Ermas has a wonderful selection of healthy food, produce, supplements, drinks, and so much more. The staff are so incredibly helpful and kind (Taryn!), I would feel safe dropping my 1yo off with them for a couple hours. Haha.They stock local produce and meats. They have a great selection of vegan food, both frozen, refrigerated, and pantry. Some of the things might be a dollar or two more than what you would find on Amazon or some big retailer, but youre supporting a small business! And often I find prices on items to be cheaper here, especially in their beauty and supplement section.I feel like I can trust the supplement selection to he high quality and that they dont stock anything that would be bad.I appreciate that they have always respected my medical freedom.

This place is great. It was my first time in but the lady that help was great. Next time I need to spend more looking around to see what they all have.

What a great store for having the ability to recognize the mask mandate is a placebo! Be sure to frequent excellent businesses such as this. If your that concerned about your health, Karen’s Should stay at home. God Bless this place!

I am very disappointed with the owner of this store. I used to love shopping at Ermas. I am celiac, and this store has a lot of food options for me. Apparently, even though there is a sign at the register stating that masks are required for all employees and customers, the mask policy is not enforced. In the last two months, I have shopped at Ermas 3 times. Each time, there are employees and/or customers in the store without masks. In fact, I was there today and the employee behind the counter was not wearing her mask over her nose. I also mentioned to her that there was an entire family walking around the store without masks. The response that I received was I am not the police. I stated that this is a private business and service can be refused. No response.Unfortunately, my family and I will never shop here again. It is too bad because I really like this store, but I cannot support a business that does not care about the safety and health of their employees and customers. So long Ermas Nutrition Center.

The selection is good, the prices are comparable to similar organic type stores. one of the employees wasnt wearing a mask and had a sign saying something about a medical excemption. she was at the register, and i wanted to wait for the other register to open but there were people behind meit made me uncomfortable and i dont begrudge her for not wearing a mask if she cant but maybe not be a front line position? there are lots of things to do in a store, if you cant wear a mask for medical reasons maybe not be the person in close contact with so many people.anyway, ifeel bad, i wont be going back until this thingi s over at the earleist.

The staff here is EXCELLENT!!! Everybody is knowledgeable about every single product thats in the store. They only sell the best product thats available. This is the only store I know that have a herbalist there that is available to assist you with any questions you may have.

I happened to stumble across this treasure. I stopped in and was very pleased with my experience. The selection of products was amazing. And the staff was very helpful. Amy showed me where everything I was looking for was at. And answered my questions with a smile. I highly recommend everyone stop in and shop to your hearts content.

Super friendly staff. I love that they have remedies for pets as well as a small selection of foods for them too. They have alot of fresh and cooler items that at times are difficult to find at regular stores. Waffles the llama even met one of their pleasant employees! Thank you again for all your help.

Nice people and lots of variety

Its a small store but packed with excellent products. A small group of employees who care about what they do. I have been buying from here for 8 yrs and I do so because of convenience and what they carry. Ive spent 40 yrs at Whole Foods in Dallas and Houston. And yes they carry more and theyre expensive. (Whole Paycheck) But if you want organic quality its not cheap. And for the convenience of a local store Ermas is my choice.Now I just bought a Buffalo Steak, cooked it this morning at work and WOW! An excellent cut of meat! I spent the same price at Randalls earlier this week for a Grass fed cow that was nothing but in-edible gristle!Thanks Ermas crew.. :)After reading some of these other reviews, if you want expediency in a check out line then maybe you should drive to Whole Foods (Amazon) in Houston and back.. Have a nice drive..

I agree with others, prices are a little higher, however I would be able to overlook due to convenience and good variety of items. What I do find inconvenient, and a little underhanded is, prices of items are not prominently displayed. Each separate item has to be picked up and examined closely to find a small printed figure tucked away in a corner. And in case you want to double check your receipt after payment, receipt only prints a price and item number (no description), which makes it impossible to do a quick check if you have more than 2 or 3 items. I believe this to be deceptive and a disregard to customers convenience.

The new store is absolutely beautiful. Ermas has all of your natural and organic needs for the Bay Area. The Staff are always friendly, professional and very informative. I always recommend this place to all of my friends for any healthy food and supplement needs. The Farmers Market on Saturdays has plenty of organic certified vendors. Definitely worth a visit if you have never been.

Going to a store ment for people to be healthy and finding half the staff is not wearing masks is like going to a submarine builder and finding they construct half the hull with chicken wire. Doesnt really make any sense.

The new location on NASA Road 1 (now called NASA Pkwy) is in the old Salvation Army building. Lots of free parking and a much bigger building!! Same great staff and some new folks all make for a wonderful Ermas shopping experience! Everything from organics to vitamins, and so much more! Plus they host a Farmers Market out back on Saturdays!! Definitely a place to get those great items chains grocers dont carry.

It was awesome there! Had a great selection of healthy food and produce, friendly and helpful staff, and they are always almost in stock!

Went there this past weekend and saw that the employees were wearing sheer lace scarves instead of actual protective masks. Not only is this disrespectful to the community at large, it shows a great disregard for public safety.

The people here are super friendly and helpful! They have a wide selection of supplements and organic fruits and vegetables. If youre a health nut, this place is definitely worth checking out!

This is a great place for everything from supplements to local organic food! The people are so friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help that you’ll feel like part of the family!They also have a Farmer’s Market on Saturday’s with local vendors of organic and non-GMO produce, foods, and products!

