I called the member services number and asked for a list to be emailed to me of pediatricians my son could see. I was on hold about 3-4 minutes and she came back and gave me the name of one doctor. I explained that I would like to do my own research and not just go by one reps suggestion of one doctor that she found... only to be told I could have a list mailed to me which would take about 5 business days to arrive. My son will be discharged before that and I’m told I need an appointment ASAP. If you can mail something to me, I’m certain you could email me. The rep was non responsive to my sense of urgency. I let her know I will just likely pay out of pocket because I can’t find anyone myself in my area. She seemed to be very pleased with that response and glad yo be done with the call. Every other insurance provider I’ve ever had has been exceptional. Very disappointed I chose community health choice for my son. I will be shopping around. Also, if you respond to this review, I’m not on social media so I cannot contact you via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

On minor issues the customer service reps need more authority to resolve issues. The movement of physicians and hospitals in and out of network is problematic. If a physician has been treating you for a long time for a complicate case no one wants to change because the knowledge base about your case is lost.

This is a low class, petty and cheap establishment. I’m embarrassed to be associated with this business. I’m really curious as to why this company is quickly able to access my account information when you are (by error) charging me for 2 months, yet fail to locate me when I am reaching out to utilize your services.Also very non professional, tacky and under developed of this business that doesn’t want to cover a measly $30 medicine that I actually need. I pray to god that I need major surgery this year and hopefully receive a return on my investment of this β€œcompany”. My experience with community health choice has been amazing. When I was in search for finding the right insurance plan. I had mixed opinions. But this is one insurance company that has amazed me and helped me throughout my treatment plan. I recommend everyone to go for this company without any doubt. Although community health choice is a local state organization. However, in my opinion, community health choice is far better than all the other big insurance companies like BCBS, united healthcare, or Aetna. They genuinely care for you and hear you out so that you get the right treatment you need. We had a uniquely complicated case and community health choice also assisted us with a complex care management team that supports you to make sure you have all you need. It is indeed a patient-centric insurance plan and not just trying to make money like how other insurance companies are. I heartily want to thank Community Health choice for supporting and understanding us throughout and for always been there whenever we needed it. I once again highly recommend CHC and would thank them for everything they have done for us. I would be so happy to see CHC getting more recognition in the future.

I renewed my insurance plan, paid premium Dec 30th. Website shows I am paid up, and in good standing as of 1/1/21. This weekend I tried to refill an essential prescription. Pharmacy told me that insurance said i was not covered. I contacted Novartis over weekend and was told my plan was terminated on 12/31. And that i was not the only one.. I spent over 4 hours on the phone on hold. The option to receive call back ..did not work. The web site states that text Messages received during business hours would be returned that day....It was delivered but no response. My message via Messenger i received response around 3:30 pm and they asked when would be good time to call. I stated Now. I finally received a call after my pharmacy closed at 7 pm. The representative was very nice but did not solve my problem which was getting prescription filled today. She forwarded on my issue to eligibility department but still no prescription. I went to extra effort to contact doctor and get refill authorization in plenty of time. But somehow, somewhere....ball got dropped. And community health choice does not make it easy for someone to get any answers....Up till now I have been pleased with Community health choice...but this wasted day and weekend has me very disappointed.

I went with this health care insurance company through Marketplace at the last minute in January. I was very skeptical looking at some of the not so good reviews on here. I really didnt have no choice. I was previously with United Health Care through my job and it was pretty cool for the most part. However this company blew United Health Care out of the water for me! I have no issues with my primary care doctor,specialist or prescriptions! On top of the healthcare representatives that answer their 1800 number are always helpful and makes sure I solve any issue before hanging up!

I’ve been waiting on a claim for months to be approved. It’s been over the 45 days allowed by law and I have called and called and called with no call back. Every person that answers the phone has a different answer for me which tells me they aren’t trained properly. I have spent so much time on hold to get nowhere, even though they’ve assured me my claim is a covered service and they don’t know what is going on. Supervisors are always in a β€œmeeting” and no one has called me back regarding it even though I have made at least five requests for them to do so. I’ve called around 10 times for weeks with absolutely zero response. Stay away from this insurance unless it’s your only option.

