This place is abusive to animals! I read the review Rachel posted regarding their abuse to a Husky on 8/4/21 I pray that was not my sweet girl Aspen and am sick to my stomach at how they treat animals. Last Thursday our girls went for daycare and a bath our beautiful Aspen (Husky) was wet and completed matted when we picked her up Mark is only concerned about damage control and is the most dishonest person I have ever encountered. He said we followed protocol she must have come in like that he wasn’t even there. He also lied to my husband about his role in the business. Bradley is clueless and the two can’t keep their stories straight about what they did to our dog. After her appointment at the vet today to protect her skin she will need to be shaved something you never do to a Husky. We are devastated for our beautiful girl but don’t want her in pain as these can continue to get worse, her entire cost is matted. They claim to have protocol in place but that was obviously not followed as our dog was wet and matted all over under her fur. This is the worst place to take you furbabies! We had an amazing pet daycare back home but I would not recommend this to anyone and actual pray no other dogs are injured or abused. I hope they are shut down. After reading some other experiences of their abuse and injuries to other dogs that have gone there I’m so upset I ever trusted them with my girls. Camp Bow Wow Colleyville is AWFUL!!!!

I have taken my dog, Rufus, to 2 other local doggy daycares once each to kinda test before I pick a regular place to go to socialize and get some exercise. All places were efficient enough. But, Camp Bow Wow has been the best so far. Staff seems to be dog lovers and are very friendly and helpful. They seem to be more hands on with him. Plus, they have connected indoor and outdoor play rooms that they can go in and out as they please. Added bonus....you can watch your dog on web cam anytime of day. Gonna take him a couple more times to make sure, but I am pretty happy with Camp Bow Wow.

Had wonderful experience until today. I asked to see the video to understand why they said my dog could not come back. at first I was told I.could view the video on premise and upon arrival he told me it was not going to happen. When I asked to try to understand what transpired to make my dog aggressive I was never given an explanation nor was I able to understand if they used more than verbal commands. Having been in multiple daycare situations and not having anything happen like this, we are perplexed. When I asked to speak to the owner I was also told that would not happen and we were not welcome back. Its one thing to say that your dog has an issue and quite another to not be able to explain it. Perhaps the staff needs training? Not sure they are comfortable managing a high number of dogs at one time. Would love to hear from the owner as this was a great place for daycare. Sorry to have to post this negative response. Wish it were handled more professionally.

I love this location. My pup is high anxiety and they are always accommodating for him. I adore getting him groomed here. As a n Akita mixed with 2 other double coated breeds, grooming gets expensive. I have never had a bad grooming experience and my pup always comes out looking great! Honestly, they do a better job grooming my pup than the other groomers Ive been to. They make sure to throughly brush him and get all the undercoat they can. Highly suggest them and tell the Valerie and Mousse sent you!

I took my dog Shadow here for a few months. It was really good for him. Everytime I took him he would come home worn out. So, in that regard I give it a 5 star, however, their packages are very confusing and if you bring your dog before paying for a package or scheduling an appointment to bring him they will charge you $36 without telling you and then expect you to pay it. I went through this with the manager and he never made it clear to me how it works there. What else bothers me is they dont feed your dog lunch, which I find silly. Plus you have to bring your own collar, which Ive never heard of before. So, if you can deal with the no lunch, collar thing, and confusing pricing I encourage you to come here. Thanks.

THEY REFUSED TO RETURN MY BOYS.I was looking for a new place for my boys. I have two high energy dogs that are still getting acclimated to apartment life. One is my registered support dog and the other we got for his companion. I took them in for a day stay on a Saturday, specifically calling to ask if they were busy because Mister (my support dog) has had reservations about going when their usual place is overcrowded. I was told that they would have to be interviewed again seeing as it had been over a year since they had been in. I leave and go back to the house and open up their doggie cams. I wasn’t fond of what I saw. It’s not like they were being beat or anything but the place was crowded and I watched as two dogs fixated on Mister, wouldn’t leave him alone, and the attendant was too busy on her phone. I decided that wasn’t the place for me and went to go pick them up. They had been there and hour. The guy behind the desk told me it would be $75. Two dogs full day. Um I’m sorry no. They were there for a interview, im not paying a full day. HE REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY DOGS UNTIL I PAID! I told him several times I wasn’t happy, they were there only an hour, and demanded my animals. He still refused and told me I would not get my dogs until I paid full price period. He was very fortunate that I kept my cool, stepped out side, AND CALLED THE POLICE TO GET MY ANIMALS. This place is a disgrace, they could care less about what they do, and what that guy tried to do was completely illegal!

