Find another doctor that is actually willing to help you. I have been a patient of his for over 2 years now and the only thing he tried were steroid shots in my back. Two times a year and they only provide temporary relief. I am never taken seriously with my chronic back pain from a herniated disk and sciatica at 31 years old. I have been dealing with this pain for 4-5 years now. If you’re young don’t even bother coming here because they will not take you seriously. I’m sure there are better doctors in Houston.

If you have a good insurance he might help you, but don’t waste your time and money with Dr. Siddiqi. My two stars are for the ladies at front they are very nice and professional. The Doctor spent five minutes with me and he barely looked at my MRI images and I explained to him about the pain on my left side all the way to my knee. I drove two and half hours to get a second opinion. I have tried physical therapy, injections, acupuncture, massage. He didn’t care what I said and he told me to go back to physical therapy. He didn’t even check my back when I told him that I had a bump on my lower back because of the driving. Horrible person 😏

Not a great doctor or staff. My experience is the Dr forgets to write important details down, this causes headaches with insurance companies and billings. After my experience would not advise to go here.

Back at the beginning of 2020, I had a herniated disc that was debilitating to the point I could barely walk. It was extremely painful to even get out of bed. Dr Siddiqi tried spinal injections, pain medications, and physical therapy on me, but my case could not be treated by these alone. Finally, I had a microdiscectomy performed by the Doctor at Houston Methodist and my life was greatly improved by the surgery. I feel wonderful now and think the surgery was the best thing that has ever happened to me.

Dr. Siddiqi fixed my L5-S1 disc herniation that caused pain radiating down my right leg to my foot. When I first came to Dr. Siddiqi’s office to inquire about surgical options, it was only after 10-11 months of conservative options (e.g., physical therapy, epidural steroid injections, etc.), and nothing was working. At that point, I was in unbearable pain and couldn’t do anything. This was right when COVID-19 hit, and elective surgeries were not allowed. Dr. Siddiqi did everything he could to give me pain medications and steroids in an effort to ease my pain until Texas reopened. Very soon after Texas reopened, he made sure to put me on the schedule to get surgery. He explained everything he was going to do and reassured me that he had done this plenty of times. The feeling I had when I woke up after surgery and felt no pain in my leg was indescribable. Recovering from surgery caused me a couple days of discomfort, but it was nothing compared to before. It’s been over six weeks, and I sometimes still cry about how grateful I am that I went to his office. I went from being bed ridden in blinding pain to having a life again. My overall quality of life has improved, and I am happy that I can do the most mundane things like tying my shoes and walking while standing up straight. This man truly cares about his patients and helps you both before and after surgery to make sure you see the results you need. If you are in pain or are nervous about surgery, go see Dr. Siddiqi. I have and will continue to recommend him as I couldn’t imagine going through this with any other doctor (and his staff are supportive and encouraging as well).

Dr. Siddiqi and all of his staff Are amazing! I was in extreme pain and Veronica did her best to get me in that same day to talk to Dr. Siddiqi. He is extremely smart and knows exactly what you need. I am forever grateful to him and all the staff for everything they did to help me with my back pain.

Dr. Siddiqi is best and nothing but a Top Notch Neurosurgeon as far as I am concerned. After 5 months of searching for a provider on my plan and 3 referrals from my PCP. Dr. Siddiqi diagnosed my neck issues promptly and was very confident. He was so good at explaining the issues to me that I felt very confident to follow his orders. I had surgery felt normal immediately after. Went back to work in 10 days. Dr. Siddiqi is amazing and has an amazing staff that care and follow up with you the way patient care should be done. Thank you so much for giving back my life and letting me be active again and not feeling so handicap.

Dr. Siddiqi and his staff have been very kind and patient with me as I approached and planned my multi-level fusion procedure. I had suffered back pain for many years fearing this surgery. Dr. Siddiqi reassured me and explained my procedure in a way that eased my mind. Its now been two weeks and my back does not hurt anymore.

I am frustrated to have to compose this review. My boyfriend, Andrew, is one of Dr. Siddiqis patients. We attended all of his appointments together, including most recently on November 27. At this visit, Dr. Siddiqi administered a second round of steroids via shot to Andrews neck. He has experienced continued discomfort since then, but found respite in the prescribed pain medicine. Andrew always takes less than the suggested dosage, and is responsible with his use.The first weekend of December, we took a trip to Colorado. I forgot his medicine at home. I called the Texas Spine Center office but never heard back. I am aware the business is closed over the weekend, but an answering service should have been able to relay a message to Dr. Siddiqi. Thankfully, I was able to resolve the issue on my own by refilling Andrews prescription at a local pharmacy. When we returned home to Houston, I consolidated his medicine to one bottle. This past Friday, we drove to San Antonio. I brought his medicine with me. Unfortunately, our truck was broken into and several items were stolen. Among those items was my travel bag, which contained a number of valuables including my gun and all of Andrews medicine. While I am aware this is an unusual circumstance, and presents what may be interpreted as a red-flag for abuse of the prescription, it truly was nothing more than an unfortunate series of events. I personally called Dr. Siddiqis office at the Texas Spine Center on Friday and spoke to a PA. After explaining the situation and offering to send over a copy of the police report, she told me without hesitation that the doctor would not be refilling his prescription. I asked her to please have him return my call. After several hours, we did not hear back. My boyfriend called the office again a short while later. The same PA answered and assured us again our call would be returned. We did not receive any call. Of course, that was Friday and the office is closed for the weekend.I find this to be highly irresponsible care to provide. I take offense at the PAs blunt and frankly accusatory reaction to our predicament. Even if there was some sort of law that prohibits prescribing any further medication to alleviate his pain, a personal phone call would have gone a long way to assure us that his care as a patient is a priority for Texas Spine Center. It is especially disturbing that if Dr. Siddiqi or his office staff suspected that Andrew had developed a dependency on the medication he prescribed (which is what I understand the PAs behavior to be evidence of) -- he did not reach out, attempt to contact or consult with us. The sort of not my problem attitude Texas Spine Center has demonstrated is deeply troubling.I will be seeking out a new physician to handle our spine care, I suggest you take your business elsewhere as well.

Dr Siddiqi has helped me with my back pain its alot more tolerable after the steroid shot. No problems with the staff. Only problem was the call back for my work paperwork and being able to provide info when it came to certain questions the insurance provider required. But over all the staff is beyond sweet! So far it’s been good visits.

Dr. Siddiqi and his office team are great to work with. I came to him needing a second opinion and sure wish I had never worked with my first surgeon. He is kind, warm, very knowledgeable in his field, and truly cares about you and your progress. There is true thought that goes in to his treatment plan options and isnt so quick to push you into getting the most extreme surgery. He saw me every day in the hospital post op, even on the weekends and on his lunch break to ensure that he was up to date on my progress. I really couldnt have asked for more help and attention. His office team is efficient and friendly, and kind even in your most frustrated and vulnerable moment when things dont go as planned. I highly recommend Dr. Siddiqi and his team and cant say enough good things about them!
