Great experience. Got a bone density test. The person doing the test made me feel really comfortable.... they took me on time and everything went smoothly and everyone was friendly an very polite.

Everyone was incredibly nice and thorough and courteous! I waited a little bit longer than I thought but the cleaning process I know takes time. I wish my test was read at the time of the image but I need to wait for the radiologists report. Thank you!

I have been going to this radiology in Huntington and Commack locations interchangeably based on the equipment required.Last week, I went to Huntington location for an MRI on Monday. I had also scheduled a follow up visit with my doctor 6 business days later.I showed up at my doctor visit to go over the MRI results and review my options. I was informed that the report was not ready yet. This is 6 Business days later.I contacted this place thru their portal asking for my report. Someone got back to me in a couple of hours saying that they will have someone do the report right away.I am writing this review 8 business days later and there is still no sign of my report.Make your own conclusions.P.S. the front desk and MRI Tech were great.

Everyone from the front desk to the technicians were inviting, caring, compassionate & make you feel very comfortable! Jennifer & Kathryn were so professional & made me feel relaxed. Very clean, bright and new modern looking office with a staff that stopped at nothing to help me today. I absolutely recommend this place.

The reception was friendly and helpful. I forgot my script and they were very helpful and patient to me. The techs were amazing and made me very comfortable for both my tests. I was in and done very quickly.

I had good experience with Medical Arts, but now that it is Lenox Hill, its a disaster. They scheduled an MRI for me two weeks in advance, never told me I needed to provide any info about metal in my body. They called and days before the MRI and asked me a dozen questions including do I have metal in my body, and I said yes, and they never asked me anything further. The woman who called did not tell me I needed anything other than that. Then at 3 pm the afternoon before an 8 am MRI they leave me a voicemail telling me I need to know what kind of metal is in my body. I called, got routed around the phone system for 5 minutes, and then the woman, who was very nice, told me I need a card stating what kind of metal I have in my body and since I dont have that, they cant do the MRI. No opportunity to be able to get them the info since they let me know the evening before. And thats after they neglected to tell me this any time in the two weeks prior, including during their 15 minute phone inquiry. So now its been two weeks and I have no MRI and I have to go elsewhere. And BTW I told them I have had several MRIs since the metal was implanted and been fine, but they did not care. Their phone system is so lengthy and frustrating.

Once in a great while, a person has a memorable experience doing a rather mundane activity. Ashley, the person who administered my last two sonograms, is a most extraordinary individual. Compassionate, professional (but with compelling warmth), and empathetic to the point of being therapeutic, Ashley demonstrated both technical thoroughness and interpersonal skills to an unparalleled degree. Simply amazing. As for the other visits Ive made here, not a single problem, and not a single person who was less than personable. But as for Ashley, it was the greatest medical interaction of my life!

Most unprofessional, poorly run imaging service I have ever used. And unfortunately I have been to most centers in the ny metro area. They make mistakes with times, reception treats patients like robots and then go back to their loud gum-chewing personal conversations. Two days of two hours per day waiting for the med records dept to answer their phone. Avoid at all costs

I love going to this building for all my tests. They are so professional and very caring. You never feel like you’re just a number. My ultrasound technician was just a doll and very helpful. All my questions were answered with some being answered before I asked. The name has changed to Lenox Hill Radiology but the care remains the same.

I am writing this review fir my husband who is dictating to me. While the technician who performed the scan was excellent and had to overcome a major problem with the equipment, the rest of the experience was less than adequate. Checkin, in spite of pre-check online, took an inordinate amount of time. Perhaps this was due to the staff trying to multitask as they attempted to check the clients in as they handled phone calls and questions from other staff members. The bathroom adjacent to the imaging room was flooded. Oh yes - the appointment was for 1:30 and the procedure didn’t begin until another 40 minutes passed. The technician was very professional and did come out to say that things were running about 30 minutes late.The company contacted us the very next day to express their concerns over our problems. We appreciated their effort.

Tech. Lisa unpleasant to deal with. Argumentative. She got me another tech who was wonderful. Andrea in sonogram lovely. Lack of communication between front desk and mammography desk poor. Each told me different things.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and completely capable. No wait, everything was immaculate, plenty of room to distance and wonderful experience as possible considering it was a mammogram!

Huntington Medical Arts Women’s Pavilion is an excellent place to go for 3D mammograms and sonograms. The staff is friendly and the technicians are professional and kind. The facility is clean and the appointments are staggered well so you don’t have a super long wait. Very good experiences, year after year. Highly recommend!