I absolutely love this place! The facility is always very clean. My dog LOVES the managers and the staff and they treat her so well. I have a very high energy dog and the time she spends at Camp Bow Wow has done amazing things for her. Thank you for treating my girl so well!!

Im a crazy dog mom and I love my 3 daughters with all my heart.. I get anxiety when Im not around them for a long time... I was very nervous leaving them for the first time.. but it went great every time I thought about them I would look at what they doing online and they were playing and look so happy it made me feel so much better... this camp is great with great customer service and really good prices.. I would be a customer for life...thanks!

I’ve used numerous camp bow wows across the country and have never had this happen.We were bringing our dogs after not being socialized much after the past year. One has been in daycares her entire life and the other has never been socialized nor put in daycare.When you go to camp bow wow, they are supposed to have a day that they are essentially trialing the dogs. It’s supposed to be free—its part of their corporate policy that they do this as you cannot just admit dogs without knowing their behavior.After going in, my dogs were extremely nervous and I realized I did not feel comfortable leaving them there. The owner had told me over the phone that we would be buying a package of three nights as it’s the cheapest. I told him when we got there that I didn’t think we would need the three day and that I would pay for this one day as I felt bad for reserving, despite all of my other experiences with camp bow wow in which you get a free day.The owner would not let up. He said it’s policy that they charge for three days. I believe he said this because he knows it is against corporate policy to charge anything for the first day, so he tries to get around it by making you pay for three up front and then acts like he’s doing you a favor by providing you with one free.But that is not how it’s supposed to be! You cannot admit dogs into daycare without first making sure they fit in, aren’t aggressive, etc for both their safety and that of the camp.He would not take no for an answer. I kept saying I was not comfortable and would be leaving, and he kept telling me it’s normal for my dogs to be anxious, he even in the middleof begging me to stay, asked me to hold on so he could check another dog in. He would not stop until my boyfriend came back inside and told him definitively no.I asked our usual camp bow wow, which is an hour away there and back—but I will continue going because my experiences was THAT bad here, and they said that this was 100% against corporate policy. Not only that, they took both of my pups in for the normal trial day—free of charge—even though one of them had been there years before. It’s not about the money, it’s about shady business practices and the inability to take no for an answer.The entire atmosphere was chaotic and it seemed short staffed compared to every other camp I’ve been to. I am really confused by the amount of 5 star reviews as I doubt I’m the only one who knew something was off, but maybe it’s just because I’ve been using Camp Bow Wow since they started and know the policies better than most.Edit: please see their Facebook reviews

I never write reviews or care to. This time I am writing this so hopefully someone can read mine and be very cautious at checkout and make sure they are not over charging you for extra snuggle time on top of what they offer online already when you book a executive suite. Came back from my business trip to pickup my dog and was charged an extra $227 for extra snuggle time that they claim on there pricing for the executive suite you pay for. My problem is not the extra attention they showed my animal family member its the fact I was not called or emailed to authorize this extra time. The front desk employees are great and professional BUT with that said they never refund any amount to you even tho they agreed with me and said they should have called or emailed first to get an approval first. Be cautious before you pay with your bill and all charges. I run a large business and we always make sure to call or email attempt multiple times and log ot before we charge extra for anything. Its called customer service so that way my business returns and gives everyone a great feeling about my business and not feeling ripped off.

It feels so personal and welcoming! I haven’t met a counselor that we, and our golden retriever, didn’t instantly like! We have our regular days that we go, and if we miss one then someone is always reaching out to ask if everything’s is ok. Moxie loves going and as soon as we turn into the neighborhood to get to camp, she’s sitting up and looking out the windows excitedly! When we get her out of the car, she practically pulls our arms off tugging so hard to get in (and this is a dog who otherwise heels very nicely!) and her tail is going so fast! We’re moving to a new town soon that has a location, but we’ve already discussed wanting to keep her at her current location because we love it so much. It’s also incredibly convenient to have a safe and fun place to take her on Saturdays when we have a full day of errands, but don’t want to leave her home alone! We truly cannot say enough good things about taking Moxie to camp and we don’t know where we’d be without it!

