I am a high school runner and was experiencing achilles pain for months. After reading her reviews and watching Dr Sara’s content in social media we decided to schedule an appointment with her even thou it was more than an hour drive. Before the initial consultation I filled out a very detail form explaining my problem by the time of my first appointment Dr Sara knew my background and started working with me for over an hour. She’s very knowledgeable, she listens to her patients and she makes you feel comfortable to talk to her. At my first appointment she suspected it was not Achilles but a nerve problem. I went home worked on the exercises she gave me and she was correct! Within a few days I saw an improvement. I followed the exercises and stretches in two weeks the pain was almost gone. In four weeks I was running pain free! Dr Sara goes above and beyond to help her patients.

Over the last year, I have been working up to be in the best shape of my life, and as a result, I have encountered several blocks along the way with my body. Dr. Van Dyke was incredibly attentive to my issues with heel pain that she was able to trace to my low back due to my increased physical demand. I am on my feet many hours of the day, and through a series of virtual visits including home exercises, my issue resolved completely. I even felt a quick 50-75% improvement after two to three days of performing the exercises she prescribed! It was amazing to see how she could strongly influence my pain without even needing to be in person!! I can only imagine what it would be like to visit her physical location as well. I trust my pain to Dr. Sara and am thankful for her knowledge of functional chiropractic care!

Before going to see Dr. Sarah, I was having resigning feelings that I could potentially have to let go of the possibility of running again & other types of workout now limited. I had a nerve issue on my foot that was aggravated by a source of PT that nearly damaged the nerve additionally. I felt it 24/7 and with every step I took. Lunges, KB swings, weighted squats, etc., compromised. I had, had a couple cortisone shots from a podiatrist that had helped, but it felt like my nerves were twisted and I had no pinky toe strengthDuring my first visit I felt a glimpse of positivity by Dr. Sarahs demeanor and right away she made it clear her goal was the quicker she would not have to schedule with me the better. The opposite of what most Dr.s would tell me. At the end of my visit, after some assessing and manual manipulation, I could lunge with no pain. I literally teared up immediately.I continued to see her and each visit just got better.After 2 visits, I was able to run 3/ea 4 mile heats within 48 hour time span. Unfortunately I twisted the opposite ankle 2 days later. BUT she had me running again in no time.Though my sessions came to an end shortly after, I will continue to see Dr. Sarah to make sure things stay where they are at. I cannot thank her enough for her time, patience and help

Sara is amazing at what she does! I hurt my back while running at the beginning of 2020. I thought it would go away on its own but it just kept getting worse. I went to another chiropractor at first but my back wasnt improving. I asked Sara for help at the beginning of 2021 and did all the exercises she recommended. The pain started going away in about 2 week of doing the exercises and now I can say by back doest bother me anymore... Strongly recommended!

Dr. Van Dyke was able to help me through one of my longest lasting injuries and most limiting injury. My injury was a herniated disk causing sharp pain running down my leg from my low back which prevented me from being able to do any physical activity. Dr.Van Dyke was able to help me overcome this injury from a heavily exercise rehab treatment which allowed me to do my own rehab on my own time every day to speed up recovery and save on costs from visiting a chiropractor 3 times a week versus once a week. I would highly recommend Dr.Van Dyke to anyone who is looking to overcome a new or long term injury and who has motivation to do what it takes rehab every day make your weaknesses strengths.

I am a high school distance runner and I have been dealing with IT Band issues. Sara met with me over zoom and gave me strength and stretching exercises to do. I was able to run without IT Band pain within a few days. I continued to meet with her and 2 weeks later I was back to 100%. Sara is also a runner so she was able to understand everything I was trying to explain to her. She was able to help me understand not just what is causing me pain, but also why, so I can prevent it in the future.

I’m an elite marathoner who has been running competitively for 10 years. I ran 6 marathons from December 2018 - February 2020 trying to get into the Olympic Trials. During that time I was running up to 120 miles per week at points and developed a chronic hip impingement that I was essentially ignoring for the sake of competing— favoring the one side led to a stress fracture in my opposite foot. In the last few months I’ve been working with Sara on the discrepancy in hip stability/strength that we identified as the issue, which has helped me get relief both in my foot as the bone heals and the hip impingement that is letting me get back to training like I was before the trials after over a year.

