My experience with Dr Funk and his team has been great. My issue was breathing and progressively worsening allergies. My nose was very crooked and nearly closed on my left side. Now I can breath better than I can ever remember before and my nose is straight. It looks and feels great. I highly recommend Dr Funk! He has such a calm, confident demeanor. Totally put me at ease and his team, especially Leah are genuine and caring. Outstanding!

My daughter got her nose done by Dr Funk and he did such an awesome job! His office staff is super sweet and helpful with any questions I had to ask them after my daughter’s surgery. At times I felt like I was bothering them to much on how many questions I ask and how many times I called but not once did they ever make me feel like it was a dumb question to ask and they didn’t mind on how many times I had to call them. This is the place to come if you need nose surgery. The job he did was fantastic!! My daughter is so happy and very pleased on the work that Dr Funk did. I recently had a Septoplasty preformed by Dr Funk. For years I’ve had breathing issues, a nose perforation, and a deviated septum… least to say a miserable time breathing out of my nose on a daily basis. Here I am a few weeks later, stints and stitches out, and this is the best I’ve been able to breathe in probably 5+ years, its an amazing feeling. Dr Funk did an amazing job with my surgery. I had no complications and recovery went well. The office staff here is so helpful, Leah walked me through my recovery and all of my questions, and Stephanie was always helpful whenever I called with questions. This is a great office with great staff. I’ve also gotten lip filler here and have really enjoyed the results from those. Overall, Funk Facial is a great and trustworthy place to go to, highly recommend.

Amazing job! I’ve always been super insecure about my nose since I was little now I love my nose more than ever. My confidence went up the day I got my cast removed and don’t worry what people think of my nose anymore because it’s literally perfect. I was scared and nervous at first but Dr.Funk and his team answered all of my questions and concerns before surgery and even during my recovery process. I got my rhinoplasty with Dr. Funk August 25th and by far it was the best decision I have ever made choosing him! He is amazing at what he does. The nurses and staff are also great and super nice. He talks to you directly and helps you create the nose you have always wanted according to your face. Everything was definitely worth it. The surgery went by so fast, the recovery was great, I had no bruising and the results were noticeable right away! I am in love with my new nose thanks to Dr. Funk!

Dr. Funk knows the right things to say but does not deliver. He doesnt care about his patients especially if youre ethnic, hes performing the same nose on everyone despite what you continuously ask of him. I was so beautiful before this surgery and stupidly thought Id feel more confident with a more refined nose. Now Im ugly with a deformed nose and mentally drained and feeling alone and at my lowest. I didnt think this could happen to me but it did. Beware!

My experience with Dr. Funk has been great! I am so happy with my rhinoplasty now that I am two months out. For about the first month I had a lot of swelling that distorted my face, but now I am looking better than ever!Consultation: I met with Dr. Funk and Leah during my consultation appointment. Dr. Funk asked me my concerns and he told me what he would be able to realistically correct. He showed photoshopped images of what I could expect to look like after surgery. Now that I am two months post-op, I can say that these images were very accurate! After meeting with Dr. Funk, I met with Leah who discussed the cost of the procedure and collected the consultation fee. They are both professional and kind!Surgery: Very easy! The most painful part of the surgery day was the IV in my arm. Otherwise, the pain medication completely dulled any possible pain.Post-op: Thankfully I had my husband to take care of me for the first few days because I was totally bedridden. Very limited pain – mostly pressure in my nose and sinuses. The medications are a bit tricky to time correctly, but Leah provides great instructions and checked in on me frequently during the first week post-op. I have had appointments with Dr. Funk three times since my surgery, and we have a few more appointments scheduled to make sure that I am still healing well over the next couple of months.Overall a great experience!

Be aware! Do not get blinded by good reviews like I did! First of most places don’t have consultation fee but here they charge you $200. I wasn’t sure about the surgery but I wanted to keep a date in 4 months to have enough time to evaluate my other options, and had to pay a deposit. Leah the scheduler told me over the phone that I can cancel up to 2 weeks before the surgery but if I cancel after 2 weeks my deposit will not be refundable. Today 2 months before surgery I decided to cancel and now she tells me that 2 weeks is only the period for rescheduling and my deposit is non refundable anyways. I can’t believe a bigger scam than this. Total fraud.

