Dr. Olson is one of the best ENT specialists in the Houston area. She’s kind, patient and thorough. She really takes her time in explaining the issue you have in simple terms that a non medical person can understand. She really listens to your questions and concerns and makes sure you are comfortable with any next steps/procedures you may need.

Dr. Olson and her staff are excellent, from their bedside manner, to explaining everything going on. They are all fast, efficient and knowledgeable. We felt very comfortable with deciding our surgery option with Dr. Olson, and felt that we were in good hands. My daughter was extremely pleased with the outcome and the whole process of her medical care. I would definitely recommend Dr. Olson and her staff to my family, friends and my own patients.

Dr. Olson is an outstanding surgeon and a leader in her field. She takes the time to thoroughly get to know her patients and does her best to provide a positive outcome. As someone who works in the operating room, I can honestly tell you that she knows her business. I recently met Dr. Olson to have a collapsed nasal valve and deviated septum repaired. I instantly felt comfortable with Dr. Olson and her staff was impressive. She took the required time with me to first listen, look, then diagnose. She quickly assessed the situation, confirmed my concerns and scheduled the procedure. As I was going to be travelling she was able to fit the procedure in before my travels. The staff at the out patient clinic was terrific. They were all complimentary of one anothers abilities which enhanced my confidence in the team. Jasmine, her MA, was very prompt with answering questions via MyChart and I felt very well taken care of. I had my stitched removed today and the great experience continued at this office visit. I highly recommend Dr. Olson and her team!

Let me start by saying Dr Olson and her staff are amazing. She did a surgery for my daughter to correct a debated septum. She also did a surgery for my husband to fix a septum issue from breaking his nose when he was 15. She also rebuilt the valves in his nose. Both surgery’s and experiences were done with the utmost care. Her team is like family with Dr Olson leading the charge for your better breathing. If I could give more stars I would.

Dr. Krista Olsen is by far the greatest in her field. She is highly skilled, and she thoroughly studies each case to achieve the best outcome. I had an AV malformation, involving an artery, twisted with veins and capillaries. Dr. Olsen completely alleviated the problem and restored the asymmetric problem it caused. I highly recommend Dr. Olsen to my friends and family. You wont find a better physician than Krista Olsen. She is truly a top doc.

The doctor is a great! excellent bed side manners and she explained step by step care with my mom and me answered all of questions, her staff is excellent also easy to speak to and schedule

I have been meaning to write this review since February, which is way past due. I had a septoplasty done 3 years ago for collapsed airways. The doctor I had gone to ended up making the issue worse and on top of that changed the shape of my nose. I decided to look into another surgeon in December of 2020, extremely anxious about trusting someone after the horrible experience I had prior. The chief of surgery at baylor recommended me to Dr.Olson, and I am so glad I trusted her with my surgery. She has been amazing, she cares and listened to my concerns about my previous surgery and the way they changed the shape of my nose. My airways were completely collapsed against each other and I always had issues breathing through it my entire life. Within 3 weeks after my first consultation I had my surgery. IMMEDIATELY after waking up from anesthesia I could breathe through my nose so clearly I will always remember it lol. She gave me back my old nose but functional! I had severe bruising for weeks with my prior surgery, but with Dr.Olson I barely had any bruises and if there was any it was gone within the week (Seriously I has no black and blue which was nice after last time). The recovery time was so short, I felt good enough to get up and walk around by the third day (I still stayed in bed though) and was able to resume my activities and work within 2 weeks. Its been about 6-7 months now and my nose looks and functions amazingly. Im so glad I trusted her with this and I couldnt be happier with my results and the care shown to me and any concerns I have. If you are looking for an amazing surgeon and are nervous, just know you can trust her to do an amazing job.

I have seen Dr Olson many times. It’s been great. After a few tests she decided to do radio frequency because my turbinates were really big and swollen. Well, it was so much better than I expected. I was so anxious and she was so patient with me. I really appreciate this gesture. She is really thorough, kind, knowledgeable and professional. I recommend her.

Dr. Olson is an amazing surgeon! I am a tough critic so let me tell you why if you are looking for ENT related surgery, she is who you should go to:1. Her bedside manner - she legit cares about her patients and doesn’t recommend surgery just to.2. Her skill - she’s a perfectionist and it shows in everything she does. Top notch!3. Her office runs better then my own household! Caring staff. Timely visits. Nurses that help whenever you need anything.4. She runs your insurance and helps make sureif there is a way they could cover it, that they code it properly.We didn’t know how much we’d loved Dr. Olson, but I’m telling you - she’s amazing. Dr. Olson is an exception physician and a highly skilled surgeon. I have never been able to take a deep, full breath of air through BOTH of my nostrils until she completed my septoplasty and nasal turbinate reduction. In addition, she has exceptional bedside manners and her support staff, including her nurse Jasmine, were also fantastic. I give my highest recommendation to this doctor and her group.