Im writing a review based on the representative who assisted me. Not the company itself. Her name was Liza. She was absolutely AMAZING! My son had been to the ER because a few days prior hed accidentally gotten hit by his eye with a stick while playing with his younger cousin and wasnt given a prescription for pain (eye drops) due to an eye injury. However they did write a referral. To 2 Ophthalmologists that not only could not see him that day but was on the other side of town. 48 minutes to be exact. And my 13 year old son was in my bed crying in pain. I called his eye doctor who told me they wouldnt accept the insurance for anything but annual eye exams and it would be $150 out of pocket. Not including 2 medications hed end up needing. I called the insurance company. Thank GOODNESS I GOT Liza on the phone. When I made the call I had just pulled up to Wal-Mart parking lot and didnt have the papers from the ER with me. This young woman stayed on the phone with me for 5 minutes until I made it home to look at the paper work. Then stayed on the phone for an additional hour at the least (could have been longer) until she found a doctor who not only could see my son the same day, but with-in an hour. 9 minutes away from my house. Who accepted the insurance so it was fully covered, and the medication would be covered by the insurance as well. She stayed on the phon with me until the appointment was confirmed and made sure I had all the information I might need as well. IF THIS ISNT GREAT MEMBER SERVICE I DONT KNOW WHAT IS. Worst health insurance company period! Worst call service system as well. Keeps giving me prompts to make a payment but won’t connect me to a representative. Have had them for years but the one time you need them you are left on your own. When it comes to collecting your premiums they are quick to request it. I don’t recommend this joke of a company to anyone. Premiums are high, co pays/ deductibles are also high. What’s the point of having insurance?

My entire family is very grateful for Community Health Choice. Without it, we could barely make it to begin treating my fathers cancer. Every experience we had with Community Health Choice was excellent. The customer service was good and the representatives were courteous and attentive, most importantly could answer my questions or point me to the right direction. Even though a lot of treatments/procedures need authorizations, they were always approved in a timely manner without delaying any medical treatment for my father. There are many providers who accept CHC, which is crucial. Now my father has medicare, we will always remain grateful that there is such as a helpful insurance we can count on in our local community.

I have been with this insurance company for 2 years. I have made payments on time for the last 2 years. Up until I tried to make a payment for December of 2019. There was a balance of 466.00. I have paid without missing any payments for the last 2 years. I called and spoke with someone named Shari for 41 minutes and was told that the Problem would be resolved. I called back to follow up and was told there was no record of the call. Even after giving the reference number. Not only that, I was told I haven’t been covered for insurance since July. And I have made payments faithfully. Now I’m currently on the phone again with another agent Shawnee another 40 minutes, and told I will receive a call back. With another reference number. I have proof of every payment made so I should have been covered.

Ever.Cannot get an in-network specialist from customer disservice closer than 100 miles away.Paid two billing cycles before receiving an ID card AFTER calling customer disservice 3 times and asking to speak to a supervisor.Here are the tricks to get service:1. Find an in- network provider, any provider, and name that doctor as your primary. You will then get an ID card. Go to any in-network Dr. you want after that; does not have to be the Dr. You listed as your primary.2. How to find a specialist close to you. Give customer disservice a zip code in the town in which you want to go to for a specialist. I live in Bridge City. I asked for a specialist using Beaumont zip codes. VOILA! Otherwise, customer disservice will give you the name of a specialist located too damn far to drive away.

For the past few months, I encountered some issues where BH company couldnt help me locate the right provider for my children. Within a few hours, Community was able to resolve my issue by finding a doctor and even setting up our appointment. The Community Health Choice Team is very passionate when it comes to helping their Members that I wish my issue would have been sent to them since the beginning. Having staff that cares is important. This company has made significant changes to their processes this year that has made it easier for members to enroll and agents to get answers. As an agent who works with this company, I can tell you that I have been nothing but impressed this year at their ability to answer the phones about 80% of the time, if you leave a voicemail you will get a call back generally within 48 hours and their online enrollment platform is amazing.For the 2017 plan year, there arent many options out there and this one is proving to me that they are in this business for the long run. I can only hope and expect that their customer service will continue to be helpful throughout all of next year!

