I do not write a lot of Reviews, but when someone goes over and above then I believe it is important to acknowledge the person! Rhonda, the co-manager at the Bridge Street Town Center, did an AMAZING job! I placed an order for pickup and one item was inadvertently not included and I didn’t realize it until I arrived home. When I spoke with Rhonda re: the issue, she was so personable and willing to resolve the issue most expeditiously. She mailed the missing brow pencil via UPS, included some amazing samples, and also penned a handwritten note! Thank you Rhonda for being so intentional in providing AMAZING Customer Service. It was noticed & greatly appreciated!!!!!

Doesn’t matter what I need if is perfume or a new straightener, a cute shower cap or waterproof makeup they have it and I’d highly recommended this to any girl or woman for all the little luxury’s to make you feel like a real girl, I visit there store regularly whenever I’m traveling and find everything I need. I give this place 5 stars for sure.

Amber at the beauty bar in Madison, AL fixed my hair for a company Christmas party and I received the most compliments I have ever gotten on my hair in my life.......from both men and women! It was a simple style, side braid into a low bohemian bun and it was perfect! I loved it! I would definitely recommend her and I will absolutely be back! Very reasonable price as well.

Highly disappointed how a situation was handled by a manager Saturday at the Bridgestreet Town Center location. I won’t go into details because the associate that was involved could not help her situation but when the manager was involved she could have been a little more helpful and accommodating on my part as the customer. They were not able to finish my brow appointment and was in the middle of it so I had one brow partially waxed and wax still currently on my brows when the associate had to stop. Of course I needed to have it finished since they were half way done and I still had wax on my brow. They then sent me to the Bob Wallace location where they worked me in 30 minutes later but living in Athens this was out of the way and put me way behind in my schedule. The manager from the Bridgestreet location said she would contact them and the wax would be compensated. Get to the Bob Wallace location they don’t know anything about it except that I was coming and I do appreciate them getting me in but I paid full price for the wax. Not that I mind paying for a service that goes as it should d but when your first appointment can’t be completed due to store issues and you drive out of your way and have a 20 minute appointment turn into a hour and half of your time they could have been a little more accommodating. For this to be my first brow appointment I had made with them I will not be making another.

Did an online order pick up. I get an email saying my order is ready. Arrive at the store it was 10 minutes before anyone even helped me. When the cashier shows up brinks security is there so she helps him first. After spending about another 5 minutes helping him, Then she starts looking for my order. My order was never even put together. She goes to the back to look for my order. Finally comes back out to tell me they didnt have my concealer in stock(which is still showing online they have it available not to mention I had the email saying my items were ready.) I give her another color because it was on sale buy 2 get one free so i loose the deal if i dont get something. She goes to look for the color and brings back 3 concealers about 3 shades darker than me. I get one to return later. I get home only to notice that the setting powder I ordered had a sticker on it that said tester. So I basically paid for a used product. All in all this trip which should have taken less than 10 minutes, I ended up at the store for 45 minutes. Worst experience ever. I could have literally gone through the store picked out my own items stood in line and checked out faster than what the online order took.

Incredibly impressed with how polite, nice, and educated the employees are at this Ulta location. I was asked several times if I needed help (which I did). I didn’t catch any names of the employees but they all had an amazing attitude with everything going on right now. Will definitely be coming back!

What I needed and was on sale, they were out of. The sales person (very nice girl) tried ordering online for a free ship wasnt able to order. So kind of a bust. If they offer something on sale, it should be in stock.

I recently took a coworker to the store to find her some makeup that would work well for her and we were not disappointed because the staff was kind and very helpful. The company always has a coupon of some kind and always have products at a much lower price than other stores. I will continue to go back to this company. I highly recommend it, as you cant beat the prices, short lines, and knowledge most have.

Wont ever go there again. I needed help locating a brand and some items, and I felt like I was asking for a favor. One employee was on the phone while she was talking to me. The other one simply said she didnt know... And, mind you, the store was EMPTY, as it was in the morning on a weekday...How in the world are they staying in business?

