The staff at Brookdale Jones Farm is at the top of my list I like about living here. These wonderful people are so willing to help the residents with any problems we may have. If they cant help, they assure us they will find someone who can, and they do! In these current times of pandemic stress, they have assisted me in areas that are unfamiliar to me, and I am at ease knowing that I am being well taken care of.Brookdale Jones Farm is nestled in the Jones Valley Farm property which looks peaceful with the rolling mountains surrounding it. Contentment describes both the cows in the pastures and the way I feel. Below is a picture I painted just a few years ago. Enjoy!

I am proud to work for this company and would recommend this facility to anybody I know. The staff work hard to make this place one of the best senior living facilities in our community!

I have lived at Brookdale Jones Farm for 2 years. The staff is wonderful, love my housekeeper-she is a blessing. Very thankful for the hard work Allen and the staff have done to make our dining experience more pleasant! I am an Ambassador here at Brookdale Jones Farm and love meeting new people. So thankful Brookdale Jones Farm has kept us safe during this Pandemic.

My Mom, Lois Smith, was at Brookdale since March 2019 following her stroke. My sister, Robin, and I chose Brookdale because of the nursing staff there. Our Mom passed on 23rd August and I can say everyone there took the greatest care of her from the day we moved her in. They were there beside her when she was at her worst state. They showed her such love and help to make everything easier. I can not say enough about this unbelievable compassionate place. We love all the nurses, caregivers, staff, and Allen for taking care of our sweet Mom

I started working at Brookdale Jones Farm on the Activities staff during the middle of the Pandemic, and have seen how incredibly hard my boss has worked to ensure that our residents are engaged. Our facility as a whole does as much as possible to keep our residents comfortable, active, and safe during these unprecedented times.

Brookdale at Jones Farm went from pretty good to awful last year when the prior long-time manager was fired. The new person placed in charge summarily fired several key caregivers, including the employee of the year for the entire Brookdale national organization, without cause. The care of our 88 year old mother then declined rapidly. We had to quickly move her to another facility (which also hired the employee of the year upon our recommendation), to escape the madness of Brookdale and ensure her health was properly managed. No explanation was ever given to us about the reason for the sudden changes. No qualified employees were left on staff to supervise the proper and timely dispensation of medication to our mother. The new staff repeatedly failed to give her the required medication or provide proper care, even after we complained several times. Her life was literally in jeopardy and both Brookdale local and corporate management failed to take any immediate corrective action. We also discovered shortly before these changes occurred a scheme by which Brookdale had overcharged us several thousand dollars by submitting false charges for beauty salon services over a period of more than a year. After a lot of effort we finally we able to receive a credit for the fraudulent charges. The dining room operation was horribly managed for the entire seven years our mother lived at Brook dale. Your parents need decent food so it baffleD us why an experienced dining room manager and staff could not be hired. This is a huge facility with hundreds of residents (and charges very high rates), so money was not the reason (maybe poor management and/orcorporate office/public company greed?).In sum, you should stay away from this place if you care for your parents until competent management and staff are hired. We had a good experience for several years, but it turned horribly bad overnight.Interestingly, my cousin had the same experience with the facility in Birmingham. We both found much better care when we moved our parents to better run facilities. It appears that corporate bureaucracy has destroyed these facilities. The new employees are overworked, under-skilled (and underpaid—to save money, they now have terrible staff).

Brookdale at Jones Farm has been a wonderful place for my family member to live. Their independent apartments are big enough for an elderly person to be able to transition from their own home into an apartment without feeling like theyve lost everything. The staff are warm and very attentive to the needs of our family member. They really go out of their way to help in every way possible.

My daughter use to work there back in May of this year and they still havent paid her and this is now December. Now they are telling her that there is nothing they can do about it. So she just worked for them for free.

Brookdale is a beautiful inviroment, the only major problem I had was with the dining room, the management is horrible, they acted like they cared what I had to say and just did nothing about what I had to say. Then I was standing their waiting for my grandfather when this young girl named Kendall asked me if everything was all right and asked me if she could assist me with anything that I needed, I started talking to her and she took anishitive of my problem and made it happen this young girl is who needs to be managing the kitchen staff, shes a bright, smiley, great listening, fantastic young girl!

You send 2 people to talk to a possible tennet without letting any family members present. Very unprofessional and is a breach of Doctor Patient confidentially by invading her privacy and causing an 80 year old women to be freaked out and very confused. After talking to a facility manager they said thats not their protocol. Very judgemental and and invasion of privacy. I hope thats not how you treat everyone thinking about moving into your facility. Word of mouth is a very strong tool.