I had a near-fatal accident back in 2014 which obstructed my breathing due the deviation I sustained in my nostrils, and it took me 6 solid years to find Dr. Olson who completely changed my life for the better. Though I was scared of undergoing surgery at first, she assured me that it would be safe and successful and true to her words, everything went well and for the first time since I had that grisly accident, I was able to breath with ease and genuine self return, and I consider this a rebirth. My nose still looks the same with the same shape and length as before save for slight swelling and occasional congestion and its only 3 weeks since I did rhinoplasty. I would like to give a word of praise to Dr. Olson and her staff for the job well done and for taking good care of me both during and after the surgery despite this being an increasingly difficult time because of the pandemic. Among her staff, Im particularly grateful to Abby for being there for me and for constantly checking on me throughout my recovery. By and large, Dr. Olson is quite knowledgeable with a gentle hand and boundless compassion towards her patients. Therefore, I would say she is simply the best and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Olson is amazing! Been 100 % honest, she is the only doctor Ive been that I would recommend to a friend. Her staff is fast to reply our messages and Dr. Olson takes what we say seriously and takes time for the appointment. Its not rushed, she is very professional and respectful toward us. I had a deviated septum and a hump on my nose. I underwent a septoplasty. My new nose looks beautiful. I love it soo much. She takes her time to talk to you and explains everything. Dr. Olson is AMAZING!

One of the greater experiences of a Dr. Visit - from the moment of exiting the elevator into the open floor the front staff will reach out to you in a kind way to assist you right away - quick entrance to see the Dr. to be greeted by the individual staff member, which ever department you will be seen by- Dr. Olsons staff is a happy, compassionate staff and you can feel the smiles greeting you through the mask, one has to wear these days. Great bedside manors - every question was answered and Dr. Olson takes pride to inform her patients effectively about condition, treatment options, instructions and prognosis - Thank you Dr. Olson for being the Dr. who cares about patients and the staff that will keep you informed at all times to back up Dr.s orders, making sure that we as patients have a full understanding on what we need to do once we leave the office !! My experience with Doctor Olson was truly and honestly amazing for many reasons :- The Doctor is an amazing practitioner : she did a great job for my rhino-septoplasty : I m breathing much better after the surgery and my nose looks much more coherent with my facial features than before // The Doctor took both the time before and after the operation to answer every question I had in mind // Humanely the doctor is amazing and takes the time to know the patients, their expectations, and take into consideration their personal lifestyle (explaining for exemple and following up on how long it takes to get back to different sport practices etc)- The rest of the staff is amazing too, and is very helpful and smiling. I got my messages answered from the nurses very quickly through the portal.- The practice is also extremely clean, they take the COVID situation very seriously and I feel very safe with the pre-checkingOverall, I would definitely recommend Doctor Olson for your ENT issues.I can not doubt that you will be in very safe hands.

Dr. Olson was fantastic at explaining the different options I had for the treatment of my septum deviation and the procedure I would undergo. She and her team were incredibly responsive, timely and kind with my care before and after surgery. I definitely felt like I was in good hands.

Dr. Olson is amazing! Both my husband and brother went to Dr. Olson because they had obstructed breathing. They both needed to straighten out their septum and she did it perfectly. My husband had previously had his septum straightened by another Doctor and he was still not able to breath through his nose. Dr. Olson was able to fix his septum and have his breathing back. She is very knowledgeable and takes her time with each patient. She is great and I would recommend her to anyone that is looking to fix their nose.

I highly recommend Dr. Olson! She and her team took time to explain how I would benefit from the surgery and what to expect post operative recovery. She corrected my deviated septum and cleared my blocked maxillary sinus cavity. The recovery was very easy and I have not had recurring infections since the surgery. Dr. Olson will not recommend surgery unless it is really necessary.

Dr Olson is an amazing surgeon! The staff in her office is always so kind and personable. The recovery time was pretty minimal and the bruising went away so quickly. She does very thorough follow ups and is willing to answer any questions you have . Amazing bedside manner and very informative.PSI’m back in for a little check up because it’s probably just a sinus infection, but was concerned because I have some swelling and bleeding. Guess what ? She is seeing me same day to make sure I’m ok. Now that’s a great follow through surgeon!!!

