Met with doctor Garcia for the first time and have NEVER felt more uncomfortable with a doctor. His demeanor was very accusatory and demeaning. He was rude, impatient and made me feel like I knew nothing about my health history. If he knew how to use technology he would have been able to look up all my test with a click of a button. Instead he made me explain everything while doubtfully questioning me the entire time. I have NEVER felt more dismissed by a doctor. I will never visit this doctor again! I don’t mind direct doctors but his bedside was just plain awe full!! So bad i felt the need to review him.

Went there with my wife and he was super respectful about me joining but 100% made sure my wife was okay with me being there which speaks volumes about his professionalism and respect of privacy for his patients. 10/10 would recommend.

I was new to the area and super nervous about finding a new primary care physician, but after meeting Dr. Garcia and his staff I felt really comfortable. Will 100% recommend my friends here!

Extremely disappointed. Made me lose faith in him and Hoag.Ive only ever known Kaiser through my HMO but my work offered a PPO so I tried it. Since I havent had a physical in a couple of years, I made an appointment with Dr. Garcia. I had no idea how much discussing my health history would cost me.While waiting, I filled out a questionnaire. This was the trap. I waited and got called in his office. The nurse came in and asked if the reason for my visit was for a preventative check-up. I had no idea what he was talking about and just told him I was in for a physical and STD screening since its been a couple of years since my last check up.Doctor came in and I told him the same. Naturally, I felt comfortable and I feel like I got lured into talking about some underlying health issue. Even though I was not experiencing any symptoms, I open up because I thought it would be helpful for who I thought could be my new doctor to know. Later I find what I said will be used against me.He ordered some lab work and I later find that one of tests was not covered. Almost 100$ for that. This prompted me to ask about what Im getting billed for. To my surprise, the less than 5 minute conversation I had with Dr. Garcia about my underlying issue was going to be billed as well. I have no idea what Im on the hook for yet. I estimated almost 200$. This visit will have costed me about 300$. Not at all what I expected for a routine physical/preventative visit; a visit that should have been 100% covered by my PPO insurance.I feel like I got taken advantage of. I guess now I know that some doctors care more about how much money they can bring in than genuinely take care of their patient.I filed a complaint for the principle.

Dr. Garcia always takes his time and patience with me and never rushes me and has been very understanding in a lot of very stressful situations for me that I have been going through there’s also the same time he helps me get stronger in these situations and he’s an excellent physician