My little boy Bandit goes to day camp every week, M-F, since I cant bring him to work right now. He loves it and the staff are so caring and great! They treat him like hes one of their own.We recently moved here in June and hes been going consistently since then. Whenever I pick him up hes usually exhausted which is a huge win for me as a dog mom. Hes stayed overnight a few times and its been a relief when Ive had to go out of town, to know that hes safe, being cared for well, and having a blast.I will continue to utilize their services for the foreseeable future.

EXCELLENT dog care! That always love having Roxie visit. She loves getting her “bath” and comes home fresh. We take her there at least 1 or 2x’s a week, and especially when it’s rainy. When she stays long term, she gets her own room and we can access video if we choose. Very reasonably priced. 💜

The staff is friendly and very good with my Daisy. They took the time to get to know her and her personality. I’m always told a fun story from her day or who she played with most. We love it here!!

Was a good place. Very clean. They send you pictures, videos. But I have one HUGE issue they required a slip collar. Our vet told us no. We told them NO. He spent 2 days with them due to I was going to be in the hospital. They used one on him!!! He came home with that cough reflex and it was from them using that collar!!!!! Very Very unhappy about that. If it was a big issue they should of called us to pick him up!!! I was so hoping to take him back to play but after that no!!!!!!

Ive taken a tour here before and I must say that the establishment is always clean. Ive seen dogs come to the camp while I was there and they were just so excited to go back and play. When walking by some of the play areas, some dogs would come to greet me through the gates they have and I could tell that they were having a good time.The staff here are really invested and care for each dog as if they were their own. Ive spoken with them about dog needs and if you tell them your dog needs to be handled in a particular manner, or can only be with a certain amount of dogs, theyre very accommodating and will do everything they can to ensure the safety and happiness of your dog.I highly recommend checking them out at least once, and letting your dog play there a few times. Plus their first time there if theyve never been is free! They are a must see location.

The facilities and staff here are excellent! They all love dogs and it shows. My Hank has been coming here for a few months now, and he LOVES going to daycare. They have been so patient with him, especially since hes a puppy and he can be very nervous around new people. He now runs towards the door and does not hesitate to go off to the play area.

4 month old Aussidoodle got so much TLC, and even came home with better manners!! Staff (on camera) seemed so caring and those we meet were informative and dog friendly for sure. 5 star weekend for Tucker, thanks!

I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else! I love camp bow wow! You can view your pup on the camper cams and it’s so sweet to see through the work day! All the workers are so kind and loving they make it really personal and you know your dog is in the best of care!

We just started taking our dog (Walter) here since my wife couldn’t take him to her new job. We were nervous at first because he’s still a puppy and hasn’t spent a lot of time around other dogs... but Walter absolutely loved it! We usually take him every other day and he looks forward to it so much! The staff is super friendly and they love the dogs as much as their owners. We couldn’t be happier with Camp Bow Wow!

Ive been taking my pup here for a couple months now and I have nothing but good things to say. The staff LOVES dogs and it shows. They are always glad to see my little girl and take great care of her throughout the day. In the rare occasion I have had an issue it request they have done all they could to accommodate. Best of all, and the most important part, is that my doggo absolutely loves going there!

Weve been taking our dog here for the last 6 months and we love it! He comes home tired from a day of playing, which helps with his restlessness during the week. Being able to see him on camera in the playroom is great. Weve done a few nights boarding and upgraded to a room with a camera, and it was really comforting being able to check in on him.Also, the staff seems to really care about the pups. They are attentive to Milos needs. As example, he is terrible about drinking water when he needs it and gets dehydrated; they make a special effort to make sure he gets some water during the day which I greatly appreciate.I highly recommend bringing your pups here for daycare or boarding!

I cant tell you how much I love Camp Bow Wow in Hurst!!! So does my dog Cooper. The facility is super nice and clean, the staff is great especially two ladies especially stand out to me with amazing service. Brandy and Kira. They are very helpful to answer my endless questions about boarding my dog and doggy daycare. This was my first time ever using a boarding or daycare facility I had many reservations at the start but I have been bringing my puppy back. He gets soooo excited when we pull up to the Hurst TX location!! He is worn out with all the play time he gets its so worth the 30.00 a day. I know he is in great hands when I drop him off. Brandy and Kira are the best. Its a great location for the area we have needed something like this in our area for some time. They even do grooming!!
