I love ❤ this place. Super clean, super friendly and its great for both men and women. Reminds me of the spas in Korea. They hand you outfits that look like the squid game which you must wear in common area...note to me who wore a regular t-dress and had to change into the outfit. This place is where I want to bring my mom and it s 4 hours from her house. Love ❤ love ❤ ❤

The pictures made it seem bigger and nicer than what it was lol! It was a relaxing place, don’t get me wrong. It just was a lot smaller and was located in a sketchy looking area. The food was okay (live Korean food but this felt like cafeteria level at higher prices). The best parts were the salt room (size of a typical gym sauna), the big domes (can’t recall the Korean name off hand but you squat to enter and it’s really hot!) and the recliners upstairs. Solid 4 out of 5 stars for me.

If you live in the Houston area and have not given yourself a treat here, you just need to. This place is beautiful and eventful. When you are coming here, please don’t be in a hurry, you need about 4-5 hours to explore all the spa treatment; steam, cold, clay, etc .It is good for both male and female, it is an exciting place, you can go with group of friends to make it more fun, you can also stay all by yourself if you just want to relax, there is a cinema section and you can watch Netflix, there is a Korean restaurant too and you will love the food. It’s about $35 during the week to enjoy this service.nice customer service too.

Ive been visiting regularly since about a month after they opened and the facilities have remained top notch for cleanliness! Theyve grown their offerings and the only less than stellar thing about this place is the musty smell of the in foot bath room. I hope in the future they will return to being open 24 hours.

Day pass is worth the cost, but the massage services are over priced. We loved the variety of rooms to try and the saunas were amazing. The temps in the warm and hot pools were perfect, but the cold pool wasn’t cold enough in the women’s locker room.We booked massages online and they started right on time with a full hour. The style was acupressure and was decent enough. My masseuse was much more rough and did more deep tissue than my partners, which I do not have a problem with. They did not have a medical form to fill out in advance to warn of injury/sensitive areas. Over all, the massage quality should have been at a $60 price point, instead of the $100ea we paid. This is traditional style Korean spa, so get used to nudity in the baths, as it is required. This is all clearly stated on the website and should not be a surprise. The uniform is cheap cotton, but if you use the saunas, you will soak sweat right through them. They are unflattering styles, but we are there to relax and not worry about clothing. They did have cold towels available in the common area, but it would have been nice to see more regular towels supplied as well. There were also multiple water stations and trash bins around the common areas.Overall, the facility was clean, but some guests did leave towels and face masks in rooms. The staff did make an effort to check the rooms and clean up discarded items. There were some massage chairs that were out of service, but plenty of lounge and sleeping areas available.

This is a really nice spa. I wish they had more pools in the locker rooms. Also, being this is a traditional Korean spa the pools/saunas in the locker room are fully nude only. The little sleeping cubbies are nice and the movie theatre is a great feature. The food in the restaurant was pretty good and came in nice portions. We got a full body massage and facial, they kept leaving the room in the middle of our massage to tend to other people. The facial they just squirted some liquid on your face and rubbed it for 2 minutes so that could have been better.Overall it’s a nice all day spa and they are open 24 hours a day which is amazing. PLEASE don’t forget to stop by the massage chairs. They are divine 😩

It wasnt nice and different change of pace from what I usually do. I like the different rooms and the massage chairs. Its not a huge selection of stuff to eat or drink, and its a little high in pricing for what they do have. The price is good for Monday through Thursdays, I went early and it was a relaxing time. One of the drawbacks is the womans uniforms they have s, m, l and 2xl. Not xl. Its a good place if youre wanting to relax for a little bit, if you want to get in the bath Id suggest you go early. Otherwise well be there with a bunch of people. The front staff is friendly and the food stamp is friendly, the women who work in the locker rooms, it is kind of stare at you, not so friendly, dont say anything. The lady at the massage place is friendly as well.

