As a rule I dont like doctors. I was somewhat apprehensive about this surgery but the staff was so kind and considerate. Dr. Porias is awesome and ON TIME!... All in all my experience here today was totally different from what I had anticipated... One more cataract removal and then I can declare this a success... Thanks Dr. Porias and staff... I will happily spread the word about yall... I will be back soon.

My experience with Houston Eye Associates with Dr Porias and then with Dr. Fredrickson, on the Loop by Office Depot.....I wish we would have read the reviews earlier. First appointment we waited over an hour and a half. Second appointment they called less than an hour before the appointment time, to cancel because the tech was at a different office. They didn’t know that ahead of time???? If you cancel on drs less than 24 hours in advance they want to charge you but they cancel on me less than a hour before the appointment? They said someone would call to rebook. They never did. I called and rebooked. When we arrived on the Wednesday for the test, which is the only day they said they do these tests, they said we don’t do them on Wednesday. After calling someone, they did the tests. After my tests I never heard back from anyone so I called several times. Was told it would take A WEEK for the dr to read the tests of a visual field test. A week later I still never heard back from them so I called again. It’s on his desk. Still nothing. The next call I was told he USUALLY” calls if there is a problem. Usually? So I have to wonder if he just forgot or not? After another week, a month since I saw him, I called, explained IN DETAIL, what happened and requested a different dr who I had seen on an emergency, at the same office. When I showed up for that appointment, she wouldn’t see me and wanted me to go back to Porias. According to her staff she knew she wasn’t seeing me ahead of time but didn’t bother to tell me this for 2 weeks. NEVER go to this place at all costs

Worst clinic and worst treatment and reception by their staff. Only money minded. Be careful you may lose your eye sight rather than improving with this behaviors.

Highly unprofessional. I was given appointment at 2.o clock and didn’t get to see the doctor till 3.30. It was a working day and I was pissed off so much. I am not sure why they give appointments.its just an eye wash. Will not recommend this unprofessional doctor to anyone.not worth your money and time.0 stars,

Dr shows up an hour late to a room full of patients. If you start the day an hour behind schedule you can only guess what the rest of the day is like.
