I found Dr. Wintz to be an extremely pleasant physician during my initial visit which made it easy to communicate all of my health concerns. She was an exceptional listener and was extremely empathetic to all of my concerns. I was not rushed in any manner. My patient care experience was outstanding and I would highly recommend her as I consider her to be an outstanding professional.

Saw her once in her office and called a second time to see her during a kidney stone passing and she didnt think it was necessary. If I passed them without incident in the pass I should be fine. I have passed over 16 since 1989 thanks for your great care.

My mother has been a patient of Dr. Wintz for 3 years now and she is amazing. Shes always accessible and very much an advocate for all her patients. She takes her time, LISTENS and wants the best for her clients. Her problem solving and strategies are based on each clients individual needs. Its not PLAN A for all.A true care giver in every sense of the word - which is RARE in this time and age.

I cannot speak ill of Dr Wintz nor her Associates. I have been with Dr Wintz since 2009. She is my angel on earth. She has the best bedside manners you can ask for from a Dr. Dr Wintz not only takes the time to review your blood work, she also takes the time to know who her patients are. On top of all she does for her patients, she is very protective of her patients. In addition, if you are a dialysis patient she willfight tooth and nail to get you placed on the transplant list. As I reviews the negative marks here , ( I cannot judge these individuals and their experience because I was not there ). However , I find it hard to believe Dr Wintz will turn away a patient with a concern. I am the “patient in her waiting room”. I am the face of kidney disease with years of dialysis under my belt, then again, I am living proof of how hard this Dr has pushed for me to receive a kidney transplant. I am Two years out from transplant and she watches my labs like a hawk. Let me also add , Jessica her assistant who will frequently call you to follow up with labs and helps to answer and questions or concerns you may have. Her Associates, Dr Stephen Fadem who is known for his work in nephrology. Dr . Tabihbi who is exceptional as well.In conclusion, if you are reading reviews and feeling a little precautious, please take my review with evidence of the outstanding work Dr Wintz has given to the world of Nephrology. I am her patient of 10 years, I am a product of her dialysis care. I am a product of her Work for tranplant success. You can’t ask for anyone better .

What an arrogant woman. My PCP ordered blood work and an Ultrasound on my kidneys after having so much pain and problems in my flank area. I also had a CT scan to check for kidney stones. The results were that I was in stage 1 kidney failure, per the Radiologists report. I had a PPO and wanted the best care. I made an appointment with Dr. Wintz, which I brought my CD with written report, and my doctors lab results. I was asked only to give a urine sample, which, I had to ask her to at least look at; because once I was in the room with her, she told my husband and I that my kidneys were fine! I asked her if she even wanted to exam me and did she even look at what I had brought? No, she didnt. She told me to go out into her waiting room and look around to see what people with kidney failure looked like. She did have the urine checked and said it was fine. Actually, I felt relieved, because as I had told her, my father and grandmother had died of the same disease and that my aunt currently was in kidney failure. I asked her, Why would my Physician and a Radiologist send me to a Nephrologist unless something was wrong? She told me that she didnt know my doctor, but that both were very wrong. When I went back to see my PCP, he was furious. He told me You are in stage 1 kidney failure. He put me on Losartin, which is a high b/pressure medicine, but helps protect the kidneys. two months later, I ended up in the ER with severe pain in my kidneys (flank areas). I am in stage 1 kidney failure. I ran out of insurance because of my husband being laid off for several months and now I cannot get insurance until this December. Well, Dr. Wintz, I will NOT be in YOUR waiting room, thats for sure. You misdiagnosed me because of your own arrogance of thinking you know what someone should or shouldnt look like with kidney failure.