I came to Dr. Van Dyke with pain and pinching on the outside of my ankle, right behind the outside ankle bump, when I pointed my foot. I’m a competitive trail runner doing 40-60MPW so not being able to point my foot without pain was a huge hinderance! Many doctors looked at this problem and Dr. Van Dyke was the only one to diagnose it correctly as a sural nerve stretch injury, despite other medical professionals incorrectly concluding I had peroneal tendinitis/tenosynovitis. She treated the nerve injury correctly, efficiently, and without hassle. She tailored my treatment to my goals and life-related restrictions, which made the rehab totally doable instead of a huge, time-consuming burden. Dr. Van Dyke made it a point to keep me running as much as possible as we worked together to manage the total load on my body- she made it so I didn’t have to take any time off. I was out of pain in a few weeks and was back out on the mountain trails feeling 100% in no time at all! Previously, when I had this problem on the other foot, I had countless injections, forced complete rest from running (none of which helped), and almost surgery, and it took over a year to resolve. This time, with her help, it was a matter of a few weeks!!! I’ll be sending all the XC/track athletes I coach to Dr. Van Dyke!

I am beyond grateful that I found Dr. Van Dyke. I injured myself 2 years ago in the gym...lower back and sciatic issues. I saw several Chiropractors that never really listened to me and only provided temporary relief. The pain would always return. After my last flare up, I was desperate for help. I found Dr. Van Dyke on YouTube and listened to what she had to say. I knew she was different and would be able to finally heal me fully and properly. From the moment I met her, she really listened to my story and understood the pain that I was feeling. I could tell that she would do everything possible to help me. The difference that I felt, from my very 1st visit, was like night and day. We established a clear plan of action and as long as I do the homework that she gives, Im improving every day. My low back pain has disappeared and my sciatic issues are diminishing considerably. And, Im running again! I feel like Im finally on a permanent road to recovery. Dr. Van Dyke is a genuinely kind and knowledgeable Dr. If youre in pain, definitely go see her. I know shell be able to help you, the same way she helped me.

I had calf pain in both my legs that would not go away for about a month. I tried various exercises and even took time off from running but the pain was still there. It just seemed to be getting worse. After working with Dr. Van Dyke for three weeks, the pain went away! This is the second time that she has brought me back from a stubborn injury. The best part was that I didnt even have to take a single day off while working with her! Oh and get this: it was all through Zoom! If youre feeling any kind of pain and would like to work with someone who wont just say take some time off, then Dr. Van Dyke is your best option!

I made an appointment with Dr. Sara because I had been experiencing pain in both of my achilles for about a year. Before seeing Dr. Sara I thought the pain must be originating directly from the achilles tendon. However, after examining me and having me perform a few exercises, Dr. Sara explained the pain was probably nerve related which I would have never figured out on my own. She gave me some pre-workout exercises to help alleviate the pain as well as some exercises to correct and strengthen the issue in the long term. I am very grateful for Dr. Saras knowledge and for how much she cares about helping her patients. My pain has gotten much better and has been much more manageable since seeing her and getting her advice. I highly recommend anyone who needs some help and some answers to go see her because she will help you discover the root of the issue and it will prevent you from wasting your time doing things that are useless for improving your pain. Dr. Saras passion and care for her patients is unmatched!

A week after my car accident, I came to DASH for neck discomfort and extreme tightness. I couldnt even tilt my head from side to side easily. After meeting with Dr. Van Dyke, she was able to come up with a treatment plan, perform some treatment in house and give me a few home exercises as well. Needless to say I feel great today! So if you are looking for a Chiropractor that will truly listen to what you have to say and will come up with a designated treatment plan to work with your needs and wants, then go to DASH! Each of my three visits felt genuine and she really took more than adequate time with me, so I never felt rushed in or out.

Sara is awesome! I have had long term issues with what I described as hamstring/hip issues. I felt like I could not extend my leg out to a full stride without pain. Sara quickly recognized it as nerve related issue. She gave me several exercises that immediately provided relief! She also provided me with numerous strength exercises to help avoid having the same issues reoccur. I am a competitive crossfiter that came to Dr. Van Dyke a month before one of my crossfit competitions last year. I was unable to lift my arm due to a shoulder injury. I didnt think I would be able to compete in my compitition let alone complete the 8 events! Doctor Van Dyke gave me workouts to not only get my shoulder feeling good enough to compete, she also gave me workouts to strengthen it.I had to see Dr. Van Dyke again recently for some pain that would flare up in my elbow whenever I did some Olympic Lifting and she was able to pinpoint the problem and have the pain gone within 2 weeks! We are still working together on strengthening my shoulders and elbows but I feel better than ever!! Doctor Van Dyke knows her stuff and wants to help you feel your best, so that you can perform your best!

Having back and neck issues has been a big part of my life, it has landed me into chiropractor appointment after chiropractor appointment. I recently went to Dr. Sara with neck pain and major headache issues and after just 2 visits I honestly felt better, Dr. Sara worked with me and gave me tips to help me in ways that genuinely made me feel better. Never have I felt more mobile. Turns out from all the running and long distance stuff I had a hip impingement. 😳 truly appreciate Dr. Van Dyke for getting me back to being pain free and nimble. Its one thing to feel better at the clinic but it’s another thing to maintain that outside of it. I was able to keep the pain away through a few exercises she recommended. Definitely check our dash chiropractic if you feel a little off from running. Think it’s really important to look for a professional who truly understands the movements your body go through regularly.

