I have been going to Anointed Bodyworks now for over ten years, John does an excellent job every time. He knows what pressure to apply and where. With shoulder surgery two years ago he even came to my home to assist prior to C19. He is very sincere and a hard working individual he always goes above and beyond to make sure I am at ease and pain free.

John was amazing! Not your typical Massage Therapist BUT WHO CARES! His massage was the best one I have ever received. He is super smart and obviously is passionate about his career. I was totally relaxed and enjoyed every minute of it. I would definitely recommend him to others. Just go, laid down, close your eyes, and enjoy! What a great guy that owns this company - very impressed! :)

John is amazing. He listens to me when I have trouble spots and always willing to work on those spots first. I have been going here almost 2 years and will continue going. Ive been getting massages for decades and have had the good fortune of seeing John at Anointed Bodyworks every 2 weeks for the past 5 years and have rarely missed an appointment. Knowing my condition and how important massages are to me, if necessary to miss an appointment, John has always done his best to accommodate me.As a health care practitioner myself, I can attest to the holistic nature of massage and its many benefits. I would also stress the importance of finding an experienced professional. John started with a complete assessment of my history and mutual expectations at our first meeting. The dialogue remains ongoing with consideration of any changes during subsequent visits. Beyond this, I would add that as a therapist, John is intuitive and offers suggestions based on findings I may not be aware of. Unlike some practitioners, John spends every minute delivering his service for the time allotted while ensuring my personal comfort level.I appreciate the many different modalities he offers and am happy to refer him to those I know. I hope our professional relationship continues for a long time.

An amazingly relaxing experience. Just got a prenatal massage at 38 weeks. John has a pregnancy massage table, so no lying on your side as youd have to at almost any other place in the area. Hes a very relatable, down-to-earth guy and I immediately felt comfortable. Will be back soon!

Very unprofessional. I felt uncomfortable after he called me cupcake. John was late for the appointment. I had to call and text several times before I got an answer. The building was a shared business building that looked like a house, but no one else was in the building. It was unlocked and empty when I arrived. I didnt feel comfortable being alone in the building with him after he showed up and was rude and disrespectful to me. There are so many professional massage therapists that will treat clients with respect in a professional environment. Dont waste your time with John at Anointed Bodyworks Massage.

I regularly make massage appointments with John, and every massage is amazing! His massages have taken away my shoulder and sciatica pain. I feel very comfortable during the appointment, and I feel so much pain relief afterwards! Highly recommend.

I booked a Groupon based on the reviews. However, when I called the masseuse had a pre-recorded message about a family emergency and not being able to schedule any appointments until after the new year. Things do come up and I do understand that. I would suggest that he remove the Groupon until he is operating again. I was unable to wait that long as the value of the Groupon would have expired. Luckily, I was able to return the Groupon for another item.

I have an expired $35 Groupon that should count as a credit. Lady tells me they charge $30 for expired Groupons. I say its only worth $35 and she says well it could be a lot more expensive. Great customer service! Screw this joint.

Great Deep Tissue Massage. Very professional. Took all the knots out. Will be back again for sure. Highly recommended. Recommended my son for post shoulder surgery massage as well. Looking forward to my next massage.Andy P

I have been going to John for years now (along with 6 of my other close friends). He is awesome. The people that gave the bad reviews booked appointments (one twice) and then never showed or called so John charged them after the second one (justifiably so). He could have had another customer during that time slot. Only common courtesy to call if you cannot make it (even if an hour before so he can call people who are on a waitlist). I highly recommend him. Only $42 if you buy a package of 3. Amazingly low pricing.

Horrible customer service. Do not spend your money with John. He will not honor your prepaid massages if you have to cancel. He is not flexible and they way he treated me was awful. I would not recommend him. There are much more professional masseuse in the LKN area. Horrible, Just Horrible!

My wife and I think John is AWESOME. He knows how to really target those problem areas.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! The therapist stood me up for my appointed. He did not apologized and yelled at me and said it was my fault. He was very unprofessional and acted like he was doing me a favor. I have never been treated in such a manor.
