I just went to Dr Solomon for 4 shots in my neck to help relieve pain. First I want to say that he did a good job. However, he and his assistant show no compassion and no empathy for the fear and pain I was experiencing during the procedure. Not one kind word from either one to help ease or comfort me. When the procedure was finished I wasn’t even sure that I was supposed to leave. Neither of them said a kind word. I had to ask if I should leave. Bedside manner may not be a priority for some but it is to me. I am kind and never rude. I had tears coming down my cheeks and neither one of you spoke to me to reassure me. I will never go back to that office.

Radiology department was one of the worse experience that I have. When people choose to be a health care provider is to take care of a patient to provide with the best service and care . I went to do a mammogram and this technician was so rude acting and giving medical advice. She was angry and upset to be there her attitude was disrespectful and finally I couldn’t take it anymore I left sad bc i just spent my time waiting and nothing was done but something else made me feel even worse thinking that our health system is corrupted and destroyed by this type of individuals that shouldn’t be dealing with patients. I left but what about people that have no choice but to deal with this situation.

My family and I have been going to this medical center for over 25 years.We have always received great medical care.Dr. Perillo is one of the finest knowledgeable caring dedicated physicians I’ve known. She listens attentively and is very thorough with her examinations and treatment recommendations.Krystal, the nurse is always pleasant and kind when taking vitals and administering other clinical duties. In addition I’d like to thank her for the time and effort that is required to complete the endless paperwork and documentation.I’d like to also highlight the excellentservice provided by the internal medicine staff. Thank you Diane, Amber and Jennifer for your kind caring approach when answering phone calls, providing information and following up with patient requests.Though we have moved out of the areaI am committed to continue to travel to this office for my medical care.I highly recommend this Internal Medicine office.

They need more handicapped accessible parking spaces. Parking is not ideal most days you must circle parking lot to get a space. When the valet service was available it was still tough but you had the option to let them park

I’ve been coming to NYU Langone since I moved back to Long Island last year. They’re by far the most friendly and efficient team I’ve ever had. My primary care doctor is kind and communicative, and everyone else I’ve seen is the same. Their system is easy and organized, the doctors are honest and knowledgeable, and they’ve got a pharmacy on location so there’s no issue with prescriptions or insurance. I’m so thankful to have their support. Also I just want to say that Dr. Charles in the OBGYN department is wonderful. She saw me today with very little notice and made the whole visit incredibly comfortable and safe. That NEVER happens. Thank you all!

The doctors and medical staff at this facility are competent and friendly. However, the parking lot is a disaster - ridiculously overcrowded. You often have to circle around in the parking lot for 10 minutes or more to find a spot. It has become a real problem.

I recently switched to this practice after I found out I was pregnant. My old practice had rude staff and wouldn’t let my husband in the building with me.I am extremely satisfied with this NYU Location. My new doctor- Dr. Singer- is amazing. The office is clean and everyone from reception to the nurses and PAs are a pleasure to deal with. Wait times are reasonable in my experience so far.The NYU app is amazing. All of my prenatal appointments have been scheduled ahead of time and loaded into the app. Post-visit summaries are posted immediately and test results arrive quickly. I am able to message my doctor with questions and make changes to my appointments.I am very happy I will be spending the rest of my pregnancy here.

Terrible place to go. Went months ago as an outpatient paid cash for my services and now getting billed more money. I called and spoke to someone who made a note about the remaining balance being a mistake and they said it would be taken care of however I still received bills through mail. I Finally received a collections notice and proceeded to call again. This time it was someone saying that someone else in the billing department made the wrong adjustment, but couldnt tell me who or why it hasnt been fixed. If you want mediocre service and to be charged after youve paid or at least leave believing youve paid go ahead. Let it be known I only went to get a referral for a sonogram Its not like she had to do anything other than write me a note, excuse me have someone else type a note for her. The fact that she asked me non relevant questions to probably be able to charge more is beside me. But Now theres an additional charge . I made sure to ask exactly how much it would be as I did not have insurance. But I guess this is how they make theyre money by ripping people off! Thanks for such a distasteful experience!

This place was way better before NYU Langone took over. Now you have updated interior but poor service all around otherwise. From trying to make an appointment to seeing a doctor and everything in between has been a poor experience.

