I am a 6 year breast cancer survivor. Recently we had to change our medical insurance to HMO which meant I had to find a whole new set of doctors. I am so blessed to have found Dr. Naqvi. She spent 2 hours with me on our first visit just explaining the kind and terminology of the cancer I had. She ordered many tests for me, fully explained them to me and came up with a complete medication protocol. At the time, I mentioned to her that I had been suffering for many many years with insomnia, hot flashes, joint pain and night sweats. After two months of her protocol I am so grateful that my hot flashes, night sweats, nighttime bathroom visits and sore joints are almost gone. Not only that, I sleep peacefully for 6 hours straight and wake up feeling great. I am so happy!!!!! Dr. Naqvi is my HERO and I will follow what ever instructions she might would like to add. Dr. Naqvi looks at the whole person and asks many questions. Cancer may be her field but looking after me as at whole person has literally altered my outlook on life. Facility is very nice. Receptionist and technician were great and very patient. Dr. Riaz was able to quickly determine a plan for monitoring my father’s current health concerns.

Dr Shakir is a great surgeon. I can’t say anything negative 3 visits there. I can say Topeka is the very best nurse that I have ever met. I look forward to seeing her with every appointment. Great operation.

Dr. Shakir is a great surgeon. He patiently takes the time when talking with his clients after surgery. He answers every question.Tomeka is a true angel. Kind and caring only begins to describe her.For any surgery needs this is our first choice.

Dr. Naqvi and Dr. Riaz are a superstar team. We spent months going to numerous doctors who were unable to correctly diagnose our issue. Dr Naqvi figured it out in the first visit and had us on the correct treatment path shortly thereafter. She knows her stuff, and you can save a lot of time and effort by just going to her or Dr. Riaz first.

Dr. Riaz is cantankerous, curt, and rude. One of the most insincere doctors I’ve ever encountered. I received treatments for chronic anemia from him every other year. He refuses to do more research to find the cause and only suggests I get a hysterectomy. I’ve never felt more I cared for as if my life and livelihood doesn’t matter. After o received treatment in June 2020 he then proceeded to hold important FMLA and job protection paper work for a month before telling me he would not fill them out this time. It’s not that he didn’t fill it out... it’s the lack of propriety and communication that ultimately hurts me and the 2 children I provide for on my own. Life and livelihood in my black single mother case doesn’t matter for whatever the reason to him.

I am 84 and dont know anything about computers so my daughter in law is typing for me. I really like Dr. Naqvi and her nurse they are personal and helpful. I just moved from San Antonio and was concerned about find new doctors. Very caring and you can talk to the doctors and they listen to ya unlike many darn other ones. - W. Keller - CML

The folks at Premier Oncology were awesome! They took care of my mom and made her feel special. Wish I knew everyone’s name to thank them personally but it was the whole office that I give thanks to. My mom got to ring the bell and she is now cancer free. Thank you everyone there!!!

My husband has been a patient since August 2017. Doctors, nurses, office staff are so caring and very friendly. When you hear that your loved one has the horrible word CANCER, its so Devastating. My experience with Dr. Riaz and his team was the best. Dr. Riaz was very upfront with me. He never sugar coated anything. He was firm when he needed to be but he was very caring and understanding. Dr. Riaz explained everything to me and he always asked did I understand what he was saying and did I have any questions. He answered all my questions I had and was very patient. He made sure that when I left that office I had a clear understanding of everything. His team was so nice and loving. They would all come and speak to me during chemo and just chat. I am very thankful that God put Dr. Riaz and his team in my life. And my nurse Monica in his office was the best. Very caring and concerned. She always made my chemo days fun. If I could give zero stars I would have. My Grandma (84 years old) was recently diagnosed with breast cancer a couple of months ago after she noticed a lump on her chest. After some consultation from Dr. Shagufta Naqvi, my Grandma decided to start chemotherapy. However, after her second treatment she began to have severe stomach pain and didn’t know what was causing it. Her thought, as well as mine, was that it might be related to the chemo, so she decided to give Dr. Shagufta Naqvi a call to inquire what she should do. She was not “available” according to her staff and didn’t bother to call my Grandma back and pushed this off on one of her nurses. The nurse was told to tell her that it was related to pain meds she was taking and she just needed to relax. The next day the stomach pains got worse and now she was unable to hold any food or water down as she was vomiting even a small amount of any food or water. She decided to give her another call and the situation was the same. This time the nurse told her that it was probably just a stomach bug and she needed to let it run it’s course. My Grandma after the the third day could not take the pain anymore and we took her to the ER. Turns out she had a blocked valve in her intestine due to a gallstone. The surgeon said this could have been deadly if it was left untreated. I have never been more disgusted by a physician. Go someone else where they care. My grandma may not be here if it was up to Premier Oncology.