I had been struggling with knee pain for almost 7 months before I finally convinced myself to see a physical therapist. I had one virtual consultation with Dr. Sara Van Dyke and while I felt like it was going to be impossible to figure out what was wrong with me, she gave me ONE exercise that fixed my knee pain completely! Her knowledge and expertise is unbelievable. I only wish I went to see her earlier.When I ended up getting back pain a month later, she was able to assess my pain and give me a couple exercises to fix it. What I really valued was that she explained what each exercise was doing and how it was going to improve my back injury and my overall strength. She has also prepared me with the knowledge and training plans to prevent injuries in the future which is very important to me. As a regular runner, usually tacking distance, I have utilized chiropractic care at least twice a month, if not once a week. Once Covid hit, I no longer felt comfortable with in-office visits, and have been struggling with a lot of discomfort for what was almost a year. In most of my jobs I also find myself hunched over the workspace.Enter Sara! We started following each other on IG and I was super intrigued by the idea of working with a chiropractor with a running background. Finally someone who wouldnt talk me out of my long distance and ultra marathon goals!We did a virtual assessment and over zoom she was able to figure out my trouble spots. Sara gave me rehab exercises to do over the week, and believe me, I was skeptical. How could this take the place of an in-house adjustment?I am a believer. All in all, we had 4 appointments, with her giving me new exercises based on what was not feeling great. A creaky knee, a tight hip, an inflexible neck - I cant believe how great I feel. My runs have been stronger and I feel less stiff in the mornings. Plus I know exactly what to do to get that creaky knee stronger. Thank you so much Sara! Im blown away, and I loved our sessions!

Dr. Sara is the absolute best! She’s one of the only people that I trust to take care of whatever problem is going on with my body. She focuses on what your body truly needs and cares about your recovery. I’m not the most active individual, but Dr. Sara has found movements that have already greatly decreased the amount of pain that I am in.In addition, she’s the only chiropractor that has ever been able to successfully adjust my neck with ease and grace.Dr. Sara is easily the best Chiropractor in all the land. I was having pain issues in my right knee for a few months. I stopped running during that time to see if it would help but surprisingly it did not. A month later of trying different things, I eventually saw Dr. Sara Van Dyke. At first I was skeptical being my first Chiropractor visit but that’s cause I didn’t know what to expect. All I know is, I’m glad I came in! We immediately tried different exercises based on Sara’s diagnostics on my knee. Within 2 weeks I started seeing actual results! Now keep in mind none of these treatments will work unless you put the work yourself. I did everything that was recommended to me and It worked! As time went by the pain started to decrease more and more. I am so relieved cause it honestly felt like it was never going to go away. I never had an injury last this long before. Finally it went away completely! Thank you Sara for all of your hard work. I am truly happy with my results. You are kind and truly care about your patients. Doctor VanDyke is brilliant! I have a long-standing running injury that I still need surgery for. Working with her for just a couple weeks has helped more immensely than anything else I have tried. I have a bone spur on the bottom of my left foot. This has made my ankle very weak overtime. It has caused constant ankle turning, and spraining. She showed me several different movements and exercises to rebuild strength and it helped so much! My ankle feels so much stronger than it has in the past 5 or 6 years. The initial consultation I had with her was virtual and she was still able to make an accurate assessment of my issue. I HIGHLY recommend her services!

I went to DASH Chiropractic after struggling with pain behind my knee while running. Dr. Sara during our first session decided I was dealing with a nerve based injury and taught me a few exercises that I took home with me. After just a couple days I was running again. In my first zoom visit, Dr. Van Dyke was able to diagnose my injury and prescribed a simple stretch that eliminated my pain. Ive been struggling with Achilles heel pain and stiffness for 6 years that prevents me from running and hiking. I even had surgery on it 3 years ago that provided minimal relief. I thought I had tried everything and accepted I would live with this pain for the rest of my life. But on my first visit, I was shocked that my pain was nerve related and a simple series of stretches and exercises (all through zoom!) have me feeling 100% better! I am a professional mid distance runner and I was struggling with achilles tendonitis and pain that was keeping me from being able to train. I had one virtual session with Dr. Sara and she provided a diagnosis for what was causing my pain and gave me a plan for recovery, which gave me so much hope! Within about a week, the exercises she prescribed already started making a difference and I was able to start running again. I am now back to almost my full training load and I feel like I understand my body and how to prevent this happening again in the future. What an amazing experience . I have had shoulder and neck pain due to trauma in my past for over 8 years. I had gone to a P.T. And was told I had permanent nerve damage which I took hard since I am a very active person. When I came to Sara Van Dyke, DASH Chiropractic. Not only did Sara give me hope again, but was able to give me the tools to help fix and enable the pain. She did a full assessment on my daily movement and checked up on me weekly. Her experience, knowledge, and personable character is what made the experience incredible. Well worth the drive and weekly appointments. I now have no pain and feel physically ready to go after my goals.

