Walked in with sore neck muscles, it was very hard and painful to turn my head to look over my shoulders, and when I walked out i had full range of motion - needless to say I felt great. Ill come back in a weeks. Thanks to the staff for being cautious and having the areas very clean.

I visited into Awesome Massage last week due to having some pretty severe muscle tension in my neck and upper back. I was living with this discomfort for quite some time and being the first time Ive ever received a professional massage I was a little nervous and didnt quite know what to expect. The manager Barry was very kind and was very helpful in getting me to relax. The environment was very soothing with humidifiers running and a very enjoyable softly lit and relaxing atmosphere with soft music playing in the distance to help one to mellow. I could tell that I would enjoy this place as soon as a walked in.After a quick free shower in the washing area which had great therapeutic equipment I sauntered back to my room where the deep tissue massage I received was top notch. I could instantly tell that Barry was a very skilled massage therapist. I told him were my problem areas were and he was very attentive to my personal issues and I could tell that he was really trying to help me and not going through the motions which was greatly appreciated. After 60 minutes my muscles were relaxed to a point where they have not been in months and I got up feeling rejuvenated and more relaxed than I remembered was possible. I will absolutely be returning and I highly recommend them to anybody who is dealing with pain or even just trying to relax. The place really lives up to its name and truly was an awesome massage.

I received a massage as a gift. When I walked in I was greeted my Lulu. She was very accommodating. She made sure I was comfortable during my massage. The only thing I didnt care for was the massage areas did not have closed ceilings. Other than that every thing was fine. I will be go again. Thank you Lulu.

I really like this place and come about once a month or more for either a full body massage or a foot massage.Barry does a wonderful job as a masseuse. Last time i went was after a marathon and I was very sore. Barry combined swedish, thai, deep, and stretching and after an hour in his hands, i felt so much better. He really got into the massage and it was a perfect combination to address all my issues but still an enjoyable experience. Be sure to speak up on what you want and you will get a massage tailored to your needs.Ive gotten the foot massage once and was also very satisfied. It lasts 60min with the first 10 minutes a shoulder massage and the last 15min a lay down back massage...which is nice after having your feet concentrated on for over 30min. Unfortunately I do not know the ladys name who did my massage but her foot and back massage was great and price was awesome! I have my next massage tomorrow - perfect for a work lunch break to unwind.I would recommend this place to anyone.

Intensively painful shoulder and legs after long race during weekend. Found awesome massage on Groupon, same day appointment made easy with Barry. Greeted by Sofia the quite, clean massage shop. Sofia is very professional, and have a great experience on clients with post-sport musuls like me. She also gives many useful advises on self-recovering. The full body one-hour was very helpful and you feel the difference immediately before and after and session. Thanks!

This is a very nice, clean, almost luxurious place just off Bellaire Boulevard and the Sam Houston Parkway. I had made an appointment with Barry following many emails in which he answered all of my questions with promptness and courtesy. He greeted me in the entranceway of the spa and I found him to be even more courteous in person. He gave me a complete tour of the facility and pointed out the room where I would be having my massage. There was serene music playing, candles burning, and the pleasant fragrance of aromatic oils. I opted for the 90-minute massage, which was excellent. Barry spent a full hour on my very stressed-out back and shoulders! The massage was just the right combination of deep and light pressure mixed with some Thai modalities. Afterward, I felt calm, relaxed, and rejuvenated. I recommend Barry highly.

I called after I purchased a groupon to set an apartment a lady answered who said she was the owner.She was really RUDE after trying to reason with her and not really getting anywhere due to she wouldnt listen I was attempting to ask questions about scheduling.She got very angry because I purchased with groupon. Might I remind you she is the one choosing to advertise through Groupon not me. She said they dont pay her. Very nasty attitude dont waste your time and give a person with such bad attitude your hard earned money. I got a refund real quick.

