I didnt have any problems with Dr Matossians personality or demeanor, but he was late for every appointment I had with him - even for 15 minute check ins and telemedicine appointments - by at least an hour, sometimes more than 90 minutes. I understand some tardiness from a doctor but 90 minutes without communication or rescheduling is disrespectful and highly unprofessional.Other issues were that they provided no instructions on how to use their very confusing telemedicine system, I was unable to get any kind of receipt or confirmation of payment, was overcharged by $250 on my first appointment without any communication as to the error or when I would be refunded, and finally had multiple issues with my Rxs being filled at the wrong pharmacy despite thorough communication with the front desk.I ultimately decided to pursue care elsewhere and would not recommend this office based on my experiences.

Dr. Matossian is very honest with you, which I like. Another thing I like is that he looks at all aspects of your life when making a diagnosis. Psychaitry is hard, and he does a good job.

Only suggestion to anything is meds after meds after meds. Some not even prescribed for the issue presented. I was prescribed SEVEN different medications in SIX months. I was told my depression was my fault and I should try a different outlook on life. Really?!Does not take his patients or his job seriously. Please do not send your children to this quack. The only thing he’s ever done to me, and the people in my life who have been unfortunately treated by him, is made things worse.THREE people I know attempted SUICIDE while in his care. He does not help. He makes things worse.

Amazingly friendly, soft spoken, gives you what you need, not what you WANT....if thats why youre going there for some type of drug. Youre going to the wrong person. And he lives a fun life, a great family man, and hes open about himself, makes me anyway, feel like I know him better and relaxes you and you feel more open to speak with him. Plus a super friendly group of office workers.!!!!

Absolutely terrible “doctor”.Told me my depression was my fault, that it was just my outlook and I should “cheer up”. Barely spoke outside of pleasantries and med talk. Didn’t really care they weren’t working.Put me on several medications in a very short time frame. Within a month of being out of his care, and with a better doctor, I immediately began to improve.STAY AWAY!!

I need to finally tell my story. I’ve looked, and there are no legal repercussions I can take.I used this practice for almost 10 years. In that time I saw two separate therapists, one I loved, the other who just wanted to sit there and listen to me talk about my week without giving me advice or a path to follow. As far as Matossian goes, I saw him for the entirety of that time, and he put me on medication after medication. (Between 6-10, total, I honestly lost count, it may have even been more than that.)At one point, towards the end of my time with him, I started showing symptoms of benign Vertigo, and my pediatrician put me on an antidepressant. It solved my vertigo, and even my depression got better. Keep in mind, I had barely been able to get out of bed for MONTHS. I see the “good” doctor 4 weeks later, as scheduled. He immediately took me off the one med that had been fixing both of my issues, and exchanged it for a bipolar medication, because in his words, “why not try it? Nothing else I’ve been doing has been working”. For those of you who don’t know, bipolar meds and depression DO NOT MIX. I began hallucinating, as one does with that combination, and immediately stopped seeing him, and stopped taking the medication. To be clear, I was driving, and I saw a traffic light turn green before it had. I started to run a red light before I blinked and it changed back to red. I could have been in an accident. I could have been killed.Viken matossian is a HACK. Do not go see him if you care about your, or your loved one’s mental health or life.I have since been back on the antidepressant that helped me, and it helps me every single day. I’m not dizzy, and I’m happier and calmer than I’ve ever been.

Had my first visit today. Dr. Matossian is kind, courteous and understanding. Was very pleased with the outcome. Other than waiting 2 months for an appointment, the process was great.

Dr. Matossian is a wonderful doctor. He is very attentive, and knowledgeable. I feel he has the patients best interest in mind, and each time I have visited this office, he has asked many questions to obtain a clear understanding of my progress. I trust him, and believe I will be one of his patients for a long time. Exceptional service so far! :)

This doctor will treat a patient but not stand up for them in court if need be to help testify to their mental status while undergoing traumatic brain injury treatment after a car accident.Let that sink in: This doctor will take money and work off lien should you win the case and get paid for his services, but he will not testify in that case and discuss his own findings. That seems entirely unethical and a doctor that doesnt want to publicly speak about his diagnosis. Search for someone else that will stand by what they witness and diagnose!!!!!

The psychologist I met with was amazing and I loved every meeting with her but Matossian is insensitive. He asked me how my day was going and when I made it clear it wasnt going well, he said oh you pretty little princess :o sooooo..... If you want to pay a psychiatrist to judge you when they are supposed to be helping you, this is the place to go!

Terrible. When I talked to Dr. Matossian, he disclosed personal information about my mother (who was also under his “care”) that I did not know and should not have known because I was 16 at the time, breaking HIPAA. He was condesending and would rather prescribe me a harmful drug and scoot me along out of the office than listen and provide healthy solutions. He was also very rude to my sister, who also saw him for a short periods of time, telling her that her problems were insignificant and it was in her head.

I was a new patient here 8 months ago and was unhappy with the services that Lynn Webber had provided so i told her i didnt want to see her anymore and walked out. Today I tried to make an appointment with another doctor and was told they wouldnt accept me unless i paid $50 and that Ive been reported to a credit agency. When i asked why, i was told that i missed my next appointment and was a no call no show. Now i checked my credit report and see that i am in default for something that i not only made very clear i didnt want, but also something i never received. This place is not helpful at all. As a matter of fact, its hurtful in more ways than one. There are other great doctors in Howell. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere or ask many quesrions first?