The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. My wait was about 10 min to be called for my X-ray which I consider excellent especially in comparison with other radiology facilities. The tech taking the X-ray was friendly and informative advising me to wait in the waiting room and they will give me a copy to take to my doctor. My wait was about 10 min again. The entire experience/visit was about 30 min. I was happy I went to Medical Arts and will use them again in the future.

I had the first appointment in the morning. I arrived early. As soon as the staff knew I was there I was taken to the test area and received great care and attention. The procedure was carefully explained including each step and duration. Music of my choice was provided for relaxation and to pass the time. Follow-up details were provided and my primary care doctor was promptly informed of the results of the test as well as the doctor who prescribed the test.

When Making my appointment IO was redirected 3X before someone Helped me. The appointment itself was very good. Very professional, nice waiting area, dressing/gowning area clean and neat. MRI machine I had was very loud, even with ear plugs.

The Huntington location is still very good I have used them for years under the medical Arts name. But the new system used for phone calls and appointments under the Lenox Hill name is terrible , totally automated !!! Where it’s impossible to get a real person on the phone ,lack of personal service and the online appts are difficult to use!

While making the appointment had a bit of a glitch, the actual day of the test was perfectly fine. Check in was smooth, and I was taken for the test within minutes of completing the paperwork. The technician could not have been nicer and explained everything in very simple terms. Overall, a very good experience

Ive always had such great experiences at Medical Arts Radiology! I was given the name of another imaging center but chose to go back to MAR because I know them, they have my records and Ive never had a bad experience with them. Id highly recommend them!

It was very clean and the staff were very nice.

Having had breast cancer 6 years ago, I am usually very nervous when I go in for mammo and ultrasound. I know there are other centers that offer immediate readings and results and just wish MA did too. Otherwise I appreciate the quiet of the area. Staff is very nice and wait times are not long.

Ive had multiple x-rays and sonograms here and have found them to be courteous and professional. I would have given them 5 stars except for one MRI experience where the technician was rather abrupt and not up to par with the rest of the staff. I would still highly recommend this radiology group.

I was an hour and a half late to my first appointment plus I forgot I had it when I called to ask if I could still come in I was not able to that day the lady was very nice about it. Then when I made it to my appointment to days later I went in and had my sonogram and everyone is just very friendly the place is very clean and professional. I like that it is a local it’s right down the street from my home . I also went to weeks prior to have an x-ray on my Ankle And again it was a nice experience. There’s a very large waiting room with plenty of magazines for reading and the wedding. Both times I went or under two minutes.

Building is nice, I had a nice receptionist , technicians for competent. I could not find my ultrasound tech at first but then she did come. My negative comments would be there are no wipes to clean yourself after your exam so that you can apply deodorant. They did have deodorant which was nice. They do not have expanded times to accommodate working women who need ultrasounds with there Mammogram .

Ive been coming to this clinic for the past 10 years. They are very professional and efficient .Its a modern and very clean facility. The staff are courteous and nice. This is the place for all my Radiology exams.

Procedure was not explained when I went to pick up prep like it should have been. Was told I could eat with prep by staff on phone--not true. Wound up canceling procedure day of and having it done at hospital instead. The two stars is for the nice tech who warned me and explained the procedure so I could cancel it.

Found office extremely clean, professional and there was little waiting time, despite the fact that I was a walk-in. They handled my problem courteously and timely. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant.

No one likes to have medical procedures done. But if you have to, Medical Arts Radiology is a great place to get your x-rays or anything else they offer. Staff is friendly and I didnt wait more than 5 minutes. Dont waste your time at the hospital, come here instead.

I’ve used MAR many times. Never had the problems I encountered this time. My 1st appointment I was told they couldn’t tell what MD wanted. My 2nd appointment (already an inconvenience) I was told my appointment had been the previous day (it was not) even though I pointed out that I received a call reminding me of the appointment I knew I had. I reluctantly agreed to return a 3rd time (all this for 1 MRI). Finally the MRI was completed. Not a good experience.

Wait time good! Tech was very good...upbeat..very personable & professional.1 star taken away for bathroom that had no soap in dispenser...no paper towels in dispenser..& hand dry machine did not work.

I had a barium test. The technician did a great job of preparing me for the procedure. It went very fast and was very close to being on time. Just how I like it.