Dr. Olson and her staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the pre and post operation process (broken nose). Dr. Olson takes her time to clearly explain your diagnosis and appropriate options, as well as getting to know the patient. She speaks Spanish fluently so this is always a plus for me!

I’m from a little town a bit outside of the area of Houston, but I was in need of major nose surgery. I did some research and found Dr. Olson. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Olson for any of your E.N.T./facial plastic surgery needs! Dr. Olson along with all of her staff we’re some of the kindest, most professional people that I’ve ever met in the medical field!

Dr. Olson and her staff were amazing. Very caring. As soon as I walked into her office the staff was corteous. Dr. Olson was very detailed in explaining the surgery I needed and very personal and caring. Surgery and after care was incredible. I highly recommend.

This doctor only cares about profit. She rushed me in and out and then expected me to schedule the surgery. They wouldn’t even show me photos on the computer of what the results would look like. She is totally rude and so is her staff. They only care about lining their pockets. What a waste of time going to see her. Look elsewhere.

Dr. Olson preformed a - nasal valve collapse, nasal septal perforation and deviated septum repair as well as a turbinate reduction. My original appointment with her was to address persistent stuffiness and congestion that I experienced despite using allergy medications and nasal sprays. Some of the symptoms were due to post-op complications (septal hematoma) from a sinus surgery I had done in Colorado. Accordingly, I was very hesitant contemplating another sinus procedure. Dr. Olson was willing to answer all of my questions and concerns given my previous experience, and handled all of our conversations with expertise and a genuine demeanor.I am now 2 months post-op and had no idea that the way I am breathing and therefore feeling was possible from such small but complicated changes she made. I am no longer using allergy meds or nasal sprays, I have experienced no congestion or swelling at all other than the usual couple weeks right after surgery which is expected, the whistling noises I made when breathing due to prior septal perforations are completely gone, and I sleep better and wake up more refreshed due to breathing well naturally.I’m so glad that I trusted her recommendations despite all of my hesitations as I truly had no idea how much it would positively impact my everyday life. It was worth the surgery and recovery for sure. Im very grateful.

If I had only had the courage to do a review a few years ago when I got my nose surgery. What was supposed to be a one sided nasal valve repair ended a bigger and longer 4 hour Surgery. I could not breath from my right side of nose. She said it was a collapsed valve. When I came out I asked my husband how long was I in he said 4 hours. I was shocked that I woke up quick from anesthesia. She said once she was there she went ahead and did the other valve and took a big gash from behind my left ear. Not only do I have a deep hoje egging my ear but the valves she made out if it are too big. Trey are like donut rings that impedes the airflow into my nose so what was the purpose of repairing a valve is the valves impede air. Also my nose if crooked on the right side. I went to see her and told her this. She tried to tell me I was already like this and was told to let the swelling go down. Well 3 years later here I am. I won’t take SELFIES on FB anymore. My self esteem has diminished. I got a copy of my ol report and sure enough. The report says she cut my right alar for what reason I don’t know, but she pulled it down or right so the right side is lower than the left. I have gone to 2 plastic surgeons and they told me they will have to go in and remove the valves and use pig mesh and will make them smaller and repair my crooked alar. I should have know when she was late for my surgery, looked at me in the Preop bed and asked me what surgery we were doing then flipped through my chart. I’m reminded everyday when I look in the mirror or I’m washing my hair and feel the deep gash of cartridge I touch behind my ear that is missing. It’s not in my nature to give bad reviews ever, as I am an RN worked in surgery for over 20 years, but my self esteem has diminished from horrible work I got. It was not a cosmetic procedure it was an internal medical procedure, but for some odd reason I enddd up an external mess up. Would not recommend.

Dr. Olson is amazing, she did an excellent job on my nose and I couldnt be more happier. I get compliments all the time and I still look like myself which was very important when deciding to get nose surgery. She did a septoplasty and rhinoplasty. My deviated septum is straight and my dorsal hump is gone. I recovered in about a week. Get lots of R&R. I stayed in bed 4 whole days with my feet up. 1 week later I went to remove my cast my bruisingwas gone and my swelling went down. I had no pain during recovery. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Olson and her staff. They were all excellent and it was easy to make appointments and reschedule if need be. I definitely recommend Dr. Olson for nose surgery. She is excellent.