Recently, I had rhinoplasty and septoplasty surgery with Dr. Funk. I recently got a rhinoplasty here at Funk Facial Plastic Surgery. I had the best experience with Dr. Funk and his staff. They were very helpful from the consultation appointment to my post-op. appointments. Dr. Funk really is the best at what he does. And I couldn’t be happier with my nose!

First of all Dr. Funk is ridiculously talented, has such an attention to detail and his work ethic won’t allow him to finish up a surgery unless he is satisfied with the result, he absolutely exceeded my expectations. Dr. Funk takes the time to call the night after surgery to make sure there aren’t any complications and is readily available to assist if complications/questions arise. I approached Dr Funk after being diagnosed with a skin cancer on the tip of my nose. I’d been informed that the Mohs surgical removal process needed to remove the cancerous skin would leave a significant hole. Dr Funk’s office and his skilled work had been recommended to me for post-Mohs cosmetic repair by my dermatologist. Dr Funk and my cancer treatment doctor worked together to schedule surgeries on subsequent days. After meeting with Dr Funk to discuss the array of possible repair techniques, during the surgery, he was able to perform the least invasive option that still accomplished the needed repair. I’m very pleased with the end result. Without Dr Funk’s help with cosmetic surgery, this incident might otherwise have meant a permanent and detrimental alteration in my appearance. As it stands, I haven’t received a single comment or question. My nose looks great and cancer free!

I felt unwelcome and pressured the entire time I was at this office.I took my 19 year old daughter for rhinoplasty consultation. The Dr. didn’t show much concern about what we wanted.Although my daughter showed him a picture of the nose she wanted, but the nose he photoshopped was not even remotely close to what she wanted!You can see in all his before and after photos that he makes the same nose for everyone regardless of the facial features. 6 weeks ago I had revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Funk. I was referred to Dr. Funk three years ago by a credible friend in the medical field. I procrastinated for over a year before I finally made my consultation appointment... I recently went in for a ear lobe reconstruction after stretching my ears to an inch when I was younger. I did my research and found Dr. Funk would be the best to help fix my ears and make them look as natural looking as possible. Everyone that works here is beyond nice and caring. I had a rhinoplasty a month ago by Dr. Funk. I just want to say that it was it an amazing experience from start to finish. I was recommended by a friend which is initially what made me check him out, when I met him I loved his energy he wasn’t stuck up in superficial like a lot of plastic surgeons can be. He made me feel very comfortable and I trusted that he would take good care of me. I had a few questions, but during the preop appointment you are given every bit of information that you need to know. I was not left with a Lotta questions and having to call the office to ask if I was doing everything right or if everything was going great. I just knew it was. There was absolutely no pain, and I am not somebody with a hike pain tolerance it was uncomfortable feeling like you’re congested but it couldn’t have been an easier surgery to recover from. Bruising went away in five days bandages were off and 10 I was very happy with my results and I’m loving the changes I see in it every day.

Dr. Funk performed my Rhinoplasty about 2 months ago and I am SO HAPPY with my results. My nose was badly broken and I had a deviated septum. Dr. Funk is very helpful and thorough. He takes the time to explain everything there is to expect both before and after surgery and made me feel comfortable making this decision on the sane day I had my 1st consultation with him. After surgery I had very little bruising and the recovery time was quick. I called Dr. Funks office prior to the Covid-19 shut down, and made an appt that happened to fall the week Houston went into lock down. As soon as it was safe I had my ear lobe piercings fixed, they had just gotten too big to wear my desired studs over my lifetime. Im so glad I keep my new appointment. Dr. Funk, is so caring and strives to ask questions to help you figure out your why before just cutting into you. The process was smooth and pretty much perfect. I had a hiccup that was no fault of Dr. Funks, but due to the pandemic and doctors appts being hard to come by he was so great to help me out with the little issue I developed, which again was no fault of his, but he still saw me, and took care of my issue medically since all other doctors I would usually go to were online and booked, or booked for weeks in person. Like I said the issue was not related to the surgery Dr. Funk did, I think i just happened to end up with an issue on the mostly healed surgery site. If I ever have need of a plastic surgeon again I would without a doubt use Dr. Funk if the procedure was in his will-house. I just am two weeks away from taking the piercing studs out and going back to my favorite pair of earrings!! Thank you Dr. Funk!

