Dr. Dagly diagnosed and repaired my torn shoulder muscle. He gave great advice and excellent treatment!

Dr Dagly performed a biopsy and subsequent excision of a subungal insitu melanoma of my thumb. in the beginning of 2021. I was totally impressed with Dr Dagly and the entire staff and facility at his office. Dr Dagly treated me like a member of his family. He was caring, has a great bedside manner, answered everyone of my many questions in detail and just showed the ultimate expertise of an experienced, knowledgeable surgeon. He was a tremendous advocate for me with a little problem we had with the pathology lab and everyone of those who work with him were outstanding . He handled all of my post-op visits expertly. Overall I would not hesitate to highly recommend him and his organization. They are the best there is.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Dagly. As a surgeon and a human being. I would recommend him without hesitation. He recently treated my son for a severely fractured finger at the growth plate that he incurred in a sports activity. He met us at the hospital because we requested him on a referral. He was already finished with his day and came anyway. He treated my son with patience and amazing bedside manner and made him feel comfortable in spite of the severe pain he was in. He followed up with us frequently to make sure my son was progressing well. During a follow up visit for my son, I told him that I am having severe cervical issues. I was curious about his opinion. He immediately ordered a copy of the MRI to take a look. He referred a spine surgeon and followed up with me over the following days to see how I was doing. He then personally contacted the spine surgeon to make sure he got in touch with me as he knew I was in pain. All this when I was not even his patient. I can say that I have never had such a positive experience with a doctor before as I did with Dr. Dagly. My son’s hand healed perfectly as well thanks to his care. Dr. Dagly has treated me for a left shoulder dislocation. He is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and has wonderful bedside manner. Treated my 7 year old daughter like she was his own child. Was very patient, understanding and informative to ease our concerns. He genuinely cares about his patients and goes above and beyond. Dr. Dagly is seriously the best! I had an injury this past Feb and slipped on ice on our deck and fractured my humerus bone and sustained radial nerve damage while doing this. Dr. Dagly met me in the ER at Huntington Hospital and right from the beginning was kind, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. I am not sure how I could have gotten through my injury without being under his care. At each step of the way he took the time to listen and really always staying on top of what my next milestone would be in my recovery. I cannot say enough for him as well as his staff. In fact, they have become like a family to me and my family.

This past Winter, my wife found herself in the Huntington Hospital ER with an elbow injury from slipping on ice. Dr. Dagly visited us as the outside attending physician with specialization in arm injuries. We didnt know how lucky we were. His approach was professional, pragmatic and informed. We chose to have her surgery completed at their private surgical center on Main Street. It was literally and figuratively miles away from the Hospitals OR. It was luck that Dr. Dagly was covering the ER that AM - we are now so thankful. Six months on, she is fully healed and continuing life as normal. I offer the HIGHEST recommendation for Dr. Dagly.

If you are having issues with your hand go to the Long Island Hand Center. Dr Dagly is a highly skilled surgeon. I dont think any other place for hand issues could have repaired my extensive wrist fractures as well. The entire staff is highly efficient.

Dr. Dagly repaired my ruptured distal bicep tendon, reattaching it to my forearm. As a result, I can now pick up and hold my children again.Stop for a moment and consider the impact his work has had on my life. I can once again pick up and hold my kids.Needless to say, the injury was very stressful and painful. Dr. Daglys bedside manner was excellent: he always took the time to thoroughly answer all my questions and he helped me stay motivated and focused through the 3-month recovery that comes with my injury and surgery. He detailed exercises I needed to do and how to work on improving my range of motion; he even threatened me with a physical therapy prescription if I didnt show enough improvement on my own :)My BCBS insurance was also a nightmare despite my hefty monthly premiums; Dr. Dagly and his office were very patient and helpful, while waiting nearly 3 months for BCBS to pay for the surgery (despite quickly paying for OR / Hospital / anesthesiology). I have nothing but positive feedback for the doctor, and all the staff at the office. Thank you all!
