I went in with an irritated eye and was attended by a lady who was nice the whole time. My girlfriend went to go take money out to pay the $350 the doctor wanted to just clean out with a cotton swab and put me under anesthesia. The lady was explaining to me that the doctor had to leave at 10:30 so I was about to call my girlfriend but the elder lady (receptionist) who apparently thought I didn’t know English started saying “No, don’t even call them.” So I told the lady that I would come back the following day and she asked me if I would like to wait inside but elder lady *TOLD* her to make me wait outside. She is unprofessional and could care less about the health of patients.I went to another location where they only charged me $85 and told me that the “diagnosis” of this doctor was wrong that My eye was just irritated from a clogged tear duct not an infection as stated by first doctor.Save your money and go somewhere else.

Been going with Dr.leandro for 8 years i tried different opticals and never seem to have my prescription correct. Dr. Leandro is kind and takes his time to actually give you a correct prescription. Also my kids go to him too he is very good with children i will not go to no one but him. The staff is friendly and are taking all the precautions needed for this pandemic.

When there on a Saturday with no appointment. The staff was polite and did told me I was going to have wait since I didn’t had an appointment. Once they took me inn, the docotor was very professional and caring too. He made sure nothing was wrong with my eye since I had an hemorrhage. After all I came out please knowing nothing was wrong and satisfied on how well they treated me.

I’ve been seeing Dr.Barcacel since 2013; I walked in with a lot of pain on my right eye thank god he examined me and found that I had Shingles in my eye he gave me the proper medication and it went away today I’m back because I had the same symptoms and I’m so happy to see him again. Great doctor I have no insurance and I don’t care to have to pay my visit because I know I’m gonna get the proper attention and exams I definitely recommend him.

Absolutely the best eye dr I have seen in my whole life. He is every detailed, gives you all the time in the world and makes you feel amazing. I’ve been wearing glasses for half of my life and I decided to have Lasik surgery and he held my hand the whole way.You may have a little wait when your waiting at your appointment but it’s 100% worth it!

UPDATE: the current staff is amazing!Love Dr. Barcacel the staff could be improved waited 2 hours to get seen while in pain with a red puffy swollen eye and the girls still did not want to pass me back without my insurance card the Doctor is amazing I wish I could say the same for some of the staff they need to seriously take a course in having sympathy and compassion for patients especially when they see you in pain and comment on it but still leave you sitting in the lobby while they have zero patients will return just for the Doctor.

They didnt let me know they changed prices and they didnt even ask what eye exam I wanted so when I tried to go get contacts they told me I had to pay an additional $100 for the test to be fitted for contacts. I lost work hours because I had to leave work early and to end up getting the wrong test done. Not going back to this place.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Barcacel since I started wearing glasses and with his services and help I got my lasik surgery done last week. I wasnt completely sure I wanted to do lasik because I couldnt see myself trusting anyone with my eyes until December when I brought it up to him out of curiosity. He answered every question and cleared up any doubts that I had and after telling me that he is with you throughout the whole process I had no doubt in my mind that I can trust him! Here I am now not wearing contacts or glasses after a successful lasik surgery! Dr. Barcacel is extremely professional, caring and passionate about what he does and he makes sure his patients are satisfied and comfortable with his services. He has been taking care of my family and I for years now and theres no other ophthalmologist I would recommend than Dr. Barcacel!

Would not recomend you come here...made an appointment, got out of work early and had to wait 1.5 hrs...they could have said something when i made the appointment... charge too much on the seperate glasses and contacts test...went up in prices and didnt tell me til after i got the exam

So I made an appointment a week ago so they told me to come May, 7th at 2:30pm so I show up at 2:15pm and here I am waiting it’s 3:25 Pm and the girl in the front desk is just been nice to the other people, she just told a lady that they were gonna be able to see her today since her husband is already inside she was going to let her go after her husband, so the lady even told her oh but I didn’t had an appointment you sure you don’t want to pass them before me and the girl in the front said no it’s okay ma’am you can be next after your husband!! Like really girl my time has value too, I set up an appointment for 2:30pm for a reason this really sucks, I’ve never ever thought this would happen smh I was supposed to pick up my child from school at 4pm it’s now 4pm and I’m still here waiting on that stupid girl to pass everybody that didn’t even had an appointment before me smh!!! Overall Dr. Leandro is an amazing doctor and just because of that I’m still here waiting for my exam...

He is a very good doctor, but if you doctor sees this comment I recommend that you look for a friendly staff and that they can help you really receptions are very grocerys when you call by phone and that makes it look bad, I could not get to my appointment yesterday. stay with my car thrown in Pasadena, I go from Baytown just to consult a good doctor and I call and I say sorry I have an inconvenience that as late as I can get her says at 4 it was 3:50 and obviously not the I did and I say ok can not change the appointment and he says no we do not have days but his voice was so arrogant and it is always the same happy each time you need to get an appointment by nurses eye, but save you they say there are no appointments and the times that they have been waiting for people to arrive without an appointment and they attend them
