My wife was in need of 2 Pleurex bottles for a medical emergency. I had called Holcombe Medical Supply at 6:35 P.M. on a Friday night. They had already closed for the night, but the owner and her father waited until 7:15 P.M. until I arrived so that I could buy the needed supplies. Neither of them knew me or my wife but went the extra mile to provide superb customer service. Its nice to know that there are still folks around who will do that. I enthusiastically endorse this company!

We had ordered a wheelchair from Walgreens but it wasnt delivered when promised and trying to work it out with them was very very frustrating. So I cancelled that order but my mother still needed a wheelchair and, of course, we needed it for the next morning. I called Holcombe Medical Supply and it was the easiest arrangement Id ever made - for anything - last minute or not. I was assisted by a very sweet lady, the price was extremely affordable, and we were able to have it delivered within 2 hours! In addition, she said she would call when the chair was on its way, then again when the delivery person had arrived. What a relief - efficient and affordable and great service! Thanks very much!

The people who own this place are amazing!!! My dad was in desperate need of some supplies while undergoing his cancer treatment. It was after hours when he informed us that he would not be able to make it through the night without them. We panicked when we realized all of the supply stores were already closed. I came here for the first time today to refill my med kit and was extremely impressed! They had tons of options for different kinds of surgical tape, gauze, iodine wipes, alcohol wipes, and salines. The staff(may have been the owner?) was extremely kind and helpful! Her main priority was making sure I had everything I needed and even offered suggestions on things I might wan’t to add! She was very knowledgeable and patient. I will definitely be coming back in the future and recommending this place to all of my friends who need medical supplies. He charged me $15 for 2 N95 masks! This is ridiculous

Overpriced and taking advantage of people looking for medical equipment. Charged me $27 for a Spirometer which usually costs $5. I will be reporting them to the state to ensure they do not ripoff other people. Also, the spirometer came in suspiciously weird packaging. So, I need to confirm that it is not repackaged. Im also asking Local ABC news to investigate them.

The owner was very knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything detail, open boxes and take specific measurements to make sure everything suits our needs and she did all of this via video chat due to our needs for complete isolation during this COVID19 outbreak. I had called so many other medical suppliers prior and am so grateful to have finally found such a caring establishment. This ended up being a really bright spot in our week and made a huge difference to our time here in Houston.

Visiting home to Houston from California with son to see grandma and relatives. Mom a bit slowed to my surprise. Wanted her to participate and spend time with us on outings so wheelchair needed, called and stop by Holcombe Medical Supply at short notice and these guys took care of everything. The lady present was very personable and helpful. I rented the wheelchair for a nominal fee and deposit and the return was smooth and quick although she had other customers. I highly recommend this place for all your needs with medical supply. While in store she also conducted business over phone helping multiple clients while making sure I was taken care of. Great find on my part. Definitely recommended by me.

Poor place to shop went in to purchase a infrared non touch thermometers on Saturday about 12 noon . The salesman shows me a Td8809 I fared no touch theremometer that has no brand from anywhere unknown manufacturer and unknown maker. But He notes if it is not working he will not refund moneyThen when I told him I will look up this thermometer online he became angry and states he will it sell me a thermometer because I wanted to clarify the safety of the model to make sure it functions appropriately since there are poorly functioning therMometers from China ... I suspect he is selling an inferior product to the public . Reported it to the public health department place is horrible would not go there ... happy joy to spend my cash there .

I highly recommend this place. I needed a wheelchair at the eleventh hour for my mother, called them up to check if theres one available. The lady on the phone was extremely polite and said that they do have one. Not only she gave me the directions to find the place, she also texted me the exact address of the place so that I dont get confused! When I reached there , she was very courteous. Even though one needs to make a reservation for a wheelchair in advance, as I had an emergency, she offered me a brand new one . She also told me how to take care of it while flying between cities with it. Also, the wheelchair was pretty comfortable and we had no trouble with it at all. Overall I am highly satisfied with their service!

The only place I found they are selling masks. They have surgical masks, 3M 1870 and procedure Mask. This the only place I found after searching so many places they have variety of masks and in a big quantity. Thumbs UP 👍👍👍 for masks...

I visited Holcombe Medical Supply on 8/23/2018 for the very 1st time. I was looking for a certain brand of wound pads. Unfortunately they were not in stock. The gentleman helping me was determined to find something that was just as sufficient as the pads I was in search of. He was so kind that he offered me a seat as he continued his search. As I waited I was entertained by his daughter, one of the most beautiful little girls Id ever seen. I must say I was not unfortunate after all, as the wound pads turned out to be better than what I was looking for. The medical supply is very close to my home, therefore I look forward to returning. Its not often to receive such wonderful customer service.

Customer service challenges. 1. Had to wait too long for attendant to complete multiple negotiation phone calls. I did want her to win the bid, but not wait when I drove to visit in person and had much quicker business to complete before store closing. Does not accept insurance for items. That was still ok, BUT when I attempt to ask about product differences, she said to ask insurance. When I explained that I may want to return and purchase her product if things got too complicated, she still did not answer simple question. Finally, I wanted to take a pic of product box needed. She stopped me. I gave up. Her cutie toddler was more customer friendly, offering me many sweet hellos and byes (which actually earned a better rating). Pro: She did offer a discount if I bought 2 items vs. 1. Ask if you shop here.

My doctor had requested a platform walker. I made numerous calls. This was the only place who had one, and they delivered it right away. I then requested a hospital bed with bedding, an adjustable tray table for the hospital bed, a toilet seat which was the only one we had tried that fit, and a bathroom chair. Later I transitioned to a heavier walker. Everything had to be put together piece by piece. When I was finished with the bed, tray table and one walker, I called and they quickly came, disassembled the bed and tray table and took one of the walkers. From the beginning, the first call, all requests and service was the most friendly, professional, and done as quickly as possible. We will use them again and give Holcombe Medical Supply the highest review.Shari

Take your business elsewhere.It had nothing to do with the return policy, the item was untouched and unworn. Either way it is all about the level of professionalism on your end. You do not raise your voice at your customers. Thats a terrible way to run a business. No one should have to wait around on you either to open up. You have other bad reviews. Get it together!

I found this to be a very unhelpful and unprofessional place. I took in a written prescription from my Doctor for a back brace. Was shown a couple and bought one. Found out later that day from my Dr. it was not what he prescribed. The brace was never worn but when I tried to return it was told they would issue a Store Credit only and that the receipt said that, which it didnt. So unless you know EXACTLY what you need Id advise you find some other Medical Supply thats more knowledgeable and customer friendly.Donald Ware
