I was admitted on 7-31-15. I was put into a freezing cold room with 3 other guys. Was given a peer counselor and had to strip and take a shower and placed in scrubs. I am a insulin dependant diabetic and when dinner came I ask for a diabetic tray. They had NO IDEA what that was. After dinner and 10 or midnight the lights are turned off. Didnt get my bedtime snack that I have to have after I inject my insulin. They have no Doctors or Nurses on staff. Afer lights out the door is shut and no one checks on you till 5 am. Of I had a insulin reaction that early am I would have possibly died. Next am we had a part time staff there that treated me like crap. Very rude and cussed at me for asking if we could listen to some music not watching a show about bombs and death. So after me being 60 years old and a Licensed Nurse--Physical Therapist left against there advice. Got home sat evening went to bed and at 2 am that am, I had a 42 Blood suger(insulin reaction). If I had stayed that night I might have died that morning. NO ONE CHECKS ON YOU TILL 5 AM!! It wasnt for me. They have NO MEDICAL PERSONAL ON STAFF OR IN THE DETOX UNIT. DANGEROUS

If you honestly want to get sober, DONT GO THERE, there are more drugs in there than my son has seen in the past year! People shooting steroids, meth, heroine, workout meds, subs in the bathrooms and the staff just turns their heads. He spent 3 days and asked multiple times for a towel and NEVER got one, so he didnt shower. They dont help you get a job unless you work for them after you complete the program.. they dont help with an education either, which is stupid. Youre only in detox for three days and thats not nearly enough and you have so much free time to run the streets its insane you can literally sneak anywhere and bring anything in because even whenever you come back you do not get searched or drug tested. If you want a good rehab, go somewhere else.

Recovery Point saves the lives of those willing to trust the process that has been laid out for the recovering addict! This is a place for recovery, and growing to be a responsible adult. This is not a hotel that provides comfy beds and clean towels. If your son didnt have a towel its because you did not provide him with one! If your upset that BJ wouldnt return your call; please keep in mind he has about 100 men in different stages of recovery that he is assisting in their journey. Think about how many calls he gets from devastated parents every day! He wants to speak to the person seeking recovery so that he can help them! As much as we like to think we can save our children, only they can save themselves. So before you submit your reviews, you need to get a clue about the recovery process.

We were told to call to get check marks by my sons name so he could be moved up on the waiting list. The men answering the phones were so helpful and told us they had never seen such an overwhelming response for my son. My issue was never getting to talk to the gentlemen in charge named BJ. I called for 3 weeks and have yet to get a call from him. Its now been 2 months and still havent gotten a return call. It was pretty obvious towards the end he was avoiding me. How professional is that? I just wanted to ask a few simple questions. Makes me wonder how this place is being run.

SOME OFF THE PEOPLE THAT ARE ON DRUGS AND ALCOHOL WHEN THEY NEED AND WANT HELP CANT GET IT THEY ARE TOLD THERE.S A WAITING LIST RIGHT ?? THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE ROOMS AND MORE PLACE.S FOR THEM THAT NEEDS HELP..AT LEAST THERE REACHING OUT FOR THE HELP CANT SOMEONE HELP THEM BEFOR ITS TO LATE ??????