I needed a haircut today short notice and the receptionist was going to book me later, but one of the stylist overheard and took me in because he said he finished his client early and will have time in between. My haircut turned out FABULOUS and exactly what I wanted. I believe his name was Josh. The previous guest and I was extremely satisfied. Ill be booking with him again. Im especially pleased that he squeezed me in his schedule, because I did not want to have drive back later.

Best stuff here. I have so many favorites. But so many different brands. ULTA is the answer. It may not be cheaper but Its there and I do get rewards I think.....Doesnt matter, its the perfect place to get ALL my cosmetic equipment and needs. From face to hair.....love it so much

I am a former Hairdresser and not able to do hair anymore - received license back in 89. I am very picky because of this. When I went in on a whim to get my hair done - which has been disastrous since having surgery about 4 months ago - I received excellent service and she listened to my concerns through and through. That’s a very good sign of a great stylist. When they listen. Amber was my stylist. She was amazing- not a ton of people can do or like to do razor cuts. She did - she takes to me to figure out our plan of attack with my hair, gave me options which she thought might work and took her time and watched the processing of my hair because of my health situation. (Loss of hair recently)She knows what she is doing, and cares about each customer. I highly recommend Amber. You will not be disappointed.I received : a haircut (razored) a root touch up, lighting on ends then applied a bright red for a biolage effect of my hair.Go see amber-

A story about my hair appointment:Sheila!!!!! First off, I booked my appointment last minute online, but it all went smoothly when I showed up. Sheila is so bubbly and seemed so happy to see me even though weve never met. My hair had seen way better days, after being bleached, dyed multiple times, and in the sun and the sea over the past few months it was DRY. It needed some serious TLC. I was almost embarrassed to sit in Sheilas chair and talk about what I wanted, worried she would lecture or shun me for not taking better care of it - as some hair stylists do. That was not the case at all! She was super sweet and suggested I get a pH balance treatment for nourishment. Which has made my hair 10xs better. I told her I wanted to keep as much length as possible even though a lot of it is damaged. She listened! She didnt try to chop it all off even though it probably should be. Im in love with my hair and she brought it back to life. She has magic in her hands!

Ive always loved Ulta for their great selection of products, free gifts with purchase, and helpful service. But today I was overwhelmed by the wonderful service given by Presley. She was patient, fun, and extremely helpful! Shes the reason shopping is fun! Will always love Ulta!

I go shopping here for my wife and as chaotic as make up stores can be, this one makes it easy to get around in and find something. If you cant find something, the staff is super friendly and willing to help. The only complaints I have is it seems as if they never have enough in-store stock of products which forces you to either wait and come back or order online. The other complaint is how messy some of the displays are because of the tester bottles and jars just being smeared all over the place. You ever seen a childs hand prints all over your back windows? This is comparable.

The staff was so nice. Im 27 weeks pregnant with twins and everyone was so nice instead of staring at me like they do in the other stores. Also they were out of a NYX color that i wanted and one of the ladies working helped me find something even better along with giving me a gift when I left.

Terrible customer service! The employees stand around and talk with each other while youre just standing there waiting to be acknowledged to ask a question. Then, when you get to the check out counter, you stand for another 5 minutes to be acknowledged again.... I went and bought two items to which I was told I could not use my coupon of $3.50 off $15. I should have just ordered online because guess what? The coupon was approved there.

Really poorly optimized store. All the popular, low-priced options are right next to the registers, and when its crowded its a nightmare because there is nowhere for the line to go.Ive had excellent service here before, the staff is friendly and helpful, but the store layout is not good so its better to visit during the week when it isnt crowded.

I agree with anyone who says this place is not friendly. I have come in at least 10 times and not once did anyone welcome me or offer assistance. Even when Im circling the same area multiple times, I have to call someone to assist me even though they are watching me look around. No one has ever offered a basket or anything. Not a friendly experience. Hopefully once they open the new location, it will be friendlier.

Great selection of items!I actually appreciate not being hounded by the staff when Im here, as opposed to at Sephora where it feels like Im being watched at every turn. I prefer to take my time and browse, then if I have a question I will ask.Every time Ive needed help finding an item, I can always find an employee to help. On top of that, the girls at the checkout counter are always very nice and upbeat!

