I would never recommend this place for wedding hair or makeup. My sister had a booked trial set for her and a group of bridesmaids which they then had to reschedule for another day which was 3 weeks after the original trial date. Once my sister arrived to the trial, the person doing her makeup didn’t even know which day her wedding was although it was mentioned several times prior to the trial. She brushed it under the rug and avoided talking about their availability that day of the wedding. She then sat there rushing through the makeup trial which was fine but wanted to leave the bride with an extremely harsh line of dark on her cheek until we asked her to fix it. However, the lady that did her hair trial was the only good think about this place and actually took time to do my sisters hair and was so sweet. We were instructed to call the next day after the trial to officially book the wedding date and when my sister was finally able to reach them, she was told that they double booked this day and were no longer available. Not a single apology was made to the bride for causing this much stress who now had to scramble to find another team to do our hair and makeup. At least take ownership of the situation and figure out ways you can prevent this from ever happening again to a bride but not even that was done. Shame on you guys.

Please, dont. Just dont do it. I am currently getting my microblading corrected and the studio cant believe what Brooke did to my eyebrows. The color, the shape, everything. I also had lashes put on at one point and had to have those corrected. The first time I did microblading, it was awesome. Now, she has gotten sloppy and its a brow mill operation. It should take way longer than ten minutes for a visit, regardless of how experienced the guru is. I used to really enjoy my visits, but Brooke got way too big, too quickly and her work has gotten relaxed. I thought that she had a good thing going with the fun location and setup of her studio, but I am not impressed anymore. I think there are so many other classy, well respected studios that you can go to and get what you pay for. This isnt one of them. I just feel cheap and taken advantage of when I leave there, which is why I wont ever be back.PS: Also, dont try and mention anything or express a concern, because she has a ton of minions on social media who are obsessed with her and will attack you for expressing any genuine concern about her or her work.In response to your very sincere remarks below, Brooke, you know exactly who I am. I came to you for over two years. Nice reply, trying to dismiss a review by acting dumb and like I’m not in your “system”. I’m definitely not a competitor and don’t do brows. There was hair everywhere and she made comments about how she barely ever cleans it up! I asked for a balayage hair dye and she only bleach my whole head! She didn’t even use toner! It’s horrible!!!! I will never be back!!

I had a very pleasant experience during my time here. My daughter nominated me for a makeup lesson for Mothers day and I was treated to just that by Alex, she was wonderful! She asked what my goal was to gain from the experience and preceded to explain every step of the process allowing me time to ask questions. The brushes were phenomenonal and I will likely return for some of the eye makeup that was used. I felt very comfortable here, and if you knew me youd know that means A LOT! I love BB Cosmetics. Bailey knew that I was a firm believer in my MAC cosmetics but found the perfects colors for me at BB and I decided to give it a try. Within 72 hours my lash extensions are off. Being a business owner myself I would never leave someone in the dark feeling unsatisfied especially when if they had a reaction like I did. I have styes on both of my eyes and have never had them before. No one offered to help me remove them, or refund me. I had to do it myself. If this would have been weeks after happening, I would understand no refund, but this happened within hours of being applied to my healthy lashes. I did this for a little pampering before Mothers Day, and Im left with puffy eyes that are infected. This review may have been differently if they showed an ounce of compassion to help me out.Im guessing cleanliness is the cause to this. Especially since the tech fed fish and then worked on my eyes, I didnt know I needed to keep tabs on making sure someone cleaned their own hands before pampering me.Such a disappointment. I will never go back, and its sad to say that, because I use to have such confidence in this beauty salon.I was told their was no way they could foresee this happening so they cant do anything about it, well I would hope you wouldnt foresee this happening, otherwise you would be out of a business.Please treat your clients with more respect and understanding. Im sure if I was a regular then I would be taken care of. Never again. Dont waste your time or money. I hope the tech that worked on me learns from this, as her boss really has shown her such a poor example of how a client should be treated.

Zero stars if possible. My review pertains to microblading services I got a couple of years ago, but since Id love to get my brows redone somewhere else, I felt compelled to write a review--even though a lot of time has passed. Because Im still livid about the terrible service and worthless outcome.Im more or less in a position where I cant afford to do it again because of what I spent here the first time around, but my brows faded COMPLETELY after TWO MONTHS. And no, it was not my fault for not following aftercare, etc...I spent way too much money on them to do anything other than exactly what I was told to do. NO, I dont have health conditions or take medications that would interfere with the end result. It is not my first rodeo when it comes to tattooing or permanent/semi-permanent makeup. Ive spent a lot of time reading about why microblading can fail since then, and know that I may not have even been the best candidate for this service, but there was NO mention of this when I booked my appointment. NONE. I have oily skin (which apparently can cause the pigment to blur/fade) and I had previously gotten my eyebrows tattooed, and most places minimally recommend that the tattoo be removed prior to microblading. They healed and looked so-so; I went in for my touch-up as scheduled and they just disappeared off of my face within weeks. I dont know what irritates me more, the fact that I wasted my money or the fact that it took her about 20 minutes to draw them on and etch them into my face. I felt like I was in a McDonalds drive-through. I have been reading other establishments approaches to making sure their clients are happy with what they are getting, and I am freaking FLOORED by the poor quality of the service I got. A couple of hours for a consultation is STANDARD elsewhere.As far as Im concerned, this place robbed me blind. If I wasnt a good candidate for microblading then I should have been informed of that. She said no problem, we can cover up the tattoos. Yeah, right. Be careful when considering microblading and make sure your skin is suited for the service. Because apparently some of the idiots who do it arent going to tell you themselves. They want your money...satisfaction, not so much.Addition: Unfortunately, it doesnt look like its possible to add a response to a businesss reply on the original comment. Anyway, yes, I was a customer at the Hudson BB. I used to live in Hudson myself, so Im not sure why you dont have a record of my being there. Whatever the case, I wanted to add that I do appreciate the response. I did not add the review simply to be inflammatory. My main issue is that absolutely nothing was said about touch-ups of that frequency. I was told that the previous tattoo would cause microblading to fade sooner, but was told that I could expect to need them redone around a year. I could have managed that, but if anyone had told me Id need to do it every three months, I wouldnt have decided to go forward with the service in the first place. I couldnt afford it. I will say that while they were visible, I was relatively pleased with the results; my eyebrows are naturally a bit uneven and are very difficult to straighten out. The microblading did solve that. But absolutely nothing was said about coming back every three months. I posted the review now out of frustration that this was never discussed with me, nor was the idea of having the tattoo removed first, which another establishment told me was a MUST if I wanted decent results. At this stage I dont have the money to go forward with removal and having them redone, and am simply frustrated that I wasnt advised to go that route first. It might have been possible before I spent hundreds on them the first time around.

