An unexpected first visit to Dr Richter’s office turned out to be a great experience. Front staff were kind as were the technicians doing the eye exams. Dr Richter himself was welcoming and kind. Listened to my situation and answered all questions. Explained what could be happening with my eye and took his time. Office made my appointment to the specialist and handled an emergent diagnosis with care expediently.

Dr Richter was outstanding!He was very professional and explained step by step what to expect during and after laser surgery.I went from barely being able to see to 20-20 vision in my eye.I would recommend Dr Richter to anyone who has a cataract problem.

Dr Richter and his staff provide exemplary, professional and genuinely caring ophthalmic services. During the occasional longer wait time patients need patience because he and his staff treat each patient on an individual level in an unhurried environment. When a patient leaves his office he/she is confident he/she has received optimal and personalized care. We drive to Huntington from Medford because more than he and his staff is worth the trip, WE ARE WORTH THE TRIP!

Just had my regular visit with Dr. Richter at SightMD. Couldn’t have a better experience. His staff is prompt and attentive. Wait time is usually very short as it was this time. Dr. Richter himself is friendly, but thorough and careful. My wife and daughters use Dr. Richter as well, and feel as good about the service they receive as I do.

They are absolutely top- notch. I wouldn’t trust my eyes with anyone else. There is a bit of a wait to go in to an appointment but worth it.

Doctor was nice, but saw him only for 5 mins after waiting around for 3 hours in the office. Super disorganized/untrained staff. Not an experience I would recommend.

My family has always been processed for evaluation efficiently with each technician being extremely personable and courteous. No matter what issue, we may have with our sight, Dr. Richter puts us immediately at ease and expertly has solved each problem. Dr. Richter is thorough and caring. Dr. Richter takes all the time one needs to have ones questions completely answered.

Difficult to reach office, answering service not very professional !! asking how do you spell doctors name Whats his first name?

Dr. Richter has been my ophthalmologist for the past 20 years. He is intelligent, conscientious, and thorough. I highly recommend him!

Worst answering service of any Doctors office I ever called. You get ten minutes of commercials about how great they are, and how many services they provide. No body picks up. No opportunity to leave a message. Then the ten minutes of self serving commercials repeat themselves. If they can’t answer the phone, how reliable can their other services be????