Run! Have had nothing but problems. They have too many internal issues to keep up with your health insurance. Took forever to get issues resolved in order to get ID card and proof of coverage then somehow dropped the coverage a few weeks later despite receiving all premium payments. It was a very complicated situation involving changes to my daughter’s 2019 plan which then affected our 2020 open enrollment. Throughout the time it took to untangle the issues, Erica Garza was helpful and professional. She took her time and didn’t stop until she had resolved every issue. A employee was acting aggressive towards me like she wanted to fight me I let the manager know about the situation she told me that the situation was handled and that everything was good and like a snake she went behind my back and got me fired FOR DOING THE RIGHT THING, mind you I did not initiate this whole thing, the other employee still has her job but she was the one who aggressively came at me. Not sure who is getting my premium of $177 a month? Now it’s $533 and canceled, I can’t ever find a live person to chat with. This is ridiculous. Someone finally, after days and weeks called me a little pass 9 am today. She said my policy was terminated and to even get it reinstated I had to pay $533? I asked why was I terminated, she was I missed some payments I proceeded to tell her its hard to speak to anyone who is a PERSON, anyways long story short I will find another Health Insurance. The coverage is pretty good for the price but the customer service is very poor. The doctors who take the insurance often dont know if they accept the insurance or not. When you call Community Health Choice to try to get clarification, they will transfer you and then their automated system will tell you to call later. I just had the misfortune of spending the better part of a day trying to ascertain if some labs that my doctor wanted to run were covered by my insurance with Community Health. I thought it would be a fairly simple process, however the billing department was unable (more likely unwilling) to provide some necessary information in order for Community Health to advise me on the coverage.Here came Kiara P. with Community Health to the rescue! She patiently listened to my issue, even with my frustration clearly coming through. She took all of my information and spent a great deal of time researching what was needed in order to advise me what tests would be covered. She was very helpful, very knowledgeable (I did not have to explain the situation to her several times, like I did to the four other people I spoke to at the Dr’s office) very kind and patient. I am very grateful for her help and willingness to go above and beyond, so I would not have to avoid getting these tests done, for fear they would not be paid for. Harris Health System and Community Health Choice, terminated my husband, who has terminal brain cancer on November 27th because, and I quote, he was approved to be on long term disability, his employment was terminated. So MANY balls have been dropped on this it just infuriates me! We had no idea that was going to happen and made no plans to be ahead of it. TODAY, I find out that his HR person didnt submit any of the paperwork to continue his Life Insurance Policy and they want us to spend $700 a month to keep that going. Because SHE dropped another ball and didnt submit any paperwork!! Im so sick of dealing with these people and their complete incompetence! And this company is supposed to be there to help people that cant afford health insurance get quality care! Yet this is how they treat their own employees!!

Ive had this insurance company for the past three years. Its honestly pretty good coverage for the price. However, the customer service definitely needs a lot of work. They contacted me coming up to this years renewal to inform me of policy changes that would affect my coverage. The representative matched my current coverage with the new policy offerings to make sure I got the exact same coverages. This would have been great if she actually knew what she was talking about. Come to find out she left out a crucial detail regarding the change in copay to cost shares for certain procedures. Her misinformation subsequently has made me unable to afford any of the outpatient procedures my doctors had me lined up for in the new year!

Just to give you a scenario of what happened, I had my newborn on coverage, paid money for two FULL months with the down payment, spoke with a representative to be enrolled in auto pay. All good, right?!? Then come to find out her contract was TERMINATED 30 days later with NO NOTIFICATION, NO CALL, NO EMAIL, NO LETTER, NADA!!!! I am so disappointed with this company. The one time I use their insurance medical coverage to do a preventative procedure, I called their customer care and asked them to recommend a doctor that is in the network. I follow procedure fully and submit my insurance information to the doctor and hospital which was fully authorized prior to the procedure. After the procedure was done, I receive bills for denied claims. This is absurd. If I had known I was going to pay for the procedure, I would not have done it. Again, I did follow proper rules to seek a physician within the network. I am so so disappointed and would never recommend Community Health Choice to anyone ever!!!

Bless their hearts when theyre good, they great. When theyre bad, they are TERRIBLE. I mean it. Community Health Choice has been a blessing as far as benefits and coverage are concerned. We get plenty of bang for our buck when it comes to premiums, coverage and benefits. If we had dental and vision along with the medical, itd be the best company to go to for Marketplace Coverage.Alas, the customer service is bad. Automated voice messages wasting time, ineptitude for posting payments and reporting active coverage so we can see our doctor keep this company from being great. If Community Health Choice had more staff and more effective bookkeeping for updating whats supposed to be updated so customers can see their doctors and get their medicine using the benefits listed in coverage, itd be a great company to seek medical insurance.Its definitely hit or miss when you go with Community Health Choice. If they continue with their ineptitude, Im probably going to have to obtain COBRA thru my former employer if the Marketplace doesnt let me change from the Community Health Choice. I have had health insurance with most of the major insurers in Texas. I always had some issues. However, I cant sing praises loud enough for Community Health Choice. They are by far the best health insurance company I have had since 2002. I have no complaints whatsoever! Thank you Community Health Choice!

