Like someone mentioned in an earlier review, Dr. Kagan is a straight shooter, but she does it with compassion and great communication. I switched to her from a previous nephrologist post transplant and she’s been my doctor for about two years now. She is highly skilled and knowledgeable and will go over and beyond to help and be your advocate. I’m more than satisfied with Dr. Kagan, she truly cares about her patients!

Five stars do not do Dr. Kagan justice. It’s obvious upon first meeting that Dr. Kagan’s breadth of knowledge far exceeds kidney-related issues, but it’s her personable and compassionate demeanor that set her apart from other doctors. She’s extremely approachable yet calmly assertive in a way that makes you immediately trust her, value her opinion, and want her on your team.I’ve been seeing Dr. Kagan for a few months now, and her compassion goes beyond just how she treats me. Dr. Kagan also ensures that my family understands the issue / plan for treatment. Dr. Kagan is a straight shooter (in the best possible way) in her communication style and proactive in her approach to medicine.I highly recommend Dr. Kagan.