I love Ulta as a place to purchase my make up and hair products! however, I have used the Salon there 2x and my hair was ruined both times. The stylist do not know what they are doing! and it is very expensive. I paid a lot for cut and color and didnt get what I wanted and I have to pay someone else to redo my hair. right before family pictures too! such a waste of time! The stylist I saw recently was named Robin.

The wife loves the place. She gets her hair products there. I would stop by and give them a shot. Its not any different than shopping at Walmart so go in there and see how they are and give them an chance

I was told I could exchange products gifted to me for a darker shade at no extra cost if I didn’t use 75% of the product and when I took it to exchange I had used the products two times. The lady behind the counter returned my products after I had explained I needed an exchange. It ended up costing me $75 for products that were gifted to me. I am very disappointed that the staff did not do the correct transition and I had to pay! It’s items I needed otherwise I would have just left.This was the new Huntsville location. I have never had a problem with the Bridgestreet location.

I just left Ulta and had the worst experience. I was there for almost 45 minutes trying to pick out the right shade and tone of makeup for myself and I was struggling. No one even bothered to come up to me and ask if I needed help or anything. Im not one to like being hounded but that was absolutely ridiculous. By the time I was finally spoken to it was by a rep that just flew in from Nashville. I asked her a quick question or two before I made a beeline for checkout. Thank you to the sweet cashier who made my experience not a complete disaster. I couldnt wait to leave the store. I hope to goodness that this makeup matches my skintone. If not bye bye $110.00!

Went in and looked around for a particular foundation and highlighter. I asked a girl who was standing around where I could find it. She literally pointed across the entire store and says see where it says.. I told her I did not see it and she pointed again across the store at 600 other products and said the exact same thing. I again told her I did not see what she was referring to-she repeats the same sentence a 3rd time. Therefore, I move on and ask where the other item was I was looking for. She tells me its the row behind the one she was just pointing at... (Lucky me) I go and look up and down, up and down each aisle then decided to try and find someone that could actually help me. I even stood out in the middle of the perfumes and looked around still no one available. I found 3 other workers but they were actually HELPING their customers. I put my 2 other items I found back and left out of frustration.

I love the new Ulta next to my office in Huntsville. They have such a great selection of goods! Keep the coupons coming!

My son was getting married on Saturday! Due to a mix up...the bride to bes makeup artist couldnt do my makeup! I had gone to Ulta before in St. Louis so I immediately thought of them. I called and explained the situation. The staff was wonderful and told me not to worry!My daughter and I arrived early. The staff was very welcoming and hospitable offering coffee or water. Kudos to JaNae our makeup artist!! She was great...and we looked fabulous for the the big day!!Thank you JaNae and staff for saving the day...and making us look great!!!

Take my girl here all the time they have a great variety a products but feel really uncomfortable when shopping even though we spent a tremendous amount of money there every time we go it seems like a girl is always following us around the store. Really weird and makes me not want to come back

They have a good selection. You better take coupons. Oh, the staff isnt really friendly- especially near the Bare Minerals counter. A lady looking for the same item as me said she was looking for somewhere else to get her item & a 3rd lady spoke up & said QVC. Thats 3 of us who didnt appreciate the attitude...

Was very disappointed in the makeup and hair they did for me for my event, definitely not worth the $$! My daughters could not believe how bad they did for the money they charged. My daily natural straight hair looks much better then their special hair do!!

This place has always been a favorite shop for my mom and I. The people there are always helpful with recommendations and such. Shelia whom is a hair stylist in their salon always makes sure that we get a great cut and that its exactly how we want it. Shes pretty awesome. Debby who works at the brow bar cant be beat either. I say that if you had a bad experience there, its a fluke.

For some reason I can not find the right hair care products for me here. But I will say, this place hasa lot of great deals.

Macy was so lovely and sweet helping me with my questions and matching products for me. She was knowledgeable of the products and how they work for different skin types. I would give 10 stars if I could!!