Community Health Choice is the best health insurance plan offered by far, for several reason if you need a Marketplace plan. First of all, CHC is a non-profit provider and pays its claims like clock work. Secondly, Ive been with CHC , for 4-years renewing my plan in 2020 and had BCBS the first 3 years of Obama care 2013-15 and without a doubt CHC is at least 20% less in overall out of pocket expense than BCBS Thirdly, CHC is weeks faster than BCBS when your PCP refers you to a specialist. In fact, with CHC you dont have to wait weeks, you can go the same day if the specialist has an appointment. 4th, CHC pays me $100 a year in gift cards from your favorite retailer, to get diabetic eye exams, A1C & cholesterol test and so on. And I might add these health perks make great stocking stuffers. Finally for someone who needs to see the doctor 3-4 times per year, like me Community Health Choice Market Place Plan, for Houston is your best choice.

This is like having no insurance at all. maybe if you are run over by a truck it would be worth it. I had last year a Bronze plan and pay only the copay for my medications and this year without any notice on the same plan, they decided to charge full price for medications towards your deductible. Summary insulin last year $75 This year $1100 plus an increased monthly premium. They are ripping off ..the customer, the government. This country needs urgently to solve health care affordability. Young families are working for the insurance and pharmaceutical companies.UPDATE: This canned responses from CHC wont take you anywhere.

Marketplace insured: This insurance company does not notify customers when the payment does not go thru, via email, I have told multiple times tio email me notices, my health us in the line and it never happens.When doctors call to very, no mention of a grace period is informed to them, all they are told is the insured is payed until October 31st and has not paid...no mention of a grace period at all. This has happened 3 times where my appointment is canceled. I call community and am told the same darn thing. I even spoke to the sign up rep when they called me to renew my benefits. How am I to know my payment did not go thru if im not notified. I am a diabetic type 1 and need to see my specialists. It takes 3 weeks to reschedule them. And that is 3 weeks without a prescription refill. Go somewhere else for benefits, my son got approved for Medicaid and both will consider new insurance providers.

I wish I could give them negative 5 stars. I got married in the middle of the year and tried to enroll my spouse and daughter but after being tossed around from department to department for weeks, they finally denied adding them because we had missed the deadline... I had feared this would happen and I had clearly stated it to them but despite the assurance that I was given, they denied it. You get what you pay for and for the sake of God, do NOT sign up with these people. You are better off paying a little bit more and going with reputable company. Very shady people here. Do yourself and your family a favor, STAY away from these people.

If I could rate no stars I world. The customer service is incompetent and will tell you one thing and do another. Lord forbid you have a life emergency and get a little behind on payment they will suspended your insurance even if you pay it before the end of the month it is due and refuse to let you use it again until you pay a month in advance. They care nothing about the customer or their life. They are perfectly fine with leaving you in a life threatening medical issue and tell you oh you cant use your insurance thats paid for but go to the hospital and eat that bill even though the hospital says they can do nothing for you go to another dr which wont see you cause the insurance company says your insurance is suspended even though it is paid for.

Love this company!! They have an awesome customer service! I pay on time to keep my insurance cause I dont want to loose my converse for non payment. Just like any other human adult I verify with the doctor and the insurance if my doctor is in network. They have the best hospitals in network and best group of doctors! My wife and I recently went online to cancel our insurance, ending the month of March. We accidently submitted it to terminate the end of April. We immediately called in to fix the mistake. We were told there was nothing they could do to change what was done on the website and we are locked in until the end of April. Why would I want insurance I cant cancel? But we can file an appeal which may take 3 months. *eye roll*Ive gained employment with benefits but now my wife who is having a baby in April is stuck on the Community Health Choice plan which wont let us cancel when we want to. The website says it can be cancelled in 14 days. Dont hold your breath, we called to cancel mid March. Seems like a scam to get as much money as they can out of you.