I came to Sarah with awful upper back pain that was not being relieved. She took a lot of time to help me figure out what triggered it, and exercises to help relieve it. I only had 4 or 5 sessions with her and my back still feels great. I would highly recommend her at DASH chiropractic.

I came to Dr. Sara van Dyke with a number of running injuries including Achilles problems. Over the years, I have kind of assumed that Achilles problems come with the territory of running and that these are difficult to treat. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of Sara’s methods. She is extremely knowledgeable about injuries and connected my foot problems to a number of weaknesses that can be addressed by specific strength exercises. Overall, I found Sara’s help to be tremendously helpful – it put me on a path of running pain free. Highly recommended.

I’ve become an expert at injuring myself, thankfully I’ve got Dr. Sara to come to my rescue. Her understanding of human physiology is pretty remarkable. After an assessment, she’ll give me a movement or stretch to do, and no matter how odd it seems, I’ll do it and wah-lah, my back doesn’t hurt/my leg feels better/I can stand up straight/etc.Post injury recovery, I’ve got a regiment of exercises she’s given me to target my week points.

I have had back issues off and on for the past 12 years and have seen 4 chiropractors. When the chiropractor I was seeing moved out of state I was referred to DASH Chiropractic. I met Sarah and was impressed with her passion for my health and her attention detail of what was bothering me. DASH is not your typical rack em and crack em chiropractor, they focus on movement and strength which allows you to be in control of your own health. After just a couple days of the prescribed First Aid I was already feeling a lot better and my range of movement increased ten folds. By a few weeks I was moving on from First Aid to strength workouts and working on doing what is necessary to be back pain free. I highly recommend Sarah at DASH to anyone looking to take control of their health. Because of Sarah I dont need to rush to a chiropractor when I tweak something or start to have back issues. I am able to use the exercises she taught me for pain relief and strengthening.

I first sought out treatment for pain in my left hip and found Dr. Sara Van Dyke was not only able to find the issue, but spent time ruling out any other causes and found multiple imbalances that were causing other pains as well. Sara is very knowledgeable and explains everything very thoroughly during the assessment. I was a student athlete in college and this was my first time having to cover my own medical expenses and I found Sara’s prices were very reasonable! I walked in limping and was able to not only walk normally, but run later that day too. I also went to Sara for a strain in my hamstring and she spent time pinpointing the exact spot of pain and found the cause right away! Sara sent me home with exercises and I was able to run again within a few days pain free! No matter the injury, I always know I can go to Sara and she will get me back to running! If you are struggling with an injury and can’t find the solution, go to Dr. Sara Van Dyke! She will do everything to get you back on the track/trail/field/court as quickly as possible!

I had a groin injury for approximately 2 months before seeing Dr. Van Dyke. I had been treated by two other chiropractors who were able to manage my symptoms, but were not able to get rid of my pain. After my first session, I was able to run further than I had in months with minimal pain! Four sessions in, and I was completely healed! Dr. Van Dyke was really good at keeping me accountable for doing exercises at home, which I think made a huge difference in my speedy recovery. She also used novel methods in treating my injury, which not only helped me heal, but also made me a more efficient runner! She was also able to help me work on my kettle bell swings and dead lift form, which I can do more efficiently, without hurting myself! Seeing Dr. Van Dyke was the best decision I could have made!!

When I first started working with Dr. Sara Van Dyke, I was dealing with a multitude of hip/mobility issues and some Achilles pain that popped up after coming off running the US Olympic Trials (marathon). Sara was super thorough in conducting a full body exam test to see what could be the cause and she assigned me a set of exercises each week to keep up with and strengthen my hips and back. She was super persistent in figuring out the root cause of my Achilles pain, and in conducting all sorts of mobility tests. Ive been dealing with achilles something discomfort since running in college and after many different tests and exercises, we found a few that have seemed to do the trick! I havent had any pain since working with her (its been a couple of months of work) and Ive set a couple new PRs while time trialing pain free!:) Sara really cares about figuring out the source and in following up with you. She also cares about your well being and is extremely knowledgeable. I found it easy to trust her during the process and in following her exercises; this is in large part due to her also being a former collegiate runner/current elite runner as well. She knows her stuff!! Go see her! Shes the best!!:)

My right shoulder was weak and hurt when lying in my right side and doing side plank.After explaining my symptoms, Sara thought it was more to do with my neck and showed me how to do two specific exercises, which I did for about 2 weeks. I have been great for the last 3 months! Thanks Dr. Sara!
