Beautiful place and sightseeing! Home of the Breadfruit annual festival!

La Loma is a special place. With an amazing view of the whole Southeast of the island, this place is run by its own community. Through the year they have different activities, with the Festival de la Pana being the biggest celebration that takes place on the first week of September.

The only corduroy festival of its kind. All guests. From suckling pig stuffed with corduroy. Corduroy pizza, bacalaitos, frapes. Corduroy lasagna. Corduroy filling. Anyway, everything related to corduroy. Quiet environment with parking. Humble and simple people. Part of our Puerto Rican culture. The corduroy is introduced to Puerto Rico to feed the slaves as a cheap fruit. Corduroy comes from the Maluku Islands of the Philippines.

It is a normal field hill like any other in Puerto Rico but the pana festival of this year 2019 was very good. Good dishes based on corduroy and good music.

A great place, with beautiful people ... The food that is offered in La Loma is exquisite ... The girls who make the food do it with love and a lot of jocosity .... I love visiting them ....