Hello I’m here to give my take on the clinic my son goes too? My son has been here for couple of years in the beginning it was ok clinic clean, the staff seemed friendly, actually cared about my sons well being and health. However lastly, my personal opinion it’s very difficult to schedule an appointment with these people. It’s difficult to get someone on the phone to schedule appointments etc. I’ll called not long ago when I did speak to someone about an appointment for my son I was told someone was going to call me back to schedule an appointment and never received any calls. And this happened 5,6 times being told this and can never get an appointment. Now I think u may have to go online to schedule appointments. Also I been very unsatisfied with my sons visit when he was last there. Every visit is the same with the Doctor just basic routine checkup. Basically look at him and leave. No concerns or anything. They did bloodwork maybe twice outta the years of being a patient there. They never did and routine physical checkup on him especially with my son having high cholesterol. They did do his immunizations but need another at the age he’s at now but can’t get in there. I just never really gotten full answers on anything concerning his health and well-being. I been looking to try to find him another primary care doctor. I would give CHC a zero if it was on here just very poor customer Services. I would air out the doctors name but I’m not gonna do that. The experience for my son and I for the last 3,4 years has not been a great one. I also had problems at first them taking his insurance it’s a mess. Oh yeah thanks for the experience....

Zero starts if it was an option. Horrible customer service !!! I have spoken to 6 different agents in the last month. They always put me on hold for 20 -30 minutes. I have requested and I havent received my medical i.d. cards for 2018 and it is Feb. 2! I pay 1330.00 for a family plan and I still have to pay for every Dr. visit. My deductible is 6,000 per person and 12,000 for family. What a joke! Ive already signed up through another insurance co.and I am canceling my coverage with Community Health Choice today!

Update: The phone reps were useless. They kept pushing me off from one person to the next. So after a week of no progress, my husband and I went to the main office in Houston. The people there were so kind and helpful! Kareem handled our situation and within 20 minutes, our problem was solved. We were able to repay the voided payment and get reinstated. Thank God! Based on my phone experiences I was expecting a long wait, a rude representative, and to be redirected to another department. Instead, we were greeted with a warm smile, we were the only clients in the office, and Kareem was committed to solving our problem. Dont let thd phone reps deter you. Community Health Choice isnt the problem, the customer service reps are. I would strongly recommend to anyone having issues to go to the office. The phone reps are not a true reflection of Community Health Choice Insurance.

Total rip off. Changed coverage at renewal for prescriptions and now cannot afford basic care. Total rip off and I was not given the choice to change because I was not informed. I hate even having to give them one star. Use anyone else but this group. Pulls this stunt and the. They all act like they have no idea how this happened and then had their vendor get on the line and the finally confessed this has been a huge issue they were even unaware of. Recently, my wifes gynecologist performed an outpatient surgical procedure. I became concerned when a medical provider claim was denied and I couldnt decipher the reason code for the denial on CHCs online explanation of benefits. I phoned several times today but in the aftermath of Storm Imelda, I could not reach a CHC representative and the calls were transferred to an answering service. However, I was able to reach CHC online chat. The chat representative, Neyreda, was able to quickly provide an explanation for the denial (lack of providers CLIA number) and I in turn was able to contact the billing department of the provider and advise of them of the error in billing.

My experience? HORRIBLE. This is only the second time I have tried to call them with a simple question. Its virtually IMPOSSIBLE to speak with a live person. The only thing Im calling about is to try to find out a physical address (rather than a P.O. Box) to send in my payment. The P.O. Box address on the invoice is in Dallas. I pay my bills with online banking and if it goes to a P.O.Box, the payment takes 7 days to reach its destination. We live very close to Dallas (were in Houston) so I would like a street address to have the payment go to in Dallas. Although there is an office in Houston, I dont know if they accept premium payments. When I call, there is no option on the recorded message to answer my question. As I said, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a live person. The last time I tried reaching a live person. I finally quit after over an hour. I ended up having to send an email and just wait a few days for a response. It makes you wonder if there is perhaps one person who runs the office for Community Health Choice. God help you if you REALLY need to speak with anyone. This company is terrible.

After my payments went from $35.00 to over $500.00, I quit....period.I had paid a number of months ahead of time, and was promised I would receive the balance of almost $300.00 in a few short weeks. That was almost 1-1/2 months ago, and I am still getting a run around about it.If this was $10-$20 I would not really care much, BUT IT IS NOT.......A Customer Service Rep has called me twice, very nice lady who is actually trying to help in this situation. THE FINANCIAL Dept, which I think she said is part of the Harris County Health dept, handles the cutting of the checks for refunds. They are lagging and holding this up so I, over time, will forget about this ant they do not have to pay me back the money they owe me.I have news for yall.....I do not forget about almost $300 owed to me.Piss poor customer service, in some areas not all. Red tape and long wait times for anything YOU actually need or want.They want what is owed to them yesterday, on the consumer end, if we are requesting........be prepared to dig in and wait out storm as it were.Obamacare should have never been agreed to in the first place, no wonder all the Bigger Insurance Companies are bailing out of the burning plane, like rats in a flood.

