Absolutely the place to be if you have breast cancer! What a blessing the entire, seriously overworked, staff is. Patient, efficient, willing to listen and calm answer questions, while reassuring their patients - absolutely first rate!

I have been coming to The Rose for many years. I got the help I needed when I wasn’t able to afford a Mammogram back in the day when I was a housewife and The Rose helped me out with a payment plan. I STILL come here with my Insurance for they’re GREAT SERVICE. Also I’d like to Thank Elizabeth Hernandez for her great mood, humor and for making you feel great after a long days work. I am forever grateful to the The Rose. ❤️

They have cancelled two appointments upon arrival after driving over 50 miles. First time was their mistake but I received no apology. Second time I had no babysitter and they refused to see me, I guess they wanted my kids to stay out in the truck to see me for all they care. They have no compassion or understanding for their patients. Thank you for the waste of time.

I have called three days in a row to schedule a new patient mammogram appointment. Their automated system tells you an estimated wait time to speak to a representative and every attempt I was on hold for a minimum of 25 minutes (even though it would indicate “estimated wait time is 5 minutes” or this morning at 8:00am upon opening-I had a 10 seconds waiting time). Two times it would ring as if my wait time was finally over and then I would just get disconnected.I provided a detailed message to my needs including name, number and referring doctor with no call back. I certainly anticipate a 24 hour turnaround for a returned call-but seeing how their phone response is, it’s unlikely a callback will happen anytime soon.It is truly beautiful that that they are providing a service to people in needs and also have grants to women in need/without insurance; however, if The Rose is short staffed-post a job opportunity: I will come help for free-I have tons of reception work. If your phone lines are down-update your website to indicate so. I can only assume that this company is having some pretty extraordinary hardships at this time and do hope that they can get this sorted out.

They are so great and so kind. I had my biopsy done by Dr. Dixie herself and she talked me through it and she completely makes you feel at ease. Thankfully nothing is seriously wrong with me. It’s very easy to make appointments and I have been referred to the plastic surgeon who is also very cool.

Affordable mammogram for the uninsured is a joke. I tried to make an appointment for a mammogram for my peace of mind but was told I have to have a referring physician if not they will not perform a mammogram. Also the charge would be $260 for the mammogram and they required I get an ultrasound that would cost me an additional $280. It does not matter that I have used them in the past when I had insurance. So their scam that insured patient makes it affordable for uninsured patient is a lie! For years I always believed The Rose was a caring company, not anymore!! Well I called Solis Mammography and spoke with a very nice lady that told me about their website coupon for a discounted rate. Solis Mammography is the place to go, they have all my future business and referral from now on. Shame on The Rose!

I have used the Rose for years. I had stage 1 Breast Cancer 04/19. The Rose referred me to the best Breast Cancer Surgeon. Dr. Wegge performed my lumpectomy she did an excellent job. I have no complaints ever. The Rose is the only place I will get my Mammogram. Dr. Dixie is the best, she took care of me. and the staff is excellent. I had 21 days of radiation. Dr. Dixie comes in for my Ultrasound, and reviews my mammogram, on my 6 months check ups. They are the BEST!

Went for a 3D Mammogram during COVID 19. Felt very safe, limited # of us there. They checked our temperature at the door. The procedure was easy, I was in and out within 30 minutes. Reasonably priced and I had no evidence of breast cancer. Very grateful for the services of The Rose; reasonably priced also. Please make donations to help others without insurance.

Waiting 47 min to speak to someone about making an appointment. Once I get the live individual, she was rushing my response, cutting me off, and just flat out rude. No thank you. I will choose another organization or doctor. Cigna insured and family history of breast cancer but unable to get any type of information as to making a simple appointment.

Been going to Rose on Featherwood in southeast Houston for over 20 years. Extremely professional & everyone is polite, cheerful. Sometimes the wait is very long. When I had no insurance I was able to negotiate a lower than usual price and paid in more than 1 installment. I have had coworkers going there with no complaints. This location has handicap parking. I always get a space close despite not needing handicap.