This place is a must!!!!! I wish I had pics of how lovely it is inside. I took a girls trip to Houston just to visit here and I dont regret a second of it. My only suggestion is to visit on a weekday to avoid some the crowd. Each room had so many pros that I dont have a favorite place. The most surprising of all the features were the massage chairs. Theyre like individual spaceships that cradle your ENTIRE body and massage you from the bottom of your feet to the back of your head. I couldve stayed in the chair the whole time and wouldve gotten my monies worth. Then there are the super hot little huts that you basically have to crawl in if youre over 58 like me but the detox you get in there is incredible. They have an ice room, a movie theater, a clay room with interesting art on the wall, an oxygen room, a foot pool which is the only spot that didnt impress me and another sauna like room. After you pay entry, everything else is free except food, professional massages and nail services. Please plan to spend several hours here. If youre only gonna go in each room for 2 or 3 minutes and then leave, youre doing yourself a terrible disservice.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! I had the most amazing time at Gang Nam Spa! The cost per person to the spa facilities is $39 per person, and with that you get access to the warm and cold baths, and the steam and dry saunas (gender separated and where you must be undressed). You also have the Coed facilities (where you must wear the uniform they provide) like the Salt Room, the Cold Room, the special high heat saunas, the Clay Room, and the Foot Bath. There are plenty of places to sit and relax if you need to work on something or take a nap. There are also massage chairs, personal places to lie down, and a restaurant (must pay separately for food). I would say it is definitely worth the money, you really get what you pay for. They also do massages and nails for an additional price. Definitely coming back from now on.

I went here a couple of weeks ago. It is a good spa. Very clean, they have multiple temperature spas and a nice dry sauna. I do not use wet saunas, but they have one of these too. Upstairs there are massage chairs, they do massage and other services, there is a movie theatre, really hot rooms, oxygen room, other warm rooms of various temperatures, a place to get some Korean style food, and much more. Amazing!!! They have an ice room (69-70 degrees), a Himalayan pink salt hot room, a foot spa room, an oxygen room (where the air is so crisp!) and another couple hot rooms. I went in with some aches and pain and walked out a brand new person! Not to mention their 0 gravity massage chairs. The women’s only spa area was extremely clean and well kept and I would recommend the body scrub! Will definitely be going back. The snacks and food are a little overpriced in my opinion. A lot of little places to relax. Bring a book or something to do if you’d like and relax in this oasis that feels like an out of Houston experience!

A Korean spa offering massage and body scrubbing services.Pros: Clean, offers several amenities including a snack bar and movie theater (see website for a list of amenities).Cons:-massage/body scrub prices are overpriced. Additionally, you have to pay for a day pass.- cafeteria serves fresh food however the preparation leaves something to be desired. Expect to pay on average $15/dish. I ordered the bimbim bop and the vegetable pancake. It reminded me of cafeteria food, bland and lacking the quality you would get at a restaurant. I was disappointed that the bimbim bop came with ground beef. The vegetable pancake was soggy and chewy and came with soysauce. Typically a korean pancake will come witha special dipping sauce. I would skip the restaurant next time.

The atmosphere is great. Everything was very clean. However, beware of getting a message from this establishment. They require you to sign a waiver for a reason. I received a massage on September 9th and Im still having neck and shoulder issues. The masseuse did a technique involving a towel which wasnt beneficial to me at all. It is now September 21st. I went inside without any issues and left worst off. The masseuse didnt discuss with me how firm I wanted the massage to be. I must say, I was very skeptical when my husband brought me here at 9pm but when we left, I was very glad we came. Though, at that hour the main spa services werent available, the self care options were and I enjoyed everything. We spent time in the foot spa room, the oxygen room, salt room and some hot box space. My husband chose to sit in one of the massage chairs but I chose to lounge in the recliners and got some shut eye. This place is huge but thankfully it wasnt crowded as I was anxious about being around others. Of course we and another man were the only ones with mask but again, there werent many people at all. For context, we were able to be in each room alone. I cant wait to go back so we can try out the sauna and some pool/hot tub they have. We also want to nap on one of these really cool cubby spaces they have and try their restaurant. Over all, enjoyed our time at the spa!!

They had so much to do there. The Groupon really made this a wonderful deal for me and him. Inside they had a theater, a restaurant, massages chairs, hot and cold saunas to name a few.I loved it he loved it and we are going back. We are going to make this experience at this establishment one of our go-to places to just get away. To relax and just have a good time or even self care and me time. Sometime I may go without him sometimes he may go without me.I guess I wont reveal to much or say to much in this review. Ill keep it short and sweet you just have to go see for yourself. Traveling from Austin we had 3 locations we were looking at. My fiancé was nervous considering he had never been to a Korean bathhouse and it was a culture shock for him to be nude in the beginning. We got there right at 9:55 am and the customer service was tentative and kind. We went our separate ways. The facility was very clean and beautiful. I had a body scrub and was happy with the precautions they took to keep sanitary and safe. Everyone naturally kept space between them and relaxed. My fiancé enjoyed the Ice Bath after getting into the hotter baths. The CoED facilities were nice. They have Osaki and Titan Massage Chairs. Salt rooms, Foot Spa, Kilns, 02 Rooms, Theatre, Lounge area for individual napping and one up above where 2 people can lay near each other. We also had a nice lunch. Overall my fiancé and I had an amazing time and he is excited to go again. He said he even wants to do the body scrub!

