The experience was excellent. I got right in to see the doctor at the appointed time. He was very efficient, listened to me, and gave me good advice.

Very nice office and friendly staff. The doctor was wonderful with my daughter. Parking was a little challenging but would highly recommend Dr. Powitzke!

Ive been seeing Dr. Powitzky for YEARS and have always trusted his expertise for my ongoing ENT issues. He is very good with General ENT issues and has insight with treatment of THYROID problems including nodules, masses, and thyroidectomy. His large ENT Group Practice moved out of the Medical Center to a location in Bellaire which is very easy access.Although his office is large and sees many patients daily, I was able to get in for a SAME DAY APPOINTMENT to get some difficult ear wax removed.I trust his expertise and opinions and have always been satisfied with my treatment plans since he uses shared decision making along with me. And along with his office staff that are well trained and organized to get everything done such as medication refills, recommended testing, and surgery scheduling, The Center for ENT turns out to be a very nice experience for patients. I will continue to use Dr. Powitzky for all my ENT needs as well as referrals from my own practice.

Dr. Powitzky and Yesenia(his nurse)are a wonderful team. Both very caring and great listeners to your problems. Always able to reach them during business hours. I have an auto-immune disorder that causes a lot of problems with my sinuses and throat. I dont know what I would do without their wonderful care. They make every patient feel like they are the most important patient in their practice. Medications always called into pharmacy on time. Couldnt ask for better care. Thank you for everything!!

When you have a special needs child, finding the right Dr is extremely important. Dr Eric Powitzky has been that Doctor for daughter. (He also sees everyone else in the family)When we first began seeing him, he was new to the ENT group, and he was so patient and kind, and truthfully, I thought over the years he would change as he became busier. But that has NOT happened. He has maintained his patient demeanor. He is so pleasant and upbeat, does not rush you through your appointment, is a non –alarmist and approaches problems methodically. He is not afraid to admit he is sometimes puzzled by symptoms, as my daughter presents him with so many challenges. But he always perseveres and sticks with the problem until he solves it. He has performed several sinus surgeries , all of which have been successful.Personally, he has taken the time to visit with my daughter and learn more about her and her life. Many times she has seen him in the office without me, as the patient-doctor relationship is so comfortable for her. He he lets her express herself, which is very important to her.He always takes her seriously. He will always return my calls and review the office visit.Being a Doctor’s daughter, I tend to search for a certain standard of excellence. Dr Powitzky is NUMBER 1 with my entire family. I cannot praise him enough!

Dr. Powitzky has worked with my family for the past 20 years. He has handled everything from strep throat to to removal of a brain tumor pressing against an optic nerve. Even though his stature at the medical center make his services in high demand, he always makes each member of our family feel like we are his only patient. I give him the highest recommendation.

Ive been under the care of Dr. Powitzky for ten years or so for sinus issues. I had previously been treated by a couple of different ENT doctors for a deviated septum, polyps, and reoccurring sinus infections, with mixed results and little relief -- about 90% of my nasal breathing remained obstructed. Dr. Powitzky diagnosed my problems, conducted successful outpatient surgery and restored my ability to breath freely through my nose. The surgery was done on an outpatient basis, with an easy recovery (no packing!). Im jogging daily now, have restored nasal breathing capacity, and a tremendous sense of smell, which had also previously been impaired. Throughout my treatment, Dr. P has displayed an incredible bedside manner -- he has taken a keen interest in my sinus issues, been there when I needed him, and is easy to communicate with (no medical-ease). I wholeheartedly recommend him as an exceptional ENT doctor.

Just had my surgery today and let me tell you Dr. powitzky is incredible ... super knowledgeable, exceptional patient centered care and incredible staff...it’s only been a few hours and I can tell my nose will me much better than before. He is THE Doctor when it comes to ENT!!Lost my voice for 7 weeks (scary)! Saw a GP, an ENT for 2 times who carried out 2 laryngoscopy with no clue what was going on with me! No progress within 6 weeks, after 2 visits and Hundreds of US Dollars for nothing!!! She finally admit she has no clue with what was going on me and blamed it on her equipment!!! Got really frustrated and asked her to refer me to a real ENT....I was lucky and blessed that I was seen by Dr Powitzky! He literally pinpointed my issue within less than a minute..... prescribed me the right medication which showed me THE difference within literally 48 hours!He further referred me to a CT scan just to be on the safe side... Thankfully was cleared as per Dr Powitzky...He fully explained my case and what courses of actions are needed over a specific time frame!!DOCTOR, YOU ARE THE MAN!!!I strongly recommend him without any hesitation to anybody with ENT issue....

Dr. Powitzky is the best ENT in Houston without question. I had chronic sinusitis for many years without realizing it until diagnosed through a CT scan with my allergy doctor. I went to some other ENT’s closer to my house and didnt care for them much because they didnt take the time to listen. When I first went to Powitzky it was a different story, he spent at least an hour listening to my issues and decided to try some medications followed by another CT scan to see if it helped my sinusitis or not with surgery as the last resort option. Medication didn’t work so I eventually had surgery followed by another surgery a few months later because one of the sinus cavities somehow got re-infected but since then I have been sinus infection free for 4 years now. I find that Dr. Powitzky really takes the time to talk to patients and not rush you out the door which is rare in doctors these days. I have probably had 50+ appointments with Dr. Powitzky and other than hating to drive to the medical center I have nothing but positive praise for him.

He is the BEST ENT in Houston. I had sinus surgery with another ENT but after my sugery he did not follow up with me which led me to go for the second surgery. I visited 5 other ENTs for the consoltant. All of them believed I have to do the surgery right away. I was so messed up. Eventually, I went to Dr. Powitzky. He cured me without the surgery and Its been more than 2 years that my sinus polyps has gone and its all because of his treatments.