I’m in the waiting room, waiting for a patient and I need to stay connected to work. There is zero Verizon signal here. A guest WiFi is available but it’s useless. First you have to register for a free account and they email and text you the password. How do I get that with no cellular service??? I get it by going outside. Then once connected they block VDI access to my corporate desktop. Support? Non-existent.

(Note: visited the Pediatric Neurology department) Dr. Smith did what no other doctor has ever done: he actually read the documents and previous evaluations I brought. And then he really listened to what I had to say. He went on to ask questions about things I hadnt considered and provided a very thorough, thoughtful diagnosis.In addition, the front desk staff is kind, and the office is clean and kid-friendly.

I only use one doctor there and he is excellent. Was not happy with internist, I go elsewhere for that. Waiting time is like any other office, they are a busy group. Its a perfect, all inclusive set up but is not run very well and the phones are a nightmare.

This is the worst medical center that I have ever encountered, not only do they treat their patients with disrespect they also do not know how to heal or even help them. The doctors are cold, arrogant, and have no bedside manners. The receptionists are also cruel and I have been ridiculed by certain ones simply because I suffer from depression and I have cried. On Friday I had to go to Radiology and Anthony who had done a MRI on me on Wednesday gave me the wrong form to fill out when I corrected him he became angry. He then stayed by the front desk when he was supposed to be treating his patients in his area. He then started whispering with two other coworkers about how crazy and weird I was. They kept looking over at me and laughing, which really hurt. If you want to be treated properly do not go to this horrible place. I wonder how much Doctor-Patient confidential information that they have leaked.

Although I have no complaint with the doctors, the business itself is beyond money hungry. My family has been going there for more than two decades without any payment issues, but that didnt stop them from dunning me with phone calls and sending a minor (less than $200) bill to collection that payment was delayed on because my carrier was awaiting additional documentation (from Langone, not me) to assess the claim. When I complained in writing, I was told to contact somebody else to stop the robocalling. My husband and I have excellent credit ratings and I have no idea if their harsh collection practices will affect that. Whether it does or not, this is a disgraceful way to treat long-term patients with a great history of payments.

Dont go here. They overcharge by a ton, 2000.00 to remove a splinter from one child and 2000.00 to spray some wart removal medicine on another childs foot. This place is clearly takimg advantage of people and placing them in collections as well. Find a reputable doctors office that isnt in it just for the money. Disgusting, places like this are why medical insurance is so expensive. They are the problem!

Leslie Bredes- nurse practioner- emailed me to say my pharmacy was sent my prescription. It was not. Did she lie? Or make a mistake. In either case, this us an incompetent way to treat a patient.I gave 2 stars because I like the other doctors Ive seen at this medical group

Mr Dr. and his staff moved to this facility in January. They are the best of the best!I would have never believed any of these reviews until my Dr. moved to this facility .I have been trying to get a prescription by calling the front desk 3 days in a row and they advised they will call back. No return calls.After third day we went to pharmacy to pick up prescription which was not approved by insurance company. $650.00 for tube and we are still waiting for insurance company to be contacted for approval.I have been trying to fax for 3 days with a no answer lines are busy; front desk tells me they get faxes all day. (so do other major corps, and I get through)I called for a semi emergency appt on Thursday, was told by front desk they will call back: never called back Thursday or Friday - closed Saturday.Pharmacy f

When I moved here over 20 years ago I was satisfied with the pediatrics dept. and opthamologist. However, With 3 children I have spent hundreds of hours there and I can verify that it is filthy, and the office staff is truly unprofessional and uncaring. They need higher standards. Also, when I tried to file a legitimate complaint about a doctors behavior, they told me I was lying and sent me a certified letter prohibiting me from returning. When Mt. Sinai doctors move to Greenlawn Road location I will convert my entire family there. The only truly efficient department is the fabulous family-run pharmacy within the building. They are knowledgeable, and fast and always direct you to the most economical prescription choice.

I have 2 doctors Dr Strogach and Dr Gabbaizadeh who are both great.I was in the hospital and Dr G looked after me almost everyday. The medical care is great. I will agree the phones are a big problem. They need some work there.

