I have been very pleased with Dr. Puppala and everyone in the office. Dr. Puppala is very thorough and explains things in a way that patients can understand. I have never felt rushed during a visit and afterward I feel like I better understand what is going on with my health. I highly recommend this practice

I believe Dr. Puppala is a very knowledgeable doctor. He is has a very quiet confident demeanor yet ALWAYS very kind. He listens attentively and is very thorough. I really appreciate his care. I think his office staff is good too at both locations. The girls are very sweet and answer my questions as best possible. I am happy with him, his care and his office!👍

Dr Puppala himself is nice, and easy to work with. However I have never waited less than 45 minutes past my appointment time to see him (usually over an hour) and his staff are just terrible. The event that lead me to write this review was my recent experience (the latest in a string of bad experiences) when my BiPap machine broke. The machine was making a funny noise, so I called the surgery to see what they would suggest. The woman on the phone looked up my records, told me the machine was still under warranty and that the only way to use the warranty was to bring it in to the office, she told me the name of the lady I should ask for when I got there. So I took a morning off work to drive over there (theyve recently moved so they are now a 40 minute drive instead of a 10 minute drive from home). I got there and asked for the name I was given. The desk lady asked if I had an appointment. I said no, I wasnt told I needed one. She told me the lady wouldnt see me without an appointment and I should make one and come back!I explained that I really just wanted to find out how to claim warranty on my machine that was making wheezing sounds. She disappeared and when she returned she said that there was nothing they could do because the machine was was out of warranty. I said that I was told it was in warranty. She said no its not the first lady must have been mistaken. So I asked if the only option was to buy a new machine (the manufacturer Rotech wont deal with the public directly, they just direct you to your doctor). The woman at the counter disappeared again and came back with the lady I asked to see originally. She said they could send it in to Rotech for me for a $30 fee and they would assess and give me a repair cost from there.I was already frustrated with being told it was in warranty and then it wasnt that I just needed to take a morning off work and come over but then I couldnt see anyone without an appointment, so I probably wasnt the most understanding client they had that day. I said if what they need to do is send it in, then fine and asked if they would provide me the same model as a loaner while the repair was happening.... I was told they dont offer loaner machines... firstly, when I a was new client and hadnt bought anything from them yet they sure had loaners for me then, they made sure I had one so I could do a sleep study so they could tell me how badly I needed to buy a machine from them, so I know they have loaners, Ive used them. Secondly, these are devices that literally help me breathe at night. No loaner essentially means I dont get to sleep for the week or more it would take to get to Rotech and back.. like, how is that in any way reasonable?Anyway, I dont write reviews often, but this shambles of a team were just terrible enough to make me put finger to keyboard.

We were very pleased speaking with Dr. Puppala and we left feeling hopeful. However, after listening to his front desk help today she turned my stomach with the mountain of excuses she gave for being inept. Two weeks ago Dr. Puppalas summary of my husbands sleep study was to be faxed to a monitoring company so he could start using the machine and he would began to feel better. The companys personnel called me the day after our doctors visit to say that only part of the information need was faxed over to them, and their hands were tied for getting the monitor to us. After calling and leaving messages for two weeks....... today I decided to go back to Dr. Puppalas office, the door was locked. I found out from the sleep center staff that his office had moved to the professional bldg.of the hospital on the 4th floor. I then went to the 4th floor office and this girl gave me so many excuses why they had clearly dropped the ball I felt like throwing up my lunch. I couldnt take anymore so, I abruptly stopped her and asked if she could get me a copy of the summary and I would fax it over to them myself .......

This physician made a huge mistake with my husbands c-pap machine. 1st of all they charged us, what would have been our deductible, $1200, then because of the facility we were he had the sleep study done, North Cypress Medical, they went ahead and pocketed the money for an emergency room visit he had, which they did not notify us of. 2ndly, then the doctor is still charging us the same amount that was paid for the study because he read the results, NEVER did his office EVER contact us about a follow up visit for the results. 3rd, the medical equipment company, they were a real treat to deal with, which through the great vine we came to find out the doctors wife owns, gave us the WRONG machine. Lastly, my husband has been suffering with sleep apnea for the past 3 years or so and because of the ignorance and inhumane way these people treated him. Like some pay check and some idiot whom didnt know what was going on with himself. Every time we receive his bill in the mail, I watch it burn in my BBQ pit because I do not care to pay for it. They allowed my husband to suffer from sleep deprivation, plus they know he stops breathing at night, and Ive never slept comfortably at night with him because I was always checking for his pulse. I highly recommend this doctor if you are willing to die before he actually assists you with CORRECT equipment and follow up visit. The worst thing ever to happen to my husband. Congratulations of making my husbands credit score lower, too bad that we are NEVER going to pay for the damage you have caused him. Thank God you sleep well at night. (Is there half a star rating on this thing?!)

Great doctor, however the staff is terrible about answering the phone. Youll have to leave a message on the answering service, and if your lucky, they will call you back in a few days. I just dont understand why Dr. Puppala cannot have a better team of office personnel. I continue to see Dr. Puppala for the last seven years and nothing ever changes. This is the only doctors office that I have ever experienced this inexcusable problem with. Dr. Puppala, please fix this issue will you?
