I started seeing Lynda a little over a year ago now (as a 29-year old female). I started therapy seeking general help with some areas of my life I was struggling (body image, relationships, etc.). I wasnt 100% sure that going to therapy for general help was appropriate - but oh my goodness am I so glad I did! As it turns out, being a human can be really HARD and I had more stuff I needed help dealing with than I thought. Lynda has been absolutely wonderful. I couldnt imagine going through this journey with anyone else, nor would I want to. She has made me feel safe and seen and supported, all while challenging me to grow.Through therapy, Lynda has helped me love myself better (lots of emphasis on this one!!); helped me to speak, feel, and release more instead of suppressing and running away from tough emotions; helped me to be more present; be a better communicator; and much more. I could not be more grateful for her and grateful to God for guiding my path to her. She has been a great blessing to me. 100 out of 5 stars from me!

Ms. Carmouche is an awesome professional! Ms. Carmouche recently provided diversity training for the Webster Parish School Board and it was by far an awesome experience for our team. The importance of recognizing and respecting diversity in the work place was presented to us in such an impactful, life-changing and eye opening exchange. Additionally, Ms. Carmouche availed herself to our district to assist during crisis situations which affected both staff and students. Her ability to teach practical coping skills are effective and have long term benefits.

Lynda has a God-given gift that she has graciously shared with our family. She has made herself available in times of need despite our regularly scheduled appointments. She is knowledgeable, caring, and most of all anointed to do the work she does. This shows up in EVERY interaction she has with me and my family. I wish there were more than five stars because thats what Lynda deserves! She is one of a kind. There arent many in her field of work that are 100% committed to helping you better yourself like she is. (Ive been to a few! LOL)In my experience with her she went ABOVE & BEYOND to help my son and myself. I truly feel like she is doing exactly what God put in her heart to do and it shows! My experience working with Lynda Carmouche was none other than amazing! I am one of the Young Adult Ministry leaders at Como First Missionary Baptist Church in Ft. Worth, TX and we contacted Ms. Carmouche during Mental Health Awareness month to present on the topic “Ending the Stigma.” Ms. Carmouche was very accommodating and extremely easy to work with. Although we contacted her at the last minute, she availed herself to our church and worked around our schedule. She was well prepared and her presentation was PHENOMENAL! It was such a blessing to watch her in action and witness how well the congregation responded to her unique style. She spoke about the stigma of mental health, how it causes people to feel ashamed, and worst of all how it prevents people from seeking the help they need. It was evident during my initial conversation with Ms. Carmouche that she has a passion for helping others and I thank God for her amazing gift and how she blessed my church family.

Lynda Carmouche is amazing. I have attended many of her professional workshops and she has helped me a lot in my personal and professional life. I would refer her services to people of all ages, backgrounds, and ethnicity.

We were referred to Lynda by a family member because we were seeking help for our son who needed help dealing with anxiety. She was not in our immediate area but was willing to help us via the virtual services that she offers. This wasnt something I was familiar with, but I was glad she offered. Its very convenient and she has helped save our family.

Mrs Carmouche has been seeing my son for therapy for almost three years. She is always professional and has helped my son become a better person we are at a point now that she only has to speak to my son when he feels the need to talk to Mrs Lynda she has him in a really good place and got him through severalIssues over the last few years.

I was pleasantly surprised with the class on sensitivity. When I first heard we had to have sensitivity training I thought UUgghh! Theyre going to tell us we have to be nice to everyone and not have our own opinion about anything! That is not true. This class was full of fun and exercises to teach us to think about others as human beings, not just someone of a different color, sex, political viewpoint, or social status. Bottom line is we are all of the human race and although we have our differences, we are more alike than we take the time to find out. I would strongly suggest this class/exercise for everyone--even young people. It learned that sensitivity does not mean being best buddies with everyone or changing my own views, but accepting others differences and finding the positive in them.

The sole reason for a one rating is the terrible communication. My phone calls went unanswered to get the initial appointment scheduled. I finally reached her via email and we had 3 meetings. She seemed genuinely on board & commited. I called and emailed several times to re-start meetings to no avail. To be completely ignored is rude and makes us start all over again in the process. If you didn’t want to see us anymore, simply say that and save everyone’s time.