Was thrilled to get an appointment with the gastro the same day I called, and now I know why they had such a fast opening. I was scheduled to see the gastro at 4:30pm and of course was told to arrive 15 to 20 minutes early...Got there 10 after and signed in, no one acknowledged that I was even there... They gave me zero papers to fill out and I am sitting there waiting like a douch bag watching everyone go in that came in after me, as I also watch employees leaving. I stood up to get reception on my cell phone and the last 2 women at the counter looked at each other and me in bewilderment... I mean the look on their faces was priceless... I told them i dont know whats going on but I waited over an hour and im getting fkn annoyed... she felt stupid when she finally after an hour decided to look at the scheduling instead of having a social conversation with her co-workers instead of doing their actual jobs. Now I know why they had such fast scheduling because of the lack of disciplined employees that cover the front reception area. I walked out because I was ready to snap! save yourself the bull and go someplace else.

It used to be a great place. Reliable, fast and conviniant but now its horrible. Regardless of what time your appointment is be prepared to wait for an hour Before being called in and another hour between bring seen and discharged. Its such a disappointment, it used to be a hidden gem now its no diffrent from any big place in a big city.

I need all future moms to please AVOID the midwifes at this place; especially Marlyne Charles! She was the worst midwife experience I’ve ever had; for the birth of my 2nd child she was extremely rough and tend to use forse while examining me without warning her patient(me) on what she was attempting to do.Her forseful practice let me into a trauma experience that led into “forced” labor of 16 hours; NO one should allow this lady near them since she won’t listen to what you have to say and will continue with her foresul practice.I’m sorry but last I checked women aren’t some kind of a lab you can experiment on just because you feel like it; Luckely for me my baby wasn’t harmed as for me we are still going to find out 6 weeks from today if my body needs more recovery time; since I felt my body was totally abused and as for mentally I need to say - Thank God for my family’s support and friends as well as the 2 nurses at Whinthrop hospital who basically saved me from going crazy that night. No human should be treated like meat, so please be very careful who you trust since this lady spoke very well but her practice or lock of caused me tramwndous pain!!!! Good luck ladies

Do not go to HMG especially to their internal medicine.Dr. Wishner treats this place like a meat hanger. Before he sees you he already has your prescription written up. If he takes 45 seconds to examine you, he has already spend too much. Your complaint to the administration goes nowhere. All they care about is grabbing your money. They are vicious.Worse than all are the nurses and the staff. They cannot even write well. I asked for a letter to describe my medical condition and they wrote a two sentence letter with four misspelling. This is a very bad place to receive medical attention.Before you do go there please read the reviews written about HMG.

I was way over charged for visits/tests my insurance covers because they purposely used different lab codes that werent recognizedTAKE NOTE: If they ask you if you have any concerns during a routine check up and you say yes, they can charge you for a non-routine visit and they wont tell you this until you get a bill from them.I didnt appreciate how sneaky they were about billing. A visit that should have been free turned into a $250 visit

Gynecology: Providers are wonderful- Especially Peggy Smith NP. Front desk is horrendous and should be fired.2013 – Wait over an hour in the waiting room, then wait 30 minutes in the exam room. Receptionists were rude the entire time. Then to top it off they accidentally charged me $150 instead of $15 for my copay; getting the money back was a run-around in which the receptionists continued to act like animals.2015 – Go to check in, receptionist takes phone call in the middle of me standing there (without saying excuse me & there are 2-3 other receptionists sitting there). While still on the phone receptionist says “you can have a seat I will check you in”. 50 minutes goes by, a nurse from the back comes out and points at me, I then pointed at the clock and stated “I had a 10:45 appt”; the nurse said “sorry we will call you next”. Another 10 minutes goes by, another patient gets called in before me. Finally, once in the exam room nurse states “I am so sorry, they FORGOT to check you in”. To which I replied “well that’s okay because I will NEVER be coming back here again.”Going to this practice is only worth it if you have an entire day to watch people who arrived after you be called in before you. And you like to get treated like garbage by the chatty receptionists.I would like to qualify this review by stating that I am a Registered Nurse who understands the pressures of the healthcare system; I am an informed consumer and not someone who complains for no reason.

I went to HMG a few times for gynecology. I paid my copay in cash. Then, each visit, I waited an hour to be brought back to a room. They had me undress and put on a robe. Then I sat for another 45 min waiting for the gynecologist. The gynecologist, herself, isnt bad. Then 2 weeks later, i get a bill for my copay again and again. Of course, i lost my receipt.Then, my partner makes an appointment with the pulmonologist. The billing or insurance department calls and makes a long drawn out conversation, so my partner just cancels the appointment. Now they have been sending us a bill for the cancellation fee. I called to explain that he had cancelled, but they sent the bill to collections anyway.My experience with the ophthamologist there was the only decent experience I have had there.