I found a lump in my breast and was referred to The Rose by my gynecologist. From the minute I arrived everyone seemed put off by their jobs, very cold attitudes in the front office. Behind the door the nurses seemed warmer. The tech who did my mammogram was very thorough, clinical attitude but at least not rude. The tech who did my ultrasound wasnt very kind. She was short and had no bedside manner. I understand I need to stay still during an ultrasound, but my shoulder dislocates when its held a particular way and unfortunately it happened. She said very rudely that I needed to hold still. I explained to her that it was out of my control and that my shoulder was falling out of place. When it stopped moving I adjusted the best I could yet it slipped again and she snapped you need to hold still. So I said yeah this is out of my control, my shoulder dislocates, its literally falling out of place. We got through that, fine. When the doctor came in he basically used a ton of medical jargon and false statistics about breast cancer telling me Im only at risk if the breast cancer was on my mothers side. I dont buy that. Anyway, he walks around the diagnosis of whatever I have, finally said it wasnt cancer, great, Im super excited about that. But he didnt really give me much other info, I asked if theyd give me paperwork about the tests I had that day and the diagnosis. He instead had the tech write it on a Post-It and google pics of cancer to show me the difference. Then he dismissed all of the questions I had, which later after googling as he suggested, were all different than what he said to me. I asked if this thing just grew out of nowhere and he said no its been there forever and was insistent that I just hadnt ever noticed. The tech then asks rudely if I do my breast exams. Then stated that I probably didnt do them correctly. I mentioned how is it possible 3 obstetricians, an ER doctor from when I had an issue with my breast in the past, 2 gynecologists and myself could have missed something like this for 21 years. He didnt really have a comment but clearly he doesnt know what he was talking about. The final question was Do I need to have this removed? and he answered pretty confidently that no I do not need it removed, its harmless and there are no issues associated with it. Okay. He walks out. Thats it. The tech doesnt even tell me where to go, just hands me the Post- It and walks away. I dont have any paperwork, dont know the doctors name, wasnt given a card, nothing. Thats it, bye. Fast forward to today when my doctor calls. She suggested I get this growth removed because it has potential to grow, can change, and cause complications. The Rose is full of rude people who clearly do not know what theyre talking about. Im glad I was approved for the free program cause I wouldnt give these people a dime.

Went in for a mammogram, Office workers were not polite at all. Tried to get financial aid and was denied. Paid for the mammogram and got a letter a week later that something showed up and I needed further testing. They kept calling to try and schedule and I explained to the lady I could not afford it. There was ZERO compassion. I will not be using The rose again. They really need new office help or maybe more training.

Be careful to check your bill. I did not request for 3D mammogram. No body asked me about, then my bill came out with 3D charged. I talked to representative: 1st they said I was requested when I made appointment. 2nd time they said I was requested at room. They did not prove the evidence when I requested. They cheat on me. Just let every one know about that and be careful

I was very disappointed in the Rose clinic and the doctor that I saw August 2018. I had a mammogram done and the doctor was all chipper and happy about it and he said that it looks good but he saw some tissue and that he was 99% sure that it was only tissue but he likes to be 100% sure and I was okay with that but then after I talk to my doctor she showed me a whole different write up by the same doctor at the rose said about the findings!!! So now I DO NOT TRUST THE ROSE CLINIC OR THEYRE DOCTORS. Im thinking may be he was trying to DUKE my doctor!!! LOL.....SMH

Being new to the area and needing a mammogram follow up, I researched around and came across this clinic. The staff is rude and insensitive. Being self pay I was hoping to split my payments but they only allowed 2 payments & did not discount my fees.Time management with appointments are not a priority. My appointment was scheduled at 10am, arrived 30mins early and waited for 2 hours before deciding to cancel. I will probably not return for future testing. Very disappointed!!

I arrived at 8 am for an 8:30 appointment because they told me to be there 20 minutes early since I was a new patient and needed to fill out forms if I didnt fill them out beforehand. I was not greeted when I walked in the door. Everyone else was. I signed myself in. Still no acknowledgement of my presence. There were 4 employees by the sign in window. I stood there for a minute so I could let them know I was a new patient so I could get the forms and an employee said thank you. Im not sure if was directed at me or the other 3 employees. I sat for about 10 minutes. Still nothing. I went to the first empty window and told the girl I was a new patient and needed to fill put forms. I was told that we would be filling out the forms together. I told her I was told on the phone to be there 20 minutes early to fill out forms. She said to have a seat, they would call me soon. A lady came in in a wheelchair and was given a clipboard and forms to fill out. She asked for a table to write on. The same girl told her she could use the last window but made no indication that she was going to come around the front of the desk to move the chair that was in the way. I walked over and pulled it out for her. At 8:25, I am called over to the middle window and we went over 2 basic forms. Thats it. I could have done them while I was waiting. While filling out the forms, the girl asked for my SSN while 2 strangers are sitting on either side of me. As far as I know, that violates privacy laws. I had to wait again before I was seen but it wasnt very long. Everyone else I dealt with were very nice and professional. The front office area needs to get their act together or theyre going to cost their company money. I will pay extra to go somewhere else next time.

The Rose makes me smile. How many women can say that about the place they get their mammograms!? From the moment I checked in ... to being escorted to the dressing area ... to standing before that machine, I felt like the staff cared about me. And add to that great care the fact that as an insured woman, Im helping offset the costs of an uninsured woman ... well, Im convinced no better option exists.

The actual mammogram experience was good, but when it came time to them sending results to another facility they failed miserably. I went by personally to pick up the CD with results and delivered it to Womens Hospital. When it was time to compare new results with prior results, the CD was blank. It took the Rose over a week to get a new CD to the facility and the whole time I was waiting to hear if my breast cancer was back. In the past, I have raved about the Rose, but no more as they should be able to do more than just an mammogram. For the reason above, I would not recommend them to anybody. Furthermore, I am not going there to get any services from this point.

I have called 3 times to make an appointment for my mom and have yet to speak to a representative. Each time was near 40 minutes before I hung up. Its laughable that their automated voice message system says wait time is 10 SECONDS. They have an option to leave a call back message, but their mailbox is full too so you cant. This was a referral, but no thanks. Ill find an easier booking for my mom elsewhere.