Usually a good experience shopping here. They have a good selection of name brand and drug store branded make up and skin care.I do wish the store was set up a little better. The name brand aisles are roomy and the products are obviously set up in a very spacious way, which I know Ulta doesnt set up the planogram; but the drug store aisles are very crampy double with the fact that the check out line starts where the drug store section is. Its kind of a pain to get through. Their bathroom is always like a 4/10.

I was disappointed in the attention I was given. I needed help picking out a gift but was pretty much ignored.

I have never been more ready to leave a store in my life. I’m not one to be uncomfortable in a store at all, but I was made to feel like because I was clearly not wearing any make up that no reps wanted to talk to me. I was clearly lost in what I was looking for and slightly laughing having a fun time trying to color match. I could very obviously see a rep scoffing at me in the mirror as I witnessed her help every other customer for 40 minutes (not exaggerating at all) before asking if I needed help. By the time the two nice reps I encountered came over to save me, I was already over trying to color match and just ready to leave. The ONLY reason I’m not giving one star is because of the sweet cashier. She was very apologetic as I slightly mentioned my bad experience, and was ready to help, but as I said, I was so ready to just leave. I can’t even believe I spent any of my money there.

This particular store did not offer a great shopping experience. I was there around 5:30PM on 7/27/17. When I walked in there were 4 employees huddled at the front. They welcomed me when I walked into the store but never offered to assist me with anything. There were several customers in the store and I never saw a single one of them ask anyone if they needed any help. I was looking for a particular brand of mascara and obviously there are tons of options in the store. I didnt know where to start to find it and could have been in and out in a few seconds if someone had offered to assist me. I tried finding it myself but finally had to go ask the huddle of employees at the front to help me.

Love the variety of cosmetics. But dont like the long lines, to pay for your things,!

Ulta itself is a great store with awesome deals. This location is a joke though. Staff literally knows NOTHING about makeup, skincare, or hair. They do not know what products they do or do not carry. They do not even try to pretend to care when helping. They act as if it is a bother to help you. Anytime there is a promo with a free gift, they NEVER have the freebies. I only purchase from this store when I need something ASAP. Otherwise, Id rather order online and wait a few days as to not have to deal with their incompetence.

They have everything you could want related to skin care and beauty. You can find everything you need for men and women. They also do color matching in store. They are always having sales, and you can get some things in store that are not available online. I would highly suggest trying Ulta if you do not want to go to an expensive place like Sephora. The only downside is that there are going to be things at Sephora or Mac that will not be available here.

I have given this store multiple chances to prove they care about customers. i once stood at the salon counter for 45 minutes trying to make an appt only to hear staff laugh at me. Another time I was told my colors were wrong, make-up I had purchased there two weeks earlier. Yesterday, though, was the last straw. I was in the store two minutes when a clerk walked up and said Your make-up is dripping off your nose and ages you even more than you are. I can give you half a face that looks better. When I declined because I was on my way to a luncheon and just killing time, she replied Looking like that?They seriously need to train the staff! Happy to pay higher prices to NOT be insulted.

I went to Ulta twice in as many days for two different things. The first was a free product (yay birthday perks!) The second was a hair trim. I am supremely picky about my hair. Its curly and can be a terror to deal with...plus since Im new to the area I was terrified of letting anyone touch it but it needed some love. I made an appointment with Sheila (the master stylist) and she did exactly what I asked. Shes easy to talk to and I plan to continue going to her! Thank you Sheila!!

Below par customer service. Every attendant appears to busy or annoyed if you ask for help. The line to check out is always wrapped around and the communication from the staff to their customers feels like a transaction at a walmart check out line. No friendliness, no interpersonal interactions. I would absolutely recommend Sephora over this location of Ulta 10/10 times.

I appreciate Ulta for always having a much better selection than Sephora for most items, but the service needs to interact more with their customers. It seems like every time I go in there I cant find service, and the checkout people are always in a bad mood. But if youre looking for a very specific shade of nail polish or lipstick they most likely have it here.

The staff is very friendly. Caitlyn, the associate who color matched me, was very knowledgeable about the cosmetics and tools. It was my first time at an Ulta store and definitely not my last.

