I have been going to Golden Touch Massage for almost 3 months now and all I can say is I have consistently been getting one of the best and most soothing massages, every single time. The atmosphere is very relaxing and for that hour my muscles and joints get the focused and undivided attention they deserve. I most definitely recommend trying it out.

I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder two years ago and was referred to Golden Touch Massage. At the time, I could only lift my left arm to shoulder height. I was also experiencing so much pain that it was difficult to sleep. After over 10 weeks of physical therapy, there had been no change in my mobility or pain level. The doctor was beginning to discuss surgery. I noticed a difference immediately following my first massage. The massage helped loosen the muscles and allowed me to increase mobility. Shelly also put together an exercise routine so that I could work on specific muscles at home. She alternated the exercise program as I started to gain more mobility. Through Shellys efforts, I was able to gain full mobility in my shoulder. The doctor was so impressed by my recovery that he asked me for Shellys card. Shelly is also wonderful in relieving stress and back pain. As with the shoulder issue, Shelly put together some stretches that I do every morning to relieve and prevent muscle strain in my back. She is by far the best person I have ever gone to for a massage. I like the fact that her location has convenient parking and the massage room is clean and relaxing. She is always on time and professional. I credit Shelly with allowing me to fully recover from frozen shoulder without surgery.

Shelly is an incredible massage therapist. The atmosphere she has created is one of tranquility and beauty. From the time I make a scheduling call through the time my massage is completed, she is very professional and caring.

I was sent to see Shelly for chronic back pain and numbness/radiculopathy which extends down my leg. As great as the recommendation was, the work she has done for me has exceeded my hopes. The package of sessions has helped so much with the pain and tightness; this combined with the exercises she showed me have really improved my symptoms over time. The her guidance and therapy have helped me regain strength and to be more active. Until seeing her, I was considering surgical intervention.She has also been helpful with neck and shoulder knots/tightness as well. I walk out of a session feeling like a new person, and there is a lasting effect.I have received massage therapy in the past, but never could quantify improvement until Shelly. It only helps that she provides a truly relaxing and healing atmosphere.

I am a breast cancer survivor. I was referred to Shelly for help with pain on my arm & neck. After my mastectomy, I have had severe pain in my arm and neck and thought I would just have to learn to live with the pain. I had physical therapy to help me with movement of my arm after I had nerve damage when they removed lymph nodes & was able to regain movement of my arm, but still had pain. After a 2-hour massage I can truly say I had immediate relief. I walked out from there feeling a relief I had not felt in a long time. Thank you Shelley! You are a God sent person & I pray that God will continue to use you to help others with your healing hands.

I am a full time student who had previously injured my lower back in 2003 and went in to see Shelly this week for the first time for my typical stiffness,aches and pains. Along with working full time and being a full-time student I also have a horrible sleeping pattern and havent been able to sleep without taking OTC sleeping pills every night for the past three years. With that said...Shelly has the hands of a god! I havent had to take any sleeping pills in the last three days, my digestive system is back on track and my back feels so much better. I am so happy to have found her. Shelly really understands the body and is very knowledgeable and gives helpfulhelp information on how to better your body. Shelly is the rare masseuse/ healer who understands the biomechanics of the human body. I recently had back pain so severe it sent me to the ER, where I was loaded up with drugs and sent home still in pain. That same day I went to Shelly who quickly found the problem---a muscle in severe spasm. After she worked on it, I was surprised by the improvement! I returned 3 days later for a second massage and was improved 90%---without pain pills and muscle relaxants! I highly recommend Shelly both for acute problems and routine prevention.

What I have experienced with Shelly is definite healing of my torn tendon in my arm. I went to Shelly after my doctor diagnosed, through an MRI, that I had a torn tendon in my right arm. I had been suffering in pain for over a year hoping the pain would just go away. The doctors solution was to try physical therapy for 6 sessions and to give me a cortizone shot. The cortizone made the pain go away temporarily but by the end of the 6 sessions, I did not experience any healing in my arm and I did not have any relief from the pain which had returned as the effects of the cortizone had worn off. The doctors next steps would have been more cortizone and then surgery. I wanted to give something else a try before undergoing a surgical procedure which would have fixed the tear quickly, but also would have left me without the use of my arm for months. I first wanted to try another option which would not involve drugs or surgery. I went to Shelly seeking a more natural and less invasive remedy. Shelly worked very personally with me and took the time to understand what I was experiencing and worked with me through a very individualized combination of massage therapy, skilled techniques and exercises. I have now regained full function of my arm. Shelly is very knowledgeable of not only the muscular make up and functionality of the body, but also the therapeutic treatments and exercises to help heal and strengthen all of the muscles especially in and around the affected area. She understands that muscle memory is very important and retraining the muscle to regain its proper function if highly important for the healing process. I would highly recommend Shelly to anyone wanting to avoid an invasive procedure.
