Ebony was absolutely amazing. This was my first time waxing and I’m generally closed off and vulnerable as a younger adult. I just want to say for anyone who may be in a similar situation or have a child, friend or partner that is to try an appointment with Ebony. She made me feel very comfortable and turned an axions experience into a pleasant one. I actually look forward to my next appointment.

This was THE BEST wax I’ve ever had. Clean, professional, and thorough!!! No more speed wax at EWC. And I got the bikini facial. I already scheduled my next appointment before I left.

The waxing session was rushed and painful. At one point I commented on the temperature but was dismissed and told it would eventually cool down. How would it cool down if you don’t change the temperature setting? Also several areas were rewaxed which is a huge no no. There were too many strays left behind- which I was told was due to not being waxed in a while. I’ve been to another waxing salon and they made sure to be thorough- this is flat out lazy. The lack of care was very disappointing from the wax tech Alyssa. Had to use an ice pack when I got home from the pain. Will never return.

Ebony is amazing. She makes sure all hairs are gone, takes care of any in-grown hairs, and she makes sure you are fully taken care of from the beginning to the end of your wax. She reminds you at the end of each wax about care and how much time to wait before doing different activities which I love because I often forget how many hours to wait to do what.Darian (spelling?) at the front desk is amazing as well. She makes sure to offer you wine/water upon checking in (as Ive observed while waiting for my appointment to start), which I appreciated because after coming to Bare Necessities for seven months now, I believe she may be the first (possibly the second) time/person thats offered me wine/water before my appointment as I waited. I 100% recommend Bare Necessities as the customer service is great, theres plenty of parking, workers are personable, and the wax they use is painless and not super hard like European Wax Center

I bought the 1 hour back facial for my sister but it was only around 45 minutes long. Kinda bummed that it wasn’t the full time amount but I think there was only one person working so to give them the benefit of the doubt I think they were just busy. She said that it felt amazing so I’m happy that she enjoyed it. Other than that such a cute place. The people were super nice. My sister said that the overall experience was amazing. So I’m happy that she’s happy!

Ebony and the facial were wonderful and the other ladies very nice. Beware of uneven sidewalk at Richmond Ave. location, but I will certainly brave it again to experience this.

This is a smaller spa with a wide variety of services. I have only done waxing but Ive been extremely happy with my esthetician, Ebony. She has always been very honest and professional about what is or isnt possible and helped me select the correct services for what I wanted. Alyssa did an excellent job! She was very professional and efficient, but also very friendly. She made me feel incredibly comfortable, which helped me feel much more at ease! The spa was also very clean and they followed all COVID protocols perfectly.

I believe I went the ending of July beginning of August . It was my first time. I did the basic facial that they offer. All the staff was friendly and made me feel welcome. I was satisfied with my results. If you want to see a change on your face I definitely recommend to do a professional facial, afterward start a skin routine, and remember little is more.

I had not been back to Bare Necessities in two years because I just financially was unable to make a regular commitment. I also really want to have a good skin care regimen before I turn 30 so decided to get help! I came in for the bare facial and actually worked with the same esthetician as the last time, Alyssa. Alyssa was kind, knowledgeable, and made sure that the space was comfortable enough for me to ask questions and to feel very relaxed through the facial.The products she used felt great on my skin and smelled amazing. I have what I consider sensitive skin, a mixture of oily and dry, hormonal deep pimples and am usually weary of trying new products. I loved what she used during the facial and took home some samples of a cleanser. Although it has only been 3 days I feel as if my skin is already healing from a lot of damage form me touching my face and not taking care of it. Im really excited to see how this is going to go and plan to go more regularly.I would definitely recommend this spa.

Heres my awesome experience with the skin care products. I purchased a couple of acne clearing products through the eboutique. I received them within the following 3 days with FREE SHIPPING. The ladies were so sweet and gave me a little gift on the side! I tried on my products before going to bed and guess what? i kid you not, the next morning most of my acne scars and recently active zits were NOTICEABLY healed! (i wish i had a before and after picture to show) I am just so amazed at how their organic products can work so fast! Now i feel so hopeful and confident about my new routine :)

I love this spot and April!! Its a catch 22. I wish it wasnt so relaxing because I end up passing out a bit and then catch myself and then regret not being able to stay awake because it feels so good!!April was recommended to me from a friend and I can see why, shes amazing for facials, waxing, etc. April is very knowledgeable about skin types, textures and very careful on her analysis/suggestions for the facial types that fits my skin. She made me very comfortable and HER. HANDS. They are ridiculously smooth but perfectly strong for a stress-relieving face massage!! And shes standing the entire time she is working on you! Ive brought my mom and sister and they loved it as well. Receptionists are very welcoming too.

Something that could be a dreadful experience is efficient and less painful than you would expect. The ladies at the front desk are always friendly and I appreciate always being offered a beverage.

The salon is very cute and clean. They greeted me immediately and offered refreshments. The table has a warmed blanket underneath which is so soft and comforting.
