This place is amazing!!! I used to live in Magnolia which is about 40 minutes away and had no problem driving to the location. Debra and the rest of the staff make ever second of it worth the drive in Houston traffic. I now live just under two hours away close to Alto and still have no problem driving to see Debra and the staff. They make every part of the experience worth the traffic and time it takes to get there and get my medication. Thank you all for being amazing!!!

Needed to get a PCR test done for my flight to Egypt that day. Not only did I receive my test results and documents within the hour of taking it I was able to make my flight with time to spare and make it all the way to Egypt to celebrate my birthday. The service was very professional easy and quick! 10/10 would recommend (especially if you can’t wait for other locations who takes 3 days to get results when you have a 72hr window)

The Pharmacist, Dr. Marie Ekpema, Alanna and Debrah are very knowledgeable, patient (taking time to explain in detail, even if they have to repeat the conversation for hard of hearing and/or older people like us) and in layman’s language. At Other pharmacies I have always felt like I was being rushed, at Summerwood Pharmacy, even with many other customers in line they act as if you are the only customer in there. This is the absolute greatest pharmacy EVER!! I’m not kidding you! The customer service is spectacular! I always have such a great experience when I work with them. I am a Private Duty RN and I took care of a patient that was bed bound and needed the flu vaccine. After calling around to many pharmacies and being declined, it was Summerwood who was able to draw up the vaccine and give it to me so that I could administer it to my patient who could not leave home! They also were able to come to my patient’s home to administer the Covid-19 vaccine. No other pharmacy would go out of their way and take the time out to help my patient, but Summerwood did! I will forever be grateful for them because they actually CARE! Deborah, Alana, and the pharmacist Marie provide top tier quality service. So glad I found them! Love the service so much that I now have them as my pharmacy. Oh yes, and they deliver meds to the entire Houston area!!

A couple of weeks ago I had gotten a spider bite on my hand and needed some of that old school black draw sav and they are the only place u can get it all the other stuff dont work when I got there they hadbeen closed for over two hours one of the ladies that worked there just happened to be in the parking lot and see me she came over and ask if she could help she then opened up and let me buy what I needed and keep me from going to the hospital so thank GOD and thank you Maria I wish I could give yall a ten

Genuinely disappointed. I have a special needs daughter who only eats through a g-button. After over a month of trying to find a pharmacy that would fill her specialty formula prescription, we finally got in touch with Summerwood Pharmacy. At first we were very impressed with how active they were in finding a vendor for my daughters formula. A few weeks later, once they had the specialty formula, they said that we needed to send other prescriptions over in order to pickup the formula. We informed them that we didnt have any other prescriptions in our family. The manager told us that since we werent an established client/patient we would need to send over other prescriptions to become an established client/patient. She said it could be two more prescriptions from any of our extended family members in the area. I told her we didnt have any. She finally agreed to let us pick up the formula and we thought all was well. Until it came time to pick up her new month prescription of formula for January. I got a call informing me that they would no longer be able to fill the prescription. I never got a reason why. Now, we have no one to get her formula. We went from being extremely thankful for their hard work and persistence to being dropped when they realized there wasnt enough profit in it for them. The first time we spoke the manager mentioned how she left a big pharmacy company because she actually wanted to help people get the medications they need, but then she left us without any other options, fully aware she was our last resort. Im so disappointed and frustrated. I dislike that she was willing to hold my daughters specialty formula hostage in order to get more business.*I understand that a pharmacy DOES NOT HAVE TO fill any prescription. I was just disappointed that the manager said one thing, then did another.

I insist on using this place and not the big box chains because they make you know and feel that they care. The manager is very involved and they try to help you reduce the amount of medications you take by healthy living and vitamins. Love their energy!

This pharmacy is a cut above every pharmacy I have ever been in. We have used them for years. Very small an intimate, and every time I have been there, they make me feel like I am the only customer they have. Christmas time is the best. I cant wait until the cookies, and pharmacy elves come back lol!!

Amazing experience. Very few pharmacies can fill out of state schedule 2 prescriptions in the Houston area. They very considerately and respectfully helped me through each step of the process, and kept me informed as they moved through each step of the approval process. While they do charge a fee for the service, the overall service is far beyond what you would normally expect from even an excellent pharmacy. There is a personal touch that I am not accustomed to! Definitely recommend Summerwood pharmacy.

When I was running out of my GERD medication, they painstakingly ensured that it was delivered to my door on time. I feel fortunate that we have a pharmacy that is so dedicated to the community in Summerwood.

I cant say enough good words about this place! We have been using them to fill our prescriptions for the past 2 years, and you can tell that they truly care about their customers. My mother in law has been sick for the past year and if it wasnt for Summerwood Pharmacy, there is just no way we would have made it. They fill and deliver her prescriptions every month without us even calling, they even work with her doctor to save her money on prescriptions, and when money is tight, they allow us to wait till the end of the month to pay for her prescriptions. I am so grateful that they exist, and for everything they have done for my family.

Marie is awesome, she was very proactive and went out of her way, above and beyond her expectations to make sure my son had his medication over the weekend. Great customer service, superb staff. They truly care about their patients.

After calling more than 6 pharmacies with no luck, I am so happy they agreed to stay late on a Saturday for my husband to come and fill our childs compound medicine. We were visiting family in Houston with a sick child and this is the only compound pharmacy that was willing to help us on a Saturday. On top of it, they were the most affordable. I have never seen a pharmacist so kind and go above and beyond. Thank you for making the day easier for our family. We are truly grateful!

I have been here twice to buy CBD oil and really fell in love with the level of service they offer. This is a small place, but literally every time I have been there, everyone in the store looks happy to be there, both customers and employees. I will be moving all my prescriptions here. Just wish there were more pharmacies like this in Houston.

I cant say enough good things about these people. You can tell that they really care about you and want your business rather than a NEXT or you are bothering us feeling we got at our old pharmacy. What won me over was how honest they are about vitamins and medications, and how they go out of their way to order hard to find items for us.
