So when I first started coming to this office everything was great everyone is nice especially Yolanda, Dr. Blackburn, and Dr. Dong Kim. But it’s time for surgery and I understand everyone needs to get paid but the billing service associate Jackie was so rude and had little comparison towards me with this being my first surgery ever and that I’ve never experienced anything like this before. The information she gave me was false after I called to confirm with my insurance. She even went as far to tell me if I paid the hospital first I would be spending more money and they won’t see me or do the surgery if my deductible wasn’t paid. I wish Jackie was more understanding and more compassionate towards people and to have better customer service skills.

I had my initial appointment with Dr. Verma on 6/5/19. She informed me she was ordering a sleep study for me and scheduled a follow up appointment to discuss results for 7/10/19. The MA, LaToya said she would arrange the study and call me with the date and time. I never received that call. The receptionist called me on 7/8 to confirm my 7/10 appointment and I told her to cancel it because they never scheduled the study. She said she would look into it and have someone call me back. I never heard from anyone so I messaged the doctor later that week to inquire. She never messaged me back. I called the office the first part of the next week and they said they would have the MA call me back. Again, I did not receive a call. I called at the end if that week to speak with the office manager and was told she was not in the office and she would call me back. Guess what! No call. I paid my copays, my insurance company paid their portion and I never received any follow up. This office completely wasted my time and money. I would give no stars, but that is not an option.

They only got two stars is because of how great Dr. Palvadi and Jessica Hanson the PA in Pearland were, and how much they helped me when really needed it....now the issue that I have been dealing with for over a year now. In 2017 I went to see Dr. Palvadi for a refill of my prescriptions and to get a check up for my CRPS in my right foot, about a week before my appointment a staff member calls to tell me that my appointment has to be moved to a later date because she went out of town and wouldnt be back for the rest of the month. Mind you I made the appointment a month in advance because thats how long it takes to get in. I had to drive to the second location in Pearland (I didnt mind the location even though there was traffic and tons of construction). I was forced to see the PA who was way better than my actual doctor because they wouldnt give me a refill without coming in, even though there has not been a change in my issues. Now the biggest problem that I am STILL dealing with about several months later I get a call from them telling me that I owe money even though I ALWAYS pay for my visits. They claim that they charged my insurance and the insurance refused to pay. The exact insurance that I had for only a year and half not the actual insurance that I had at the time of the appointment. I know for a fact that I never saw them while on that insurance that they claimed to have charged for and have told them countless times since the first phone call! The actual appointment was in December 2017 (they have changed the year several times) before I turned 26 and got off of my Fathers insurance. I have proof that I never saw them while on the insurance that they claimed to have charged. Honestly I would love to know why they would charge the insurance company months after my actual appointment and after the new year is ridiculous to me!! Now very couple of weeks they blow up my phone with the same response asking for money and EVERY time I tell them which insurance I was under, who to talk to because they always call while I am at work and cannot answer the phone. This is a simple fix, but they dont do damn thing, and just keep demanding that I pay them money that I do not owe! BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE STAFF I WOULDNT RECOMMEND!!

Dr. Daniel Kim operated on a herniated disc in my lower back, L5 – S1. I am still recovering, but I have complete confidence in Dr. Kim and his staff has been nothing but helpful during this tough time.