This was the first time coming here. This Korean bath house was only okay, which is why I decided to give three stars. the sauna rooms are smaller. I guess on certain days two of the sauna rooms are unavailable which then really just leaves two small hot sauna rooms, one ice room, oxygen lounge, and one “foot spa” room. Out of the two available rooms at that time, the largest room fits at most 7-8 people. The decor seemed a bit cheesy. The rest areas seemed more for sitting and eating instead of resting. I probably wouldn’t come back and I probably wouldn’t recommend.

I will highlight this spa first then I will compare it to King Spa in Dallas.- This place is beautiful! The look and style as you walk in the shower rooms and the common areas is very pleasing and calming. There are multiple rest areas to just relax, lay about and take in the ambience. The heated floors really makes a difference on your feet.. The saunas and different heated rooms are a must try as well as the oh so amazing massage chairs! (Love that the salt room is big.) I enjoyed using the sonic vibration machine but not as much as the relaxing soak in the hot baths. Food is amazing and if there is an issues, the cook or staff is quick to help you out and very friendly.- Compared to the spa in Dallas: Yes this place is smaller, yes there is no Waterpark, yes there is less variety in rooms, and yes that it is pricier BUT there are certain things in this location that makes it stand out more. The cacoon areas is private and you dont have to worry about someone right next to you. The use of massage chairs included in the entrance fee makes a difference since actual massages are an extra charge. Love having the seperate shoe locker and the lockers in the changing area is not stacked up in 2 rows. The vanity area is much more indulgent to use. Although people may argue the foot bath is so-so, it is still great to have after going through the different rooms. Having natural light come in the common areas overall gives it a look and feel of cleanliness. (I have a preference for natural light coming through windows which King Spa does not have except in the waterpark area.) PLUS they give you a bigger towel to use. For those who are not familiar to korean spas, having the bigger towel can help those adjust when they enter the bath areas.Overall, both spas have their perks and downsides. For Gangnam Spa, its definitely worth going. I went on a weekday and on a Saturday. I find that I prefer weekdays just cause of less people. (Applies to both spas)

I’m giving them 4 out of 5 because they still have room to grow. For $49 weekend entrance fee, I expected more. Upon check-in, the receptionist should give you info about the place especially when you tell them it’s your first time. The place is all brand new and clean. However, there’s no attendant to pick up used towels left in the wet area to keep the place tidy. I also saw a guest walking inside men’s locker room carrying his boots. He was not guided. There were guests who just arrived or came from sauna, sweaty and all, go straight to the jacuzzis without taking a shower. It’s either they have not seen the sign or not aware of the spa etiquette. Either way, the management should find a way to let all the guests know they have to take a shower. The food and drinks in the restaurant are overpriced. Ramen for $9.99? It’s literally a ramen you buy in the grocery for less than a dollar and they just added egg and spring onions. Almost 1000% mark up for anything is too greedy. I saw in an interview the owner explained why he didn’t want to serve alcohol in the premises, to avoid nuisances from drunk guests. Well, I didn’t see drunk guests but kids playing and shouting in the common area as well as adults chitchatting in the co-ed saunas where you’re supposed to relax and recharge.

Loved this spa experience. The food choices are tasty but rather pricey for what it is. Its good food just not high end.

I decided this type of place isnt for me. Im sure folks love it but there were only 2 things I liked here...the ice room and the massage chairs.

I went there yesterday to buy 10 tickets and to book premium scrub or massage for me and my friend, massage was not available for the time I want but I booked scrub. Today when we went in, front desk girl verified my name and an appointment. 15 minutes before my premium scrub front desk was telling me that it was booked for another person. My friend and I were so angry. Fodd that we always used to order was not as good as it was. Serivce was poor. I am so disappointed. We plan whole month to go there and horrible service to deal with instead of relaxation.

The hours on website say closes at 11pm on Fridays however at 8pm lady said they were closing. So they need to update business hours. I paid $50 bucks for 2 hours. Very disappointing.

Excellent spa our first time here, didnt know theyve been open for 10 years. Baths were fantastic, all saunas were great, resting areas, massage chairs, food. Very nice, very clean; but could use some polishing up on the glass that is the balcony railing barrier.

I had a great first time visit to the spa. It was very nice and very clean. I stayed for 6 hours and did not want to leave. Plenty of things to do. Will be going again soon.

Go here for a very relaxing day! You have to make appointments for the massages, etc. We called before we went and asked and they said no appointment necessary. They should have mentioned that you need appointments for the extra stuff. Other than that, I would have given them 5 stars.