I mainly frequent this location for certain niche items on occasion. Oils, body wash and organic sanitary napkins (Theirs are the same as carried in Sprouts or Whole Foods for a less expensive price). The owner is already very kind and warm. The staff is friendly and welcoming as well.

Staff gave me a hard time about parking my motorcycle and proceeded to argue that he had not heard of motorcycles parking away from cars. I love to shop here but will politely move my business to a more welcoming local store. I chose to park near the building and outside of the walkway so that I did not take up a spot better suited for a larger vehicle and in no way impeeded any flow of traffic, pedestrians, nor flow of traffic into the store.

I would give 0 star if possible. I called and asked about a vitamin. I am 1 hour away and wanted to know price. The lady said she could not give me the price over the phone. OMG! RIDICULOUS!! Called another store and no problem giving me the price. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Will never go there.

I love Ermas! Despite many reviewers experiencing bad costumer service there, I have encountered the exact opposite. The staff is extremely knowledgable about their products and have even happily called the manufacturer of several products for me to get answers to questions that Ive had. They are also open to doing special orders on hard to find products. I feel lucky to have this sweet little individually owned gem near me.

It was nice lots of people but went smooth. Need some lessons on bagging, had cold stuff with box stuff!!! Very friendly staff!!!

Paid $6.50 for one ice cream sandwich (on sale), only to realize after leaving that it expired 3 months ago. After checking, I realized I also got chips that expired 8 months ago. 2 other items we got were also expired.Overpriced. We like to support smaller businesses, but you cant charge those prices for long expired products you shouldnt have on the shelves anymore. Service was friendly, but will never return.

November 2019 they relocated to beautiful new location!!! Bigger and better than ever!

When there are four people in line, with one lady buying about 50 items, and only one person working the front, open another register! There were at least three other employees there doing nothing, and they have more than one register. Not everyone that comes into your store has nothing better to do all day than wait in line being ignored. I left and was very happy to find my specialty items much closer to home at about half the price, without having to wait. When you treat customers like their business and time do not matter, you lose them.

I love this place. It beats driving all the way over to Whole Foods. They have a quaint farmers market on the weekend. You can order food and pick it up later. Kind of shocked at the poor reviews. I never check expiration dates and I have been going there weekly for over one year with no illness from the food. My medical condition makes it necessary to shop there because I cant eat most food from regular grocery store. It is small insude and a little quirky - not a supermarket - but a quaint neighborhood store. They have many supplements & grain free items that are less than buying online. I feel lucky to have this store. The arrogant snobs leaving 1 star reviews can drive on over to Whole Foods where I got sick after eating a salad!

This place is my natural pharmacy, no need for doctor after finding this place. The staff always knows a solution for whatever your having an issue with. They have wonderful local produce right at the front. My favorite part is how wonderful the staff is! Support this local business

Everything is over priced for what it actually is. I can go to Sprouts farmers market and find the same items for half the cost. Nonetheless I ended up purchasing an item, and the older lady working the register was quite rude. Im smirking right now because half of the reviews mentioned that as well. If you enjoy shopping here, theres nothing wrong with that (to each their own!)

This place is wonderful! I had been a couple of times and always love the things I find there. One night I search Clear Lake and this was the only place that carried it. Due to by long search I arrived a bit after closing. A staff member came out to greet me and let me know they were closed. I simply asked where else I could find Kombucha tea. They knew they were the only place and were so sweet and let me come in to grab a bottle. Their registers were done so they told me I could just take it and pay next time. TALK ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I just had a few dollars on me and I left it on the register anyway. Btw this was Valentines night and really made my gift extra special.

I never saw this store before so I checked it out while passing by. Very rude employees. Also very over priced and it’s hard to find the prices of items. There are no price labels on the aisles and shelves so you have to pick up each item and flip it around to find the price, as mentioned in other reviews.

I got to say this place is awesome for chilling out at the farmers market and the have the best root beer and honey sticks a teen like me wants.

I am giving the store a one star due to the customer service provided by Ellie (spelling?), the stores buyer. I called by phone to ask if spinach and kale was available and their prices as I was planning to buy a large amount (I have never been to the store and I wanted to inquire about the produce before making the trek out there the same day). She seemed annoyed that I would ask her to look up TWO items. She originally responded that she would go check the prices, then all of a sudden said she could not. I asked why. She said that due to public safety regulations that the store does not provide any prices over the phone.Hmmm...Even if this regulation were to be true, her attitude in general was offputting. I may expect this sort of service from a regular old employee, but she is the stores buyer. Lost my business before they even got it.

Everything is somewhat over priced. When I walked in, there was a creepy lady working at the register that never stopped smiling. Then I checked out and the strange smiling woman still never stopped smiling. This place made me feel odd and uncomfortable. I dont think Ill be back...

I wish the checkers at the register would be kind... The frozen meat and chickens are overpriced but very good.

They have a large selection of products but I have been in there several times and the people working there are rude and not very helpful,especially the ones at the register. Several look like they have been there awhile and could care less. I will be looking for another health store, there is one in Galveston that could not be nicer.

The Saturday market is an excellent initiative. In addition, they have many things that save you a trip to a Whole Foods, although perhaps if you are near a Whole Food it will be cheaper to buy it, but who would make that trip every day?
