I brought my son in yesterday for a broken leg. The doctors and nurses were comforting and kind and did a fantastic job taking care of my baby. We did not have to wait long at all, which we were very thankful for. Great place.

I took my 4 month old to be seen as he had a 101.5 fever, wouldn’t eat and wouldn’t sleep. He was very fussy and he isn’t a fussy baby. The receptionist was very nice and got the nurse since my infant had a fever. The nurse came out and she was incredibly rude. I have been to this facility on two prior occasions and didn’t have this issue. She wouldn’t take my baby’s temperature and told me if we weren’t in by 9:30 then my baby couldn’t be seen. It was 8pm at the time and I was told there was over a 2-hour wait. We were refused being seen by a doctor. My 4-month old had to leave and deal with the pain. The nurse continued to say the hospital had 40 people waiting so not to waste my time. I’m sickened by this miserable woman and I will be seeking an advocate. She should get a different job if she can’t be kind to people in stressful situations.

Doctor Bream was fantastic. Very nice and thorough. Clean urgent care and the wait wasn’t too long even though they were pretty busy around the holiday. Lovely staff.

We’ve taken both of our kids here several times for strep, pink eye, etc., and have always had a wonderful experience. The doctors and nurses are friendly and great with kids. They always take the time needed to fully evaluate and treat their patients.

Came here with tibia and fibula fractures, because we were right around the corner. No help whatsoever. Wanted us to “sign in” before any help was given (aside from an ice pack)Ended up calling the Hudson EMS they were great! Applied a splint (An air splint I think) to my leg, gave me some very effective pain killers and transported me to the ER in Akron.

The office staff and nurse who saw my daughter were very nice, and the wait was only about 30 minutes. The doctor who saw my daughter was very rude, though. The doctor dismissed our concerns (despite her regular pediatricians recommendation that she be seen), told me that she just had a cold without examining her, and then told me hed run the test we were requesting but that it wouldnt matter because if positive, the only reason to treat the suspected illness is to protect other people from catching it. He then examined her very quickly and told me the same things hed already said. When he left, my daughter said that he had pushed really hard on her with his stethoscope to the point that it was painful. Beyond that, she is old enough to understand that the doctor was acting irritated that we had come in. I am very disappointed with the care my daughter received.

It was very good. But our recent experience was a nightmare. More than 3 hours waiting before seeing the doctor is too long for an urgent care especially when there was only one family before us. I heard the nurses chatting and laughing while we were waiting in the small room for about half an hour. My baby was crying and couldnt sleep because of the noises they were making. Then the doctor came, quickly examed my baby, wrote the prescription and then left. I didnt feel she wanted to spend more time to listen or explain. If she were in a rush to all her patients, how could she just check one family in 3 hours?! When we finally got in the car, the doctor and nurses also left the building heading to the parking lot. We were the last family checking out.

Front desk and triage nurses are great but that is as far as Id give compliment. The doctors dont seem to be very good with children and dont do their due diligence as far as making sure you can get your prescriptions fast. Make sure you get your blue slip and have them call it in. Thing change fast with kids. Every time we go here we end up at an er anyway so if you think you need the ER just go and skip this. Not any cheaper and care isnt as thorough.

Akron Childrens At Hudson has always been quick & accurate no matter which Doctor my child has been seen by or what his cause of going has been. From stitches to strep they have always been kind and accurate.

The staff is so sweet, always timely. Only place I take my kid! I wish they were open earlier than 2pm during the week.

Went to Akron Childrens Urgent Care in Hudson for the first time. it was a good experience. staff were all friendly. definitely a better option than going to the ER for something minor.

My child had a bloody nose that would not stop. As I called in to ask if they take that kind of stuff they told me yes. As I take my child in and get to the room the dr was very rude, said they do not take that kind of issue. As he stood at the door while my child bleeds and send us out. I will never again take my child to this location as the dr was completely useless and disrespectful!

Usually have good luck until tonight. Open until 5:30, my husband went with my son with croup at 4:30 the receptionist said they were no longer checking people in since it was busy, but welcome to wait. Another parent and child were also there waiting under the same circumstances. At 5:30, the other parent and child were taken back but my husband and son were kicked out. Drove out to montrose for a 2 hour wait to spend 60 seconds with a doctor to get a steroid. Shame on this facility for throwing out a sick child that was there an hour prior and if you can’t accept patients an hour before closing then lock your doors! Akron Childrens- your quality of care is slipping and your bedside manner is discouraging.

Great alternative if pediatrician cant get you in

Showed up 5:25pm with a sick child and they were supposed to be open till 5:30pmThey closed 5 min early I was standing right by the front door and they wouldn’t let me in . I called and spoke with Tracy Hanes and she said that their computers shut down and she couldn’t let me in ... THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Do your job !!!! NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN
