Dr. Castillo has saved my life several times. He knows more than most doctors I’ve seen. I like him as a man and love him as a doctor his staff is very observant.

I found Dr. Castillo to be a very attentive and caring doctor. He spent considerable time with me and left me with the impression that he truly cared about me as his patient. I did not feel like a number to him. I will continue my care with him and reccomd him to others.

This doctor exceeds all expectations and loves his patients. He ensured that my mom overcame cdiff from chronic uti infections. I am eternally grateful for his caring nature and expertise. I would not hesitate to recommend him. He was heaven sent and gave us precious time with our mother. The doctors at the hospital refer to him as Einstein of Internal medicine. He certainly lived up to his name for us when others could not help us.

I had made multiple attempts to visit the doctor, however I’m the past their office hours are not as flexible as many other offfices which had caused myself to reschedule. The team ther is NOT responsive, does not return phone calls or leave voice messages, they will avoid allowing you to speak to the doctor and the front office team is extremely nonchalant. Since relocating to Houston, this has been the absolute worst experience I’ve ever encounter until the point I will now search for a new practice that may better assist me.

Arrogant, rude and condescending. He actually said to me I hate to burst your bubble, but the two strains of staph you have are nothing. Like I wanted to be deathly ill for three years! After having to harass him multiple times for the test results, he acted put out that he had to actually call me back and didnt explain anything very well. He spoke so low I couldnt hear him and I asked him three times to please speak louder, I couldnt understand what he was saying and desperately needed this information so he spoke SOFTER! I couldnt believe it! I had to keep asking him to repeat it and please speak up yet he didnt do either. He contradicted himself in two separate phone calls also. I recorded every horrible encounter and phone call I had with this man as proof. His staff was nice but appeared to be afraid of him. Understandably so since he treated me like dirt and made me feel like I was a hypochondriac for even being there. I went to him for help and he treated me like he could care less what was wrong with me and I was inconveniencing him by being there! Once I asked for my medical records, THEN he was nice.I have no idea how he got good grades on Healthgrades because IMO this doctor is an arrogant quack. Beware!

Very rude and misdiagnosed my problem. Acted as if he was doing me a favor paying him for his service, which was horrible. Will never go back.
