When I went in to see Dr. Mike, I couldnt even turn my head. After the x rays and adjustment, I felt so much better. So health first chiropractic is 30 minutes away from me but it’s so worth it, I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else! My experience with Dr. Mike has been very positive.I was experiencing lower back pain, and after about two weeks I was pain free. Five years ago I had epidurals, and I thought I would have to do that again. Then some friends recommended Dr Mike, and also said he was a Christian which I would have known if nobody had told me. The whole staff is great. They make you feel like they’ve known you all your life. I can’t say enough good things about this practice.

I’ve been going to Health First Chiropractic for over a decade now. I suffer from chronic back pain and tmj, with regular check ups both of these issues are managed without surgery and I am able to enjoy a life without pain again. The staff was very nice, but I didn’t see any of them wear a mask!! All of the other patients I saw had masks. I think they should give customers the same respect. Masks are most effective if everyone wears them! The employees should have to wear masks until this pandemic is under control. I can’t begin to tell you how appreciative I am that I walked into Dr. Mike’s office. New to the area, I searched and searched for the perfect doctor. I am so appreciative of Dr. Mike and his WONDERFUL staff, and greatly look forward to each of my office visits. As a young 30 something, I was reluctant to seek chiropractic care, we’re talking about our spine after all. As a photographer/videographer for over a decade and all those years of carrying heavy equipment for long hours I couldn’t ignore asking for help any longer, regular massages and exercise were no longer cutting it. I was waking up with sleep injuries, tweaking my back more easily, and began being out of commission for longer and longer stretches each time.I expressed my concerns and even hesitations to Dr. Mike, pretty much explaining I was terrified of the idea, and he met those concerns with compassion and courtesy. Dr. Mike quickly put my mind at ease. He was thorough, considerate, informative, and kind. Everything you want from a doctor. Beyond that, he has an equally wonderful staff that makes walking into his office feel completely welcoming. They also keep their office extremely clean, something to note these days. As an auto immune individual (Addisons) I feel completely at ease and safe as a patient.I just eclipsed nearly 15 adjustments, had a re-exam, and was pleasantly surprised to see my very misaligned spine moving back into position from the before and after x-rays. I couldn’t believe it! Great, great, great. I saw Dr. Mike while we were living in Huntsville last year while I was pregnant. He did adjustments throughout my pregnancy and kept me feeling good (in addition to maintenance care on my neck after being rear-ended a few years ago.) When I first came into their facility (as a result of a current patient referral) my left index finger and thumb were completely numb and had been for a couple of months. I was beginning to lose strength in my left arm and upper body. When Dr. Mike xrayed and consulted with me - it was easy to see where my issues were.Within the first week of visits I began to regain my strength and the numbness was about 90% gone. I went to Dr. Mike a couple of years ago about some leg pain. I had seen an orthopodic doctor who couldnt find the cause of the pain but wanted to treat it with a painful injection - which would have been temporary at best. Dr. Mike not only diagnosed the cause of the pain, but proscribed some treatment that made a huge difference even today. Thanks, Dr. Mike!

I first went to Dr. Mike at Health First because of an injury I sustained twenty years ago; I broke my arm near my shoulder. The shoulder imobilizer I wore caused my shoulder to lock and subsequently scar tissue from the therapy. This injury has caused stiffness and soreness for years. Dr. Mike was able to help me recover from this soreness and pain and back to my normal activities. Now I go once a month for maintenance. Dr. Mike and his staff are great, I can recommend them to anyone.

As a patient for nearly three years I can not express how much Dr. Mike and his staff have helped me! I was suffering from back and neck pain,headaches and after going through regular physical therapy had not found any relief. I was afraid of chiropractry. But, Dr. Mike assured me that he would walk me through the process and help me be comfortable with his treatment. I was. I first went to see Dr. Mike because I had a literal pain in my neck. Honestly, I was very skeptical of seeing a Chiropractor because I never really considered them to be real medical professionals (sorry, Mike!), but I figured that I had no other choice other than pain medication or surgery. After talking with some friends, they directed me to Dr. Mike.I was very impressed that he asked me a lot of questions to try to find out why I was having neck pains, and he truly listened to my answers. After a round of x-rays and muscle tension tests, he gave me advice about how to move forward. To summarize: his advice was based on A) circumstantial evidence via my answers to his questions, B) empirical evidence via the x-rays and tests, and C) an extensive knowledge of physiology and the human anatomy.Once he did that, I had NO PROBLEM believing that this was a real medical professional. My fallacy in thinking that real medicine involved pills and/or surgery was blown away as we discussed how the body is interconnected, and how the spine is the central connection point in the body. Therefore, getting IT straightened out helps to correct a lot of other issues, like my neck.

Came in with a pinched Sciatic nerve and severe back pain, within a week Dr. Mike had my pain levels reduced 80%. The staff is friendly and inviting. I recommend Health First Chiropractic to anyone who has back/neck issues.
