Our rescue dog Cookie is an highly energetic albeit anxious puppy whose high prey drive caused her to jump on everyone. Wesley worked his magic over 10 days to help Cookie transform so she could appropriately engage with us & others. He taught her basic commands and more that set her up (and us!) for success. My dog Margaret is a dog that’s a little too big to be untrained. Our friend saw Wesley training some dogs off leash at Home Depot and got his information. We took Margaret for a consultation and were so impressed with Wesley that we signed up for the 10 day board & train. I was very sad to leave Margaret but that quickly changed when I saw all of her adventures and progress on Instagram. She was so happy and excited to learn and got to visit a lot of cool places in town while doing so—grocery stores, Ross, Home Depot, dog parks, rail yards, etc. When we picked Margaret up, Wesley explained all of the commands and had us practice them. We took Margaret on her first walk today and it was so great! She heeled and we were able to have her off leash. She also quickly adapted her “place” command to her bed at home. We are so happy we used Good DaweG!

I gave Wesley a shell of a dog that had a rough start to life before coming to our home. What I got back was a confident, happy dog. He was able to get her to trust him and her surroundings, AND to perform basic obedience commands that I wasn’t sure she would get, especially so quickly. His communication with us through the process was amazing and made us feel connected and part of the process. Can’t thank him enough.

We had a great experience with Good DaweG! We brought our lab-mix, Margaret, in for a ten day training and we are thrilled with the results. She learned so much and I was immediately able to take her for a walk off leash in my neighborhood when she got back home. Wesley did an amazing job with our German Shepherd, Kora! We almost couldnt believe she was the same dog after she spent 5 days at board and train with Wesley. Wesley is fantastic and I highly recommend his dog training service! Our two doodles, who each have very different personalities and training needs, took to him immediately. They responded to him from day one, and he catered to each doods unique tendencies in order to get them to do what he wanted them to do. Even more importantly, he trained my husband and me so that we would get the same results. It has dramatically changed our home life with our sweet dogs. Our rescue Maggie loved her training with Wesley at Good Daweg. I’m so thankful for Good DaweG’s training! Wesley was so attentive with Coco. He also customized the training specifically for her. For example, Coco would go after waitress’ towels, so he took her to bars to train. She would also rush some goats in our neighborhood, so he took her to the lot to work with them. Coco was very tenacious, and I now have methods to get her under control. I also loved watching the daily Instagram stories while I was away. I could tell she was having a good time! I’m so thankful for the training, and the results exceeded my expectations!

Wesley is amazing at what he does. We are so impressed with his training and how fast our lab engaged with him from the moment he met him. Our 10 month lab did the 5 day board & train and we are absolutely happy and satisfied with Bear’s progress in that short amount of time. Good DaweG is the best! I found him on Instagram and saw how he works with the dogs through his Instagram story and I immediately knew he was the one for our dog. He’s so caring with the dogs and these dogs love him! Our lab is now off leash and can meet new people without jumping on them. We couldn’t be more happy. We were looking for someone to help us with our adolescent puppy who’s been having issues-we’re really happy we found Wesley! He was able to identify a lot of the unique problems we were struggling with and work one on one with us to teach us how to train our dog too. He is so flexible and we love that by coming to our home we can work in a more personal environment and he also takes our puppy to fun outdoor places like the park to make sure training is consistent. We recently went out of town and we also did board and train and got regular training updates :) Our puppy loves him so much and always has a fun and productive session. Puppies are a lot of work but Wesley has helped us understand what we need to be doing and also made our bond with our dog so much stronger! We’re a lot more confident in handling our dog now that we know what we should be doing to raise a good puppy :)

Good DaweG is awesome. Twice Westley, has come to my home for one on one training w/my puppy, Buddy. And both times my puppy and me learned a bunch. In fact, here was here yesterday 3/23/21 and showed me and buddy a Place for buddy to rest and chew his toys, now hes goes there on his own, beautiful!

I’ve been using Wesley since our Bernedoodle Buster was a few months old and he’s been great. Always on time and will deal with any specific issues that we’ve had each week, as well as continually training all the basic commands.He is very patient both the the dog and owner and has done a few sessions just with my kids to help them work with Buster too.Buster adores him and is always so excited to do his session. Would highly recommend!

Wesley knows his stuff! Our golden doodle Wilby is incredibly energetic and very difficult to keep focused. After 5 days of boarding and training, Wilby is a new dog. He obeys several commands, is leash trained, and is much more engaged with us. Wesley had so many helpful tips for us as owners as well. He made sure we could continue with the training our dog received and even build on it. We couldn’t be happier!

Our family decided to board and train our puppy, Gidget, with Wesley and Peyton after seeing a glowing recommendation from Facebook. After a long 10-day stay, Gidget came back home and has shown large improvements in overall behavior. I honestly know dont where to begin! I have an 8 month old German Shepherd puppy who is very spoiled and does whatever he wants. A close friend recommended Good DaweG and the rest is history! I contacted Wesley and he came over to meet my puppy Milk and in my head I didnt think Milk was trainable, he has so much energy and drive to do whatever he wants I thought I was asking for the impossible.The day Wesley came over to meet Milk he actually got scared of Milk for a second and in the back of my head I was like oh no hes just going to walk out, but he did the opposite. He saw the challenge, believed in himself and his experience and took the opportunity to train him.I sent Milk with Wesley for a week, he gave me daily updates and I saw the progress on his Instagram page, let me tell you I did not believe my own eyes. I had friends messaging me asking me how the heck is Milk doing that good.By the time I got Milk back he listens to all of the commands taught, he walks perfectly with me without pulling me down the street as I walk him (which was very embarrassing). All of my relatives with kids, their kids are no longer scared of him and are actually playing with him the whole time they are at my house.Everything was perfect and I cannot be any happier with the process and with Wesley and Good DaweG. If I was ready this review Id think everything sounds too good to be true and that he must be paying a premium to train his dog. NOT AT ALL. The price was very very fair and at any given moment I never looked back and though I overpaid!I usually never write reviews, especially this long but Good DaweG literally changed my life and Milks!

Our dogs just returned from a 5-day board and train and they are completely transformed. Through out every step of the process, Wesley listened to our concerns and provided us with constant communication updates and advice. Our dogs LOVED him. At the end of the week, Good Daweg led us through all of the new commands and techniques so we could continue to make progress at home. We have been amazed by their obedience and listening skills on walks and within our home. They stay in their place when the doorbell rings and no longer jump to say hi. We set out to look for trainers for our puppy. We asked a doodle group, got many of responses, which is why you are probably here, reading this review hopefully. People give recommendations, you read reviews and make a choice. One of the first things that made Wesley stand out is he wanted to meet our dog before he even started training, just to see if he would accept them. This made us feel a bit more comfortable. A bunch of other training places we talked to were basically doggy daycares with about an hr of instruction a day. We enjoyed that Good dog has a personal touch with dogs! We were honestly scared, Raja (our dog) was scared. Wesley eased us though this. We got great updates via Instagram, Facetime calls. This put us at ease. It was great to see him during training. Great to see him open up and flourish! When we picked up Raja we got a great introduction of how to keep up with the training that Raja has learned. Our puppy has been wonderful! Wesley and team are just great people! Wesley was as sad as Raja was leaving.
