Spend your time and money else where! I understand with Covid-19 going on were all having a difficult time adjusting. Theyre currently open Wed & Sat 11am-1pm. We came on a Saturday and the line was outrageously long due to the 12 person capacity. Once you get in, you only have 30 minutes to shop. THIRTY MINUTES!!?My mom and I have paid and we missed the jewelery section. We were about to buy several pairs of earrings but they kicked us out and claimed that youre only allowed to make one transaction and then leave. If this is the case, then why open the shop at all? The experience was unwelcoming, rushed and the volunteers all dont really care.You can try going on a Wed to see if your experience is any better but there are plenty of other non profit organizations out there that are more welcoming and organized than this place!!

I support the AL 100%. This is an amazing organization of retired (some not) women working together to better the community. They collect donations and sell them at their thrift store and the nicer items at their Galas and 100% OF THE MONEY GOES BACK TO THE COMMUNITY. These are the most unselfish people you will meet, helping out many families and children. I will always be a supporter the the AL. Keep up the hard work ladies!

My favorite local thrift shop, as someone who enjoys sifting for gems. Theres not much in the way of curation and sometimes prices are way off, but that means you can snag some great deals!I give it a C allergy rating. As someone who suffers from dust allergies, I cant stay in here too long without developing a headache. Luckily its small enough for a quick browse.

This is a great thrift store. The ladies (theyre may be men but I have not seen them) are really helpful. I think the items ate somewhat higher quality that the other national chain thrift stores. Hours are limited so cheerful their website for opening times

Decent place to find what are usually reasonably priced glass and ceramic collectibles. Sometimes has vintage designer name brand clothing at good prices. Would be a better place for books if they dropped the price by half and didnt ruin the dust jackets by taping the price tag to them (please, try a pencil on the first page instead). The people working there are nice.

Best Assistance league thrift shop in Orange County! They have a huge selection of clothing, housewares, and kids items. Prices are amazing. I always find so many treasures. Bargain Box has become my addiction. The ladies that work there are very kind and helpful, unlike the ladies that work at the Irvine one. Maybe they can come learn a few lessons from the Huntington Beach Bargain Box.

The people who volunteer to run the store are friendly, helpful & always so nice. I wish they had a bigger selection of plus size clothes & were open more often but it is one of my favorite places to go I love it!

My favorite Assistance League of all time! Every Wednesday which is today its Wacky Wednesday where they have 50% off in the store they have a great boutikeria a great antiques and collectibles area Linens household lots of clothes lots of shoes its just a great day for thrifting on Wednesdays particularly at this one in Huntington Beach on Beach and Slater I wrote a review on the one in newport-mesa which Ive been shopping at for many many years but also stated that the one in Huntington Beach is by far my favorite the staff there they are just constantly in motion and always so happy to get you whatever you want and if you love thrifting you should go to the Assistance League in Huntington Beach theyre open I believe Tuesday through Saturday but check because each one has different days of closure.

Me and my mother go to the Assistant League all the time it is one of my favorite thrift stores in HB because the volunteers are all very help full and they have very nice clothing and brands.

Great charity that raises money that helps local poor people. Its a great place to donate your stuff and they give you a donation receipt so you get a tax donation for your items