The ladies at the desk were very helpful filling out my forms. The gentleman Mr.Joe that did my MRI was very good I didn’t even feel the injection. This was my first time here and I would recommend it to anyone.

Had an appointment on a Sunday which was extremely helpful. I arrived on time, waited less than five minutes after filling out paperwork and was taken back to mri room. The technician was pleasant and professional. I would definitely go back if more tests were needed and would recommend this radiology office with no hesitation.

Whatever the procedure is, Medical Arts Radiology in Huntington has performed it competently. All the staff on site are respectful, compassionate and competent. The reports are filed promptly and my doctors that ordered the tests trust the results.

The associate worked with you referring doctor closely and arrange additional test while I was waiting for the resull. When it was time for me to take painkiller the associate provided me with Tylenol so that I don’t have to drive home for medicine, because I was in big pain after the fall. I can not thank them enough.

I was in and out within the hr for a stat X-ray...my receptionist Laura was very friendly and registered us quickly. My technician Catherine was great! She was gentle with my injury and was very professional.

The professionalism and staff over all are great. The only issue I have is that its now day 2 and I still have no results? Im in panicked limbo. I spoke to my Dr and he still has not gotten them. Thats not cool. Considering how terrible I feel, and I know they found something!

Service was great. Hispanic girl helped a lot with my paper work and the girl who did my X-ray was very nice to me. Wanted to know if it was possible to get a copy of my Disk for the photo copies?(X-ray)

I was booked for 4 studies on April 12th and I have to say that this office is right on top of things. I was in and out of all 4 studies in approximately 45 minutes and did not feel rushed at all. The staff was great. Glen, Erin and Lisa moved me from one study to the next with precision. The 3 women at the front desk were friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. Definitely recommend Medical Arts Huntington!!!

While the staff was very, accommodating in helping me secure an appointment, Joanne specifically was wonderful, I will say the physical building and office very clean and comfortable. However I wasnt impressed with Michelle the MRI technologist. To begin with when she called my name I continue to speak with me she maintained no eye contact. Second of all while she verified the body part that she would be scanning, she did not verify my date of birth. She glanced at my clothing and said your clothing looks fine---she did not ask if I had an underwire bra, on any piercings, metal grommets on my pants; I was wearing yoga pants and they are known brands to have silver threads throughout this was not questioned or assessed by her. Michelle did not inquire whether or not I was claustrophobic; I am not however I felt her intake was very poor. When she placed me on the table and situated the coils I was surprised that she handed me earplugs to place in my ears. I am a radiology nurse and working within five different modalities in a local hospital; having said that we put the ear plugs in our patients to ensure that their hearing is protected. How did Michelle know that my ear protection would be adequate? Then when Michelle was placing cushions to protect me against the bore of the MRI,she wasnt happy with one cushion and took it and threw it across the room right over my head. I did not feel that was very professional. I tried being friendly towards Michelle and make little conversation to which she did not respond. The lack of her friendliness and engagement towards me was awful. The scan began on one foot- Michelle communicated once and then came in to change the coil to begin imaging my other foot. I had to ask for a blanket as the room is very cold. The imaging of my second foot began and Michelle spoke only once during the scan to let me know how it was progressing.Upon completion Michelle lowered the table for me to get up: I sat up but needed a moment to steady myself-Michelle gave me that moment however I had a few questions and yes while she answered them I felt her response was very quick and yet while I still had questions I didnt feel comfortable addressing them with her. I felt very rushed during the scan.I speak from experience having been a nurse for over 34 years and again working within an imaging department. We treat our patients differently and spend a lot of time reviewing safety with them.I hope something positive can come from this review and learning and changes can take place. I like medical arts its convenient and close however I want to make sure that I am properly care for in the future.

I HAVE BEEN USING MEDICAL ARTS RADIOLOGY FOR A LONG TIME. I RARELY SPEND MUCH TIME WAITING FOR MY APPOINTMENT. RECEPTIONISTS ARE VERY COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. TECHNOLOGISTS ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL.

I had an appointment for a mammography and ultrasound. I forgot my prescription and had to reschedule my appointment.It was my day off. Cindy was kind enough to call me that same day when there was a cancellation later that morning. Excellent customer service!

Reception is a bit of a bear here. I called twice and both times the woman I was speaking too was incredibly condescending and did not even know that Medical Arts Radiology offered infant ultrasounds, which my pediatrician referred us here for. Not a good first impression of the practice. Doctor and staff who performed the ultrasound on our baby the day of our appointment were excellent though.