I recently purchased a Groupon for this location based on the decent reviews and the great rate online. I was truly looking forward to my spouse being treated to a resting and relaxing massage since he had injured his back and desperately needed some TLC.However, when he arrived 5/26/2016 he was met with a lackluster staff that were argumentative about his Groupon use even though when his appointment was made and we were clear that the Groupon would be and could be used for this date/time they wanted to make a big deal about it being used and had to call Barry, the manager to confirm the usage. This appointment was made well before his arrival time and even before I confirmed purchase of the Groupon to ensure it was legitimate.Anyways, my spouse finally gets his massage after the initial agitation from the staff only to be asked in a very unprofessional demeanor by the masseuse of “so are you going to tip me now?” He of course said yes that he just had to get his wallet out of the car (he didn’t know if there was a place there that he could store his personal belongings so he left them in the trunk just to be safe). Well the masseuse then proceeds to have an attitude when he mentioned how he just needed to get his wallet out of the car and proceeded to walk to the parking spot right in front of the entrance door only to turn around with wallet in hand to see the staff lock the door behind him.I am not sure what kind of business is ran with such a deplorably unprofessional staff with clearly NO customer service etiquette but this entire experience was the exact opposite of what he needed and what I paid for. Wasted money and time dealing with this staff.I have a suggestion for management, if you and your staff have an issue with people using Groupon or want to treat them like second rate guests then do not advertise on Groupon. Absolutely ridiculous that your staff is so comfortable to ask about their tip, never in my life have I ever heard of that kind of audacity in the service industry… and FYI I have and still work in the service industry. Either train your staff on proper etiquette or expect to lose a lot more customers!

I came to this location with my boyfriend after seeing the Groupon for it a couple months ago. When I called in to ask a few questions and make an appointment, the receptionist told me to just come in soon. She also advised me not to buy the groupon and that they would honor the groupon price of $40 for a one-hour back massage. Since I know that groupon takes 50%, I followed her recommendations.We were asked to fill out a form when we first arrived, much like other massage parlors, that asked us about our preferences and our aches and pains. I had been feeling some mad back pain and spasms from bending over a lab bench 10 hours a day 7 days a week, so I was greatly looking forward to this.The massage area is set up so that there are two rows of massage chairs in the center of the room with doors to individual rooms lining the edges of the room. Since we had opted for the back massage, we were led to the individual rooms. One major flaw was that there was no option of having a couples massage together in the same room. My boyfriend is always a little apprehensive about coming here because he is never able to communicate with his masseuses. After being led to your room, you are then invited to undress down to just your underwear (no bra, ladies) and prostrate yourself on the massage table until the masseuse knocks to ask to enter.I always ask for Sam, who is actually also the manager of the business. Sam is amazing. He is very professional, very considerate, and very good at what he does. He can feel the knots in your back and is wonderful at working at them. He even brought out the tiger balm to rub all over my sore back, bringing back a very comforting smell from my childhood. He always tells me how terrible the knots in my back are and makes recommendations about how often I should visit him to resolve the problem (its nothing ridiculous nor does he make it sound like a simple ploy to turn me into a money cow), yet I unfortunately can never make it on a weekly basis. Whenever I make a return visit, he always gives me ten to fifteen minutes extra (I think its because he feels sorry for me). I always walk away from our encounters looking as if I took a beating to my back (my boyfriend definitely got some glares when we were at the pool the day after my first visit with Sam), but the next day, I am always feeling 110%. My back spasms have also stopped after my first appointment here.I take off one star though on behalf of my boyfriends experiences. While I am more than pleased with Sams skills, my boyfriend has never found a masseuse there he is comfortable with. My boyfriend is a big guy with several good-sized knots ins his back as well, and none of his masseuses are able to apply the pressure he needs. One masseuse had even tried standing on his back after the poor woman could not apply any more pressure, but it just made his experience more uncomfortable. I think Im going to have to share Sam with him!

Rara manera en la q este spa funciona. He started texting me asking for a voucher # and i dont even arrive there. Then i asked the name who i am talking to and he refused. He just said i am the manager. It was weird...no? I was texting to someone idk who that person was and did not want to give the name. Wierd way to run business.
