Exam room and x-ray room were kind of cramped, but nothing unmanageable. Luckily, the people were really nice, so no issues when we bumped elbows getting around each other 🤓.I genuinely appreciated their patience working with one of my daughters who struggled with the whole experience. She came home confident and encouraged... She also no longer hates the dentist, thanks to Willamette!Fantastic work, and thanks again for the extra touch of genuine concern for my daughter!

I spent 2 hours in their office without a complaint. The dentist had to cut my gums to get a root tip out and suture them back one one of the 4 teeth. I was told I would get something for pain...After going home I was in a lot of pain and my wife went to pick up my rx. It didn’t get called in... Ok, so she contacts them and they call it in. The following day I call Walgreens to check on the status because I’m obviously in a lot of pain. No RX....So I call the office to try to get it again and am told that ibuprofen is all they can prescribe...You cut my gums open and pulled teeth!This dentist office is not patient oriented whatsoever. No conversations were had about what issues or problems I was having related to the tooth. Or my high blood pressure/anxiety.To worry about narcotics abuse is understandable, to let your patients be sleepless in agony is unacceptable.No need to bother with “I’m sorry for you’re experience and please contract us”That is not a remedy for your poor patient care, the truth of the matter is you do not care for you’re patients and other patients need to hold you accountable for your actions.

Im extreamly impressed by the whole staff all the equipment is well up to date and you know your getting the best care. Everyone was so kind and friendly. They where honest and showed me all my x-rays explained to me exactly what needed to be fixed! Im very impressed 😁

This dental office is the worst!!!! They refuse to do cleanings twice per year. Even though I have periodontitis diagnosed by them. The doctor said he wanted to see one of my teeth in 6 months for potential cavity but the receptioniat refused to schedule an appointment. Shame on you!!!!

I went here in about 2016 because they were the only option given by my work. At my first appointment they cleaned my teeth. The hygienist kept making rude comments to the other staff and to me while they were doing the work. She said to me, Do people tell you your breath smells bad, because there are a lot of problems with your mouth and teeth. I felt so embarrassed that I didnt go back. Of course on my way out they had a special electric toothbrush, electric water pick, special mouthwash, etc. that could solve my problems with my mouth. They totaled it up and everything they recommended would have cost around $500. In my opinion, and based on my experience, this is a corrupt office that shouldnt be in business. I highly recommend finding another dental office.

They were great! Had a severe toothache and they got me right in that day and extracted the tooth quickly! The staff was very nice and the procedure took minimal time. They walked me thru the whole process so i knew what to expect. I recommend them to anyone who needs dental work!

This is a Five Star Office with a One Star Call Center.The Idaho Falls Willamette Office is great. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The DDS had been great with myself and my kids.The Willamette Call Center is atrocious. To make an appointment I have to call them, sit on hold, then ask for an appointment. The call center will then tell me that I am, not due yet, even though Ive received emails reminding me to make an appointment. Im due for my check up in two weeks, call back then. After some cajoling the Call Center will connect me to the IF Office.The Office Staff are great! I have no problem making an appointment for....two weeks from now.Now, if the Call Center had been this troublesome just once, Id let it go. Everyone has bad days. Its fairly regular that have to do this run around dance to get an appointment. Ive been with Willamete for ten years and the Call Center is just getting worse.

The nurses and physicians at the Idaho Falls office are fantastic. They were all courteous, engaging and took the time to fully discuss the issues I had to deal with and answered all of my questions. They worked through complications with minimal fuss and I didnt leave in pain. They also worked with me to accommodate my schedule, not theirs.

This is quite possibly the worst dentist I have ever been to. I’ve had a cavity for a few months (discovered at my last cleaning) and today I went in to get it filled because it’s been causing me a lot of trouble and pain and after waiting an hour to even be seen I was told it’s “too small to fill” and to continue brushing and flossing and it will be fine. I went in today needing a filling so I can eat on the left side of my mouth again and left with nothing. I would definitely not recommend this dental group.

Had a painful upper tooth. They got me 2 hours after I called and Dr. Chambers got the pain under control within a few minutes and took great care of me at a fair price. Love this office.

I would give 5 stars to the awesome orthodontist Willamette contracts with but other than that my experience with Willamette has been frustrating. I physically pay the visit co-pays in office every time myself or a family member has a visit but somehow am always billed for co-pays they say I have not paid. The statements are very confusing and when I call their explanations are not any easier to understand. I end up paying the balances out of frustration.My son needed a crown. We had the visit for the fitting and when the crown came in it didnt fit. They numbed him up and tried to get the crown to fit with no success. We had to order a new crown. The new crown came in and they put it in and we were charged another co-pay for a visit we shouldnt have had to have (I live out of town too). Then, a month later, his crown comes off. We had to make another trip to have it put back on.This co-pay business is very frustrating for me. I will be switching to another insurance provider as soon as open enrollment comes around again.

It never fails everytime I go to the dentist I leave disappointed and my mouth hurting worse then I arrived with more sensitivity or something.NOT these guys! They did not drilling or unnecessary work, with me nor ANY of my family of 5!!!I honestly think it’s due to the insurance company opening this.The Dentist gets to work with no effect on pay, and they dint want to do any unnecessary work.It’s a very “safe” place.The Debtist and staff here ALWAYS make me feel very very comfortable!You won’t be disappointed😇
