Do not use this agency! The RN makes visits when its convenient . Horrible and unacceptable!! Were suppose to get two visits a week, and they show up twice a week every other week! Also, if you call the agency, its hard to find someone that answers the phone. The only asset they have is the Physical Therapy!

THE WORST HOME HEALTH AGENCY!!! Please save yourself the trouble and frustration and stay far away from this agency. I have been working as a home health aid for this agency and from the very beginning there were issues with my pay. I either didnt get paid on time or didnt get paid at all sometimes. Every time I contacted the woman in the payroll dept. she was very rude, vague, and unprofessional. Then in Dec. I wasnt paid for around 3 months and they said it was an issue that my patient needed to take care of so I understood that it was out of their hands. Then after my patient took care of their part I still never received my checks in the mail. So I made a compromise with them and met with a lady from the agency at a gas station to pick up my checks that I had been missing. The woman I met with was also VERY unprofessional and rude. I remained very calm and polite despite the woman speaking to me like I was a toddler she treated me like I was incompetent for not knowing which vehicle she was in as it was my first time meeting with her. She started to yell over my question saying IM DRIVING IM DRIVING IM DRIVINGGGGG!!!! I have never been treated or spoken to by an employer or staff member the way that I have been while working for this agency. She finally gave me 3 checks that didnt even halfway equal the amount I was supposed to have been paid but yet again I remaimed calm and let it go. I cashed my checks then about a week later I get a phone call that my checks were blocked and that I now owe $300 to PLS Check Cashing. So I explained to PLS that I had no knowledge that these checks were blocked. They seemed to understand the situation and advised me to call my employer. I called the agency a little while ago and of course the same payroll lady was very rude and tried to blame everything on me the entire call. Then when I tried explaining to her the situation because what she was saying was completely wrong and not at all how things happened she very unprofessionally started yelling over me telling me not to scream at her. Mind you I have 2 toddlers that im a single mother of so I let her finish yelling then reassured that I wasnt screaming at her and she replied well you raised your voice. So again I explained I have 2 toddlers and they were screaming so I was just trying to make sure she heard me over my kids. She then basically said that I wont be getting paid until I resolved the issue with PLS but im not paying $300 for something I wasnt even aware of. She said it was my fault that I shouldnt have cashed them. So I asked her how its my fault if I was in NO WAY aware that I couldnt cash my checks and if I wasnt supposed to cash them WHY WERE THEY GIVEN TO ME TO BEGIN WITH?! If they were not meant for me to cash them then why would all 3 be gathered together with a sticky note and paperclip and sent with a staff member to meet me at a gas station where I waited for an hour and a half to be given checks that I wasnt supposed to have. Why would you even send them with her to emd up in my hands if THEY WERENT SUPPOSED TO BE CASHED??? As far as PLS I know it wasnt their fault because they cant tell a check is blocked until after its been cashed. THIS IS COMPLETE NEGLIGENCE AND NONPROFESSIONALISM FROM THE UNITED AMERICA HOME HEALTHCARE AGENCY. Now im still on the schedule and have been allowed to clock in the past 2 days yet the payroll lady says they arent going to pay me. So why am I on the schedule?? People dont work for free. This is ridiculous at this point.

The entire staff are great and such a pleasure to work with. The condition of my grandma was getting worse at home so I knew she needed assistance. A friend from work referred me and they took it from there. Professional caregivers, all extremely kind and well-mannered. I highly recommend United America to any individual seeking home health aid. They took the weight off my shoulders. Thank you all so much!

Horrible agency!!!! The ladies are very unprofessional and do not pay you for all the hours you worked. These people are more like a scam than a health care agency

Ive had several interactions with family members who had needs (Medicaid & Medicare) & the listed their experiences with other agencies. I sought the services of an agency that we could relate to. This agency met the mark. Patient, caring & diligent. Going above and beyond is 2nd nature especially with the patient attendant services via Medicaid coverage. Sincerely appreciate this agency taking my family as one of their own.

We have been with United America Home Health for nearly a year and after going through many agencies, I feel that we finally found an agency compassionate, professional caregivers who genuinely care about the health, well being and safety of my parents. Stella, the owner, is amazing....she has been there when we have had unusual situations pop up and been supportive toward our caregiver needs for my parents above and beyond. Thank you!!!!!

In this agency they do not check the background of the personnel that they send to the patients homes and this is very dangerous. They sent to the house of my disabled brother who cannot walk or eat by himself a person who supposedly was certified and qualified in the care of disabled people and they picked him up and dropped him to the floor and hurt him, he was also giving him all the medicines at the time. More than 7 pills at a time and he took off his clothes and when he bathed him he checked his wallet and stole the money that they had paid him from the social security disability and he had in his wallet and left. He left him alone without eating and he stole it.
