I have been seeing Dr. Wollaston for about 12 years now and she is a godsend! She listens with more empathy than any other doctor I have experienced. Dr. Wollaston really listens and works with you to find a solution. Lupus, RA, Sjogrens, and other autoimmune diseases is not easy but I know that I am in the very best hands.

My dad had died of Covid. Two months later I took my mom for her infusion. When I told the nurse he had passed away 2 months earlier she told us to go to the hallway. Now mind you our Dr. told us we were covid free. The nurse whom is the most uncaring person I have ever met came out after about 30 min and told us we had to leave. I tried to explain to her we didn’t have it but she didn’t want to listen. My mom is 84 years old and for her to get dressed and make the trip there is a chore. She has been going to that office for 15 years. I feel the Dr. could have at the very least call to see if they could reschedule. My mom went to Dr Halter who started this practice and he treated her so special. This Dr. and her office staff are the most heartless people I have ever had to deal with. If I could give 0 stars I would. Shame on you Dr Wollaston.

This review is not directed to Dr. Wollaston, as I have yet seen her to make a proper assessment/review about her. Ive heard great things about her through my neurologist, Dr. Blum.Which is why it was such a disappointment that I was unable to consult with her due to HORRIBLE communication/office staff, particularly Yolanda. She was the one I spoke to from day one, approximately 3 months ago.I had called to make an appt after a referral from my neurologist as stated. When I called, Yolanda told me she was busy and told me to WAIT 20 mins and then call the office back. Ok fine, I thought.. I really want to see Dr. Wollaston. When I called back she told me that for new patients, there is a 2 months waiting period. This is quite a long time to wait for someone with chronic pain but I get it, shes in high demand, and I want to see the best of the best, right?I gave her my info/ins/address and was told that I will get new pt forms in the mail to get filled out. I also told her I have imaging done recently, which is why I was referred in the first place. She didnt ask for a copy of the disc or even the report. The day of my appt, Yolanda calls me to tell me shes waiting on my forms and to remind me of my virtual visit this afternoon. WAIT, what?!! When I told her I was expecting to see the doc in person, Yolanda insisted that I agreed to a virtual during our phone call initially. The protocol per Yolanda, is that if the doc thinks I need to come in then they will scheduled ANOTHER visit later.I was never told that I was being put on hold for 2 months for a telemedicine visit. Why would anyone in their right mind wait 2 months for a visit via the computer?!! How do you do a telemedicine visit without doing a full physical exam in rheumatology? Do you palpate my joints through the screen? let alone--- you did not even ask me for a copy of my imaging. So what exactly are you assessing? Assessing for another co-pay?Needless to say, I was angry, frustrated and hurt. After wasting 2 months of my time (--mind you, while suffering in chronic pain), I called another rheumatology office within my network and was able to get in within 2 weeks for in IN-OFFICE visit. I saw him just yesterday, his office staff was wonderful, he reviewed my imaging report with me and did a full body examination, the visit only took 45 mins.

Dr. Wollaston is the best physician I have ever met. She is genuine, sympathetic and intelligent. Patient care and helping find solutions is her number one priority. She takes time to really listen to the patient and thoroughly explain. I have never had a physician take as much time with me, as her. I drive from Galveston to West Houston just to see her. I am confident that she can determine the root cause of your symptoms, and help you find treatment that will make you feel better. She is extremely educated, stays up to date and current on medical trends, and does not push medication on the patient.

Really bad communication! Answering to take appointment, really? When they call they ask you to call your insurance company to see if they accept that doctor, really? Is it it there job to do that? I’ve never heard of something like that and appointment are so far more then 2 months before you can see her. Don’t waste your time if you are a new patient, they don’t look interested for new patients.

I have had Rheumatoid Arthritis going on 25 years and in those years Ive seen 4 other RA specialist and none of them have the people skills, patience and up most concern for my welfare. I feel safe and confident that she knows what shes doing all the time. She is precise, informative and what I like most of all is that she is understanding and actually cares about me and even my teenage daughter who she has come to now know too ( who also has a auto immune disorder). No other RA specialist has come close to Dr. Wollaston. She even moved further from my house and I chose to stay with her and drive out to keep her.

Dr. Wollason is the fifth rheumatologist I have visited. She is the BEST. I would follow her in the end of the world for her care. She looks at the entire patient and has even recommended other doctors for specific questions. She is worth the drive from out of town, even in traffic!

Very nice staff but can be difficult to get hold of when issues come up. Just voicemail messages and then wait on the call back. Cannot get a live person on the phone.

I’ve been seeing Dr Wollaston for 11 years. I was lucky that she was the first Rheumatologist I saw when I was diagnosed with Sjogrens Syndrome. I’ve heard horror stories of other people who have other drs who have no clue what that is. I have a great admiration and fondness for her. She is kind, patient, caring and genuinely cares about your well being. Over the years, as my disease has progressed into more autoimmune diseases, I’ve come to look at her as my Godsend and the glue that holds me together. I moved away and moved back to Houston because of her. She moved her office to West Houston and farther for me to drive, but I’d drive hours to see her. She is by far the best top notch Rhuematologist in the Houston area. She stays up to date on the latest medical cutting edge technology and expertise. I couldn’t ask for a better Dr.
