I know Dr. Bird because my husband was a patient of hers and she is a very good Dr. I had some issues so I wanted to see Dr. Byrd to see if she could help me. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Byrd is simply the best! Shes kind, compassionate and caring. Ive never had a doctor who truly listens to my issues and tries the best plan of action for a suitable resolution. She is straight forward, but never harsh nor rude. I love her to pieces!

Dr. Byrd has done a wonderful job of being beside me throughout my migraines. She is constantly making sure that the medication she prescribed is working, and that I am getting as many of my symptoms under control at the same time. Although I have a difficult situation given my age and the nature of my diagnosis, Dr. Byrd makes sure to put both my caretakers and myself at ease. She is very pleasant to talk to and listens to my concerns while also voicing her own. If only every doctor could be like this!

I found Dr. Byrd to be friendly, efficient, and competent. She listened to my account of my issues, performed the appropriate parts of a neuro exam, ordered lab tests that were part of her differential diagnoses, prescribed meds after discussing the options, and scheduled me for follow-up EMG testing. She explained her reasoning for decisions and concluded by asking if I had any questions. I liked her and would recommend her to others.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Dr. Byrd. I have been a patient for over 10 years. She so very nice & compassionate and her team of nurses are the best. She is the only neurologist I trust. When my insuance changed I suffered through my migraines until I could see her again!

A little over a year ago I started experiencing numbness and tingling, loss of balance, and muscle weakness in my arms, hands, feet, and legs which are all symptoms of Diabetic Neuropathy and it was progressing fast. I went to my PCP complaining of these symptoms and getting sent home and told to get better control of my diabetes no other explanations. I tried to continue working and eat better than I already was but continued to get worse. After going from a cane, to a walker, and finally a wheelchair in a couple of weeks I went back to my PCP again and was sent back home and cleared for work no explanations. At that moment I made a decision to go see a neurologist and Dr. Byrd was my first choice. She ran blood test and found out my b12 was extremely low and my body wasn’t absorbing it which is a side effect of taking Metformin. She immediately started me on b12 injections which in time helped reverse almost all of these symptoms. If you want someone that listens and cares about your health Dr. Byrd is that person. I am back walking, driving, and feeling independent again because she heard me.

Dr. Byrd saw my daughter as a patient. My daughter was very well pleased, she understood Dr. Byrd, she said she is very nice, very concerned about her medical condition. Easy instruction on how to prevent from having sever migraines. My daughter has recommend her to her friends that have the same issues.

Dr Byrd was very nice she listen to my concerns and explained to us what she was going to do and why she was doing it. I had been experiencing dizziness and passing out. She is running test to rule out other reason. That is more then my other doctor did. I am very pleased with the care I got from her.

I was referred to Dr. Byrd regarding constant headaches I was having. Im actually shocked to read these reviews and learn people had an unpleasant experience with her. Dr. Byrd was very friendly and professional. She went through all the possibilities for my headache and prescribed me some meds. My headaches went away after about a week. I would highly recommend her and would go back to see her myself.

My visits at Dr. Byrds office have been some of the worst experiences Ive had with a healthcare provider. Her bedside manner is absolutely terrible. After being referred to her by another specialist, I went to her office with a few questions in mind. Unfortunately, I left with most of them unanswered. I had a follow-up visit, where she recommended surgery. Of course I had questions about this. She didnt answer any of these questions at this visit either and left the room rather brusquely. Her response to my questions at both visits was Im not the one to answer that. Seeing as I was referred to her in order to further evaluate my medical issues and get these questions answered, who else exactly should be addressing them? Having spent many years in the healthcare industry, I know this is not the appropriate way to treat a patient. Im not asking for you to sit with me for an hour answering questions, but I do expect to be treated with respect. Shes clearly a very intelligent physician, but her communication is severely lacking. I wont be returning to her office

Horrible experience, I went to doctor Byrd after a hospital visit where doctors were afraid I had a stroke or a migraine similar to such and when I arrived a little late (after encountering a horrible wreck on the highway) she did not cancel but her bedside manner was extremely horrible. She then charged a bill on my insurance as if she did anything, I mean she didnt even have my medical records and my insurance was charged 600 dollars.I had no answers and no understanding, two weeks letter I was to return and was sent away because they still had not received my medical records!!!!!

I went to Dr. Byrd for my migraines, she was professional and caring. I would recommend her, it was a little wait and she apologized for it.