They were out of what we looked for today. All the staff was happy to order the product at the sale price. Yay! Only thing is now we have to wait for it.

. I went because of the offer of the free cosmetic bag with purchase of Ulta products and signs where all over the Ulta cosmetic area. When I went to the cash register and asked for my bag like it was advertised in the Ulta app and also in store the cashier said that they ran out and that they received and email today that the stores will no longer receive the bags. The cashier did not offer anything else for the bag nor apologized instead she told the other cashier to take all the signs down. I feel very disappointed that nothing was done and the attitude from the cashier was like oh well. I emailed Ulta with my complaint and just got 2 auto responses and the last one said they hope to see me soon. Nothing was resolved and I am taking my business elsewhere.

Went today and was talked into purchasing the Proof Hair Liters because they were suppose to be on sale from two of their employees working in the hair section. When I reached the counter the lady rang them up full price. I told her I was told they were on sale and she asked her manager who said they werent part of the sale. Just some advice 1) dont expect the employees to know what is on sale. 2) dont expect the managers to care about the sale prices that employees tell the customers. I wouldnt have minded the misinformation but the manager acted like it was my fault for expecting them to be part of the sale. So, they didnt get the sale on those liters from me today. How you treat customers matters even a simple Im sorry for the misinformation would have made me happy and I probably would have still bought them.

I rate this store a ZERO.Staff is not interested in helping. I walked around and around and around obviously looking for something while the two employees standing right up front totally ignored me and kept talking to each other. The store never is well stocked. One of the things I as going to buy was a good mascara, not the cheap stuff, and I opened a few to look at the brushes and they were all old, dried out and clumpy. I have gone to this store many times and have had the same experience with rude unhelpful staff and badly stocked store. For a prime location such as this youd think it would be a five star store. Too bad. Theyve lost my business.

I could type a chapter on how amazing my experience with Ulta’s employee Celina was. I was turned away from Sephora, all because I wanted help with new foundation and wanted someone to test it on me, sonefiw they were “too busy, which wasn’t true). So after being extremely upset with Sephora I went to ulta. I then was helped by celina. I will forever remember her. I explained to her how bad I was with makeup, how unhappy I was with my coverage and I just needed help. She sat with me and tried multiple foundations on me and also helped me with contouring. I ended up spending over 300.00 in product that she used on me and that I fell in love with. I was so happy with how everything looked. Thank you so much celina for making me feel confident in makeup finally, for listening to my concerns, and for being such an amazing person. I will forever shop at Ulta because of her!

Its nice that they have drug store products for people on a budget but overall the service and selection just dont compare to Sephora in my opinion.

Lots of great brands and the workers are always really nice to me 💖 My only constructive criticism would be that the drugstore side (which has awesome brands like morphe and colourpop now btw) seems to be cluttered/understocked lately, but hey that may just be cuz more affordable makeup products are really popular right now so people pick over everything and make it messy😂

I love Ulta, but this one is not one of my favorites. Sometimes when I go in it takes forever to be greeted or asked if I need help, if they ever even do it at all. Most of the employees are rude, and this Ulta always seems to be out of whatever I come in looking for. 8/10 times I always end up going to Sephora to purchase what I needed - and if you need something drugstore just go to Target or Walmart, its cheaper anyways. This particular Ulta just does not give a good shopping experience.

There was a woman named Katie (redish hair, white girl that has a son) that cut my hair, well not so much cut but falling asleep on me. (Only naming because what she did was dangerous) Told me what I wanted she wouldnt cut it. Then while cut my hair, bumped me several times while cutting and blowdrying my hair. She almost burned my ear if I hadnt woken her up. Also cut my hair shorter than asked because while cutting she closed her eyes and cut to short. NEVER GO BACK. I am a very shy person so I with stood it, because I have no idea about her life and what she goes through.

Sometimes tolerable but overall obnoxious and completely unhelpful. I know a lot about makeup and beauty products, so its super obvious when their employees know NOTHING. Do NOT visit the salon here. Take your money elsewhere. No beauty shopping experience should be this painful. At least they have some decent product lines. Thats about their only saving grace.
