Dr. Jacobs and the staff at HealthSource Merchants Walk are the best! They are up on the latest treatments and technology and when you are there they treat you like family! I had low back and hip issues and I can tell a difference even after a couple of weeks! I highly recommend!

To be completely honest, I was a bit skeptical at first. I had always thought of the chiropractor as a gimmicky practice similar to palm reading and tarot cards. My wife was suffering from severe neck pain (no, it wasn’t me) and she began seeing Dr. Jacobs. She noticed results immediately...which made me happy. No more “honey can you massage my neck, not that spot, a little harder....” you get the point. Needless to say we were pleased with the results, but I never thought it was for me...I’m tough! But in all my toughness, my shoulder hurt from falling off a ladder and my hips hurt from years of soccer. I thought that was just normal. I was finally convinced to give it a try...after all nothing was wrong with me. After the first visit I could tell a huge difference in my shoulder mobility and my hip joint pain has just about gone away. To make a long story...not so long...I am now a believer! I started seeing Dr. Jacobs and her team over a year ago in order to address issues I had with my hip and my posture. Her team taught me how to properly use a foam roller and lacrosse ball to help with any issue that may arise such as shoulder or lower back tightness. Since then she also kept me pain free and moving very well during my pregnancy and recovery.

I was having pain in my neck and upper back for a month. I couldn’t even turn my head or most importantly play with my 3 small children. I went to see Dr. Jacobs and her team and was highly impressed by the amount of care and compassion shown just in the consultation. After coming for about 5 appointments and doing the care plan given to me, my pain was gone. The movement in my neck and back was considerably better. The best part is I didn’t have to take any medications. I really wanted to seek pain relief without having to take medication if possible. I would highly recommend this team and Dr. Jacobs. The customization of the care plan and just support and positive encouragement from her and the team make my day and help so much! If your in pain go see them!

I was initially drawn to this location as there were so many positive reviews, however upon my second or third visit I found out the reason for such reviews - they were giving out free tshirts if you left a review. Now this isnt to say that your review must be positive, but I certainly felt pressure to leave a good review on the spot. However, I am very particular in the reviews I give for any business, so I put off leaving a review at that moment -- its been a while since my experience with HealthSource, and for this reason, Id like to give my review now.First thing -- I absolutely loved Dr. Jacobs. If not for the other reasons, I would have stayed with HealthSource because of her. She is kind, helpful, and thorough. I have nothing but good things to say about her.My issue was with some of the staff. By my second visit, I was left on my own to figure out what actions were expected of me once I walked through the door -- specifically, the exercises. I was expected to know what to do, how to do them correctly, and was nearly shamed for needing help -- Cmon you dont know by now? -- This was said in a joking manner, but to be told this in front of a group of strangers, I was embarrassed. I felt stupid.Additionally, attempting the exercises in front of a group of other patients was extremely embarrassing. I had no idea what I was doing, I didnt like strangers seeing me struggle with my weaknesses, or seeing me with my butt in the air. And due to the staffs multitasking, I was often left to figure things out myself-- which honestly felt like a waste of money. If I could do these things myself, I wouldnt be here!There were other small things I faced (hours they were open conflicted with my work schedule), but ultimately the main factor for canceling my patient plan was that the experience just wasnt what I had anticipated. Not all of it was the fault of the staff -- some of it was just the lack of privacy that couldnt be helped and I understand that. However, I didnt feel the experience was worth the cost, so I didnt stick around for long.I feel that thorough reviews are extremely important. I may be the odd one out in this collection of 5 star reviews, but people like myself rely on honest reviews when trying out new places. I hope my review offers someone a deeper perspective, and perhaps some key points on how to improve at HS.

I have dealt with neck and arm pain for years. My primary care has always given me muscle relaxers, pain meds or referred me out to Sportsmed or TOC, with no results. I started coming here off of the referral from a friend and Ive maybe had 6 appointments so far. The pain relief Im receiving from the adjustments and other things Ive had done here is absolutely incredible. They also take you with or without insurance and break it down into affordable payments for you! I recommend coming here if you have been dealing with any neck or back pain! You will not regret it!

Dr. Jacobs and the team are awesome! I wasnt having any major problems when we started, but had noticed decreasing ability to look over my shoulder when backing up my car or changing lanes, needing to turn my whole body. After a couple of weeks my ability to turn and look with noticeably improved and stiffness I hadnt noticed had been greatly reduced. Continued work has improved my lower back and ability to twist and bend. Try them out.