I had hair and make-up done for my friends wedding. I feel like my hair was rushed and by the time I got back to get ready my curls were completely gone. I had to have my friend curl my hair again and those curls held all night. IM EDITING PER OWNERS REQUEST.....after going back and forth with you about this issue I find that you are not professional!!! You asked me to add more stars to my review, not going to happen!!! Never should have messaged me asking for that!! Not my fault you didnt have enough staff for all of our bridal party. Also when someone leaves a review you should keep that between you and that person....not message anyone else about it!

I have had multiple spray tans, and a couple makeup applications done, and one of my daughters birthday parties.... and have been so happy with it all! Brooke and the BB dolls create such a fun environment and the makeup is AMAZING!!! Seriously.... though... amazing!

Ive been visiting Brooke at BB for over 4 years now (every 2-3 weeks) for eyelash extension fills and my eyelashes are still very healthy and strong. I also had my brows bladed (initially 1.5 years ago, my eyebrows were blonde) and have (mostly) kept up on touch-ups...I get compliments all the time. Even my esthetician reminds me of how great they look every time I see her. Brooke also helped laser a cyst off of my nose before my wedding! She is my go-to gal. Highly recommend BB Makeup in Hudson, WI!

Brooke treated my daughter like a second class citizen for not wanting certain makeup that just wasnt her style - she had to wipe off foundation immediately in the car - it was two shades too dark and looked orange. I also want to point out that Brooke used dirty makeup brushes that obviously hadnt been cleaned in who-knows-how-long. My daughter has sensitive skin and broke out within an hour.All in all, she overbooks, and the place just lacks class. Theres not even a place to sit and wait - which is difficult when she overbooks and stacks people in the place. It feels like a makeup mill.Was such a disappointing experience after all the hype. Overpriced and awkward experience. Dont go!

Ive never been more satisfied with cosmetic products. I come into BB to see the guru Brooke every time i come to town to visit my family. She makes me feel so confident as a woman. Im very pleased with BB!

I won a make up lesson here and I felt like it was just for selling their products. After she was finished, they make up lesson literally took ten minutes and the last thing she says is ‘ok now what would you like to buy’ I will not name names but the girl was very pushy.. also had gone here for wedding hair and make up and was not impressed. The same brushes were used on everyone. Felt very rushed and that we were not important enough as the next group that would be coming in. The before and after pictures on the website I feel are done with care...because I can tell you I did not look half those people, for $90 I fell like my make up should of lasted all night. My hair was ok but again was flat by the time I left the salon. And yes I was told that I could get it touched up but I would have to sit and wait for the other girls to finish...and honestly did not have time for that. And we were told that there would be multiple staff there to help with our big bridal party. There was only TWO! And we had a BIG party, And we were told we could not be late or time would be deducted from our services. So everyone had to just sit there and wait which was very annoying.... was the staff nice, yes. Would I go here or recommend to other people, sorry but no.Ok updated edit. In response to owner: I do apologize I did not see the alcohol use in between the make up applications. And we had way more then 4 people. And it doesn’t matter how many days later a review is posted. It was within a timely matter. And messaging people to asking them to change there reviews in VERY unprofessional. People have the right to there opinion.

I had my make up done by Brooke a few months ago for a wedding, and I would not recommend her place of business to anyone. Brooke made me feel horrible for not wanting to do false eye lashes, as I am unable to wear them. And then I tried to do the airbrushing when she claimed airbrushing would help if you tend to have oily skin, and within 30 minutes I was already having oily patches. I had to redo my own make up and do my own eyes as she didnt seem interested in doing them correctly since I didnt want the false eye lashes.

Brook, Missy and Team are wonderful to work with. Efficient, fun, and straight forward. Love the talent and confidence at BB. The positive attitudes and environment is contagious and motivating!

No numbing cream was offered or needed. Brooke got right to work. As she was the expert I ultimately left everything up to her. I traveled all the way from Chicago, to go to BB. So worth the drive!! I wanted to have the brow blading procedure. 5 stars all the way. Had a pretty good experience for my makeup lesson and love the make up I came home with...also had the BEST spray tan ever from BB..but not sure I will take them up on their deals they have when someone is in training again. I went in for lash extensions by a trainee and went home with clumpy, upside down lashes :( maybe that was how they were supposed to be, kind of messy, or maybe thats what happens with inexperience? Not sure but I definitely was disappointed because I was so excited to get such beautiful lashes at a discounted price. Hoping to return soon though.
