RUN! DON’T WALK FROM THIS DOCTOR AS FAST AS YOU CAN! I had a heart ablation in 2015 and he burned a hole in my esophagus! I ended up being Life Flighted to Herman Hospital where I found a competent doctor who knew what he was doing and who saved my life. Thanks to Dr. Sharma, I was given a 20% chance of survival. I survived but I will never be in good health again! He should be barred from medical practice.

My husband, Ron Compton is a patient of Dr. Sharma. We were referred to him with a great recommendation from Rons cardiologist because he was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation. He performed an ablation procedure on Ron and he has been doing very well since. No more afib.

Fellow heart patients... I had 3 ablations from Dr. Sharma - the first two were unsuccessful. I was willing to give it one more go because 3 is a charm and the fact that he came highly recommended. Up and until this point, I totally trusted Dr. Sharma. While prepping for the surgery, Dr. Sharma allowed a doc that had just completed his cardiac electrophysiology fellowship by the name of Khashayar Hematpour, to place the catheter in my groin but without guidance. He went through my vein and nicked my femoral artery. When I was in recovery and the catheter was removed, I started to bleed out. I had grown men putting so much pressure on my groin to stop the bleeding to no avail. Eventually they placed a ball in my groin, wrapped a belt around my body and pulled the ball down into the groin area to apply as much pressure as they could and it slowed the bleeding. I was given so much morphine that my breathing had become so labored that my friend had to put oxygen on me and tell them to STOP giving me morphine. The nurses tried to reach Dr. Sharmas PA, Tracey, who was in the hospital but she never responded - not even through multiple calls and hours later. I am severely disappointed in her as well. It wasnt until a nurse bent down next to me, crying ..saying Mam, I am trying to do everything I can for you - I dont know how I got the strength but I called Dr. Sharmas office - his emergency staff paged him and he called me back to say he was on his way. I dont remember much after that as I was in and out of consciousness. Within 20 minutes he and Dr. Hematpour came blowing through the door saying I accept full responsibility that must be code for something because they didnt even get their hands slapped....they did eventually put me in a room. It wasnt until the next morning when my Hero, Dr. Oscar Rosales, came into the room, felt my leg, which was ice cold, (I could hear them but I couldnt open my eyes) and starting yelling I need a vein mapping STAT - Ultimately I was taken in for immediate surgery and spent the next two months on my back. I dont want money, what I want is for people to beware, and for every time that those two touch a patient, that they remember me. Obviously through another post Dr. Sharma punctured a ladys esophagus too... Dang!!!