They have been extremely helpful to me. One representative spent on the phone with me and Healthcare.gov trying to find a plan that met my needs. One of the Healthcare.gov representatives told us she had enrolled me in a plan that me my needs, then hung up. She lied about what she had done. The Community Health Choice representative got me through that and enrolled me in the plan I needed in order to continue seeing the providers whom I had been seeing for the past 7 years.

My name is Cassie Thompson, mother of 3. This is about a phone interaction with Yadira Briceno. Today my son was feeling ill and I needed to take him to the doctor. I remembered getting my oldests CHC ID card but not my 2 youngest cards. So knowing I was headed to the doctor I decided to call CHC to see if I can get those cards mailed out again. Thats when I got Yadira on the phone. Lets just say she was seriously an saving grace. I had to drop my oldest 2 off at school while trying to get an appointment to the doctors office. Then had 20 minutes to get to the doctors office while calling CHC. Yadira was amazing, honestly her calm voice while assisting me allowed me to calm down. My head was all over the place but when she said I see Carson is up to date with his check up, thanks for being so attentive to him. I literally felt this calming super mom feeling and then she said it again about my daughter Amari. Yadira in that moment you made me feel like everything Im doing is so worth being a mom. Im not sure you know how much of an impact you are on that phone with each call but Im telling you for me that moment was needed. Continue to shine through that phone girl... Your awesome and thank you for getting my cards mailed to me and also emailing me a copy of their cards.

Community Health cancelled my familys policy earlier this year. I was bringing my daughter to her doctor and the office advised that my insurance was delinquent due to non-payment. Puzzled, I called Community Health to pay my balance in full. I spoke with a Community Health representative and she gave me my balance, which I had assumed would bring my account current. And I asked her to enroll me in autopay. Thinking that my insurance woes were behind me, I received a letter a month later that my policy had been cancelled due to delinquency. I protested - I had just called and paid in full AND requested Autopay. But they said no, it wasnt paid in full, the balance I was given was incorrect. Great, that was their mistake. I wanted to just pay what I owed despite their error, but I couldnt get anyone to listen to me! I finally spoke with someone who I thought could help me. We got on a conference call with the Marketplace and Marketplace admitted their was a glitch in their system. I was now more confused than ever. What did the Marketplace have to do with Community Health cancelling my account due to delinquency? Aargh! The Community Health representative then said my account would be under review for reinstatement but there were no guarantees. This process could take a couple of weeks. Meanwhile, I have a whole family not covered. I receive a letter a couple of weeks later that we were denied reinstatement! Wow, just wow. And heres the kicker, a couple of weeks after getting denied reinstatement, I receive a Welcome Packet! No thanks! Ive already move on. This has to be the most disorganized mess of a company Ive ever dealt with.

On May 16, 2017, my wife went to get yearly physical with her PCP and had her labs done at the doctors office. 2 days ago we received a bill from the lab company for $761.00. When my wife called Community Health Choice on 8/21/17, she was told that the bill was rejected because it required prior authorization. The doctors office states that they were not notified by Community Health Choice until June 2017. Meanwhile we are stuck with a bill for $761.00. My wife did nothing wrong, she just wet to her doctors to receive her yearly physical. I need help. Any advise would be appreciated.

Not a good choice for insurance. We paid full price through Obama Care and they cancelled the insurance for no apparent reason in the middle of May 2018. The insurance was fully paid so it was a mistake. We didnt know until we tried to use the insurance 3 weeks later and found it was cancelled. We contacted customer service and they advised it was cancelled due to non-payment. They finally agreed this was incorrect and refunded our money a couple of weeks later. However, we could not get the insurance reinstated so had to appeal to Healthcare.gov. I transferred to medicare but my wife still has no health insurance. Their customer service is really incompetent. Same for Healthcare.gov.

They were better last year. The agent for them failed to tell us (5) people that the prescription coverage now has a 750 dollar deductible per person. They said genaric meds are 10 dollars. Found out thats only sometimes true. I will say theres not much choise out there. Their the best of the group thats available.