I went to Dr. Funk in August for my consultation. I have been wanting a nose job since I was 10. He was very thorough during the consultation. He asked me what my personal issues were as far as the looks of my nose, and he listened to everything I said before he told me his professional opinion. I scheduled my surgery for October 29th that very same day. The surgery was actually pretty painless, as that was one of my biggest concerns. I am 7 weeks post op, and I have loved it from the start. I am still healing with a lot of swelling, but I am already very pleased and happy with the results. Everyone who told me not to get a rhinoplasty in the first place has come to be very impressed and happy with his work as well. I am very happy with my choice to go see him, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

I loved loved loved the result of my rhinoplasty! I was really blown away on how confident he was when he explained to me what he was going to do with my nose after I told him what I wanted. He answered all of my questions and is very kind ! His staff is also super friendly, a great experience over all. It’s already been 11 months since my surgery and my nose looks great! My nose skin was very thick so he said I still have 20% of the swelling to still come down. I’m already excited about how my nose looks now and I can’t wait to see the end results. I had both earlobes repaired and re-pierced. Emily did a great job with prepping me for both procedures. Prior to the procedure Dr. Funk explained everything in great details in regards to repairing my earlobes. After applying the local anesthesia to the ears, I didnt feel anything as he stitched the split earlobe together. Both earlobes healed properly and Dr. Funk pierced my ears and it was painless. I found Dr. Funk’s office through social media, and upon further research I decided to finally bite the bullet and get my nose fixed. It was no small feat, I had a large bump and my entire nose leaned to one side! Naturally I was very nervous, but Dr. Funk has an incredibly calming presence and was able to answer all my questions and ease my concerns. I had to take a COVID test a few days before surgery and the results ended up being delayed until the literal morning of my surgery (no fault of the dr’s, the hospital was just backed up). Leah, their Patient Care Coordinator, kept me updated with text messages, some even before/after business hours! She also provided me with very clear post-op instructions and made sure I didn’t have any residual questions before the surgery. Even in recovery, the staff was available to assist with any issue or question I had. Their attention to customer experience is impressive, and the best part, my nose looks great! Extremely satisfied with my experience, I would definitely recommend.

Dr. Funk and his staff are friendly, informative, and very professional. He did a skin graft on my nose after a cancerous spot was removed. I met him and staff in his office prior to the procedure and they were very informative and explained all of the possibilities of what the procedure could include. I’m sure he’s normally successful with patients but I was so disappointed with my procedure. I have deep scars on the sides of my nose and my nostrils are asymmetrical.. When I brought my concerns to him, he took a picture of my nose to show me it was in my imagination. He disappeared into his office to pull it up on the screen and I swear he photoshopped it. When he presented the big picture to me THAT is not what my nose looks like. It didn’t show scarring. It showed a symmetrical nose. I see myself every day. I’ve taken countless pictures of myself. I believe he alters photos to make you look better than you do after the procedure and to make you look worse than you do before. I would love to know if anyone else experienced this. But, I am sad to say after spending 10k I am soooo unhappy with his work.

I’ve been wanting my nose done for years, I probably first realized it was much to large for me face around 3rd grade. Although I knew I wanted this, I had no idea what to get redone or if it would even look good on me. I decided to still do research and start there to determine where I would even go. I found Dr. Funk when I was trying to find someone to help me breathe better. I could rarely breathe through my nose, and Im so happy I went to Dr. Funk to fix it. He and Leah were great, and they helped me through every step, from planning when to have my septoplasty to recovery. Dr. Funk did a really great job with my rhinoplasty. My nose was crooked from playing competitive basketball growing up. Now my nose is smaller and straight. I am only 5 months out of surgery so still waiting for some swelling to go down, but I am comfortable going out now. Dr. Funk was recommended to me by a specialized dermatologist. When I entered his office, I was bringing in a lot of trauma from two botched nasal surgeries after a horrible childhood fracture. Because this was my third surgery, I was terrified that it would leave me with more breathing and aesthetic issues. I am one week post op and I already could not be more thrilled with the results. My nose is no longer over-projected, pinched, or over-rotated. Its perfect! Dr Funk is an artist!
