Dr. Nguyen took great care of my father and spent time explaining the required procedure and differential diagnosis to him. She also kept us updated with the lab/ test result which definitely helped relieve the anxiety. She is no doubt one of the best dermatologists in town. Staff was also courteous and well-trained. Would strongly recommend Premier Derm to all of my loved ones without hesitation.

Dr. Connie Nguyen is a top-notch, experienced board certified dermatologist. I work in pharma for a derm company so I’m a ‘tough to please’ patient and my expectations are high. About 4 years ago I started seeing Dr. Nguyen for rosacea brought on by too much sun exposure, which required both medication and v-beam laser for optimal therapy. I was hesitant on the laser treatment at first because it’s not cheap (not covered by my insurance). After trusting Dr Nguyen, I’ve since had 6 laser treatments over 3 years. The redness & tiny dilated blood vessels on my face are gone. She also got me to start using better products & higher quality sunscreen for my skin, and these have helped significantly compared to what you can buy at Target. Dr. Nguyen cares about her patients and she will go out of her way to get you the results you want. Is she sometimes running behind, yes. Be patient with her, she’ll be spending more time with you too.

Dr. Nguyen was just amazing. I was a little skeptical about going to a dermatologist since no one had been able to help me. Once I arrived I must say the place was clean, the staff was extremely helpful. Please understand my appointment was originally scheduled for 10:40 due to an injured leg it took me a little bit longer than anticipated. The staff was helpful and didn’t turn me away. I don’t know about anyone else, but that is a plus for me since that is what normally happens. The doctor was very knowledgeable and explained my condition, and why i wasn’t getting better. I have had acne since puberty and couldn’t seem to get it under control. I know now why I have had this problem. My visit today 2/5/2021 was the most informative doctor’s visit I have ever had. I was given additional options if the medicine was a little too expensive for me. I will be recommending Dr. Nguyen to my entire family, and she has gained a long time patient. Also, I have also referred my mother and brother who also had a great experience.

My two sons and I see Dr. Nguyen and shes always been very thorough, helpful and professional in her treatment. I have sent several people I know her way. She is very up to date with the latest treatment on dermatological issues and gives great lectures to her colleagues. Honestly, this place is great. Dont let any bad reviews scare you. I went in as a first-time dermatological patient. The wait time was short and the doctor was extremely helpful. She conducted two quick procedures for me in the period of two days. Im nervous around incisions, so the doctor was extremely careful to numb me up (A LOT). I literally didnt feel a thing. Not to mention, shes a lovely person with an easy bedside manner. I would come back to Connie for everything.

My mom had a growth on her nose for years that had never been addressed by any doctors despite multiple followups with her PCPs. I decided to schedule an appointment for her with Dr. Nguyen to get it checked out.The staff was very friendly and helpful, and my mom was checked in seamlessly. Wait time in the waiting room was probably less than 10 minutes. The office itself is beautifully and modernly decorated.During the encounter, Dr. Nguyen was very knowledgeable and compassionate. Though she arrived at a diagnosis in less than a second, she spent the time explaining to my mom what she had and the next steps in her management. She had her staff call to get my mom an appointment with a MOHs surgeon. This growth on my moms nose turned out to be a skin cancer that no one had ever caught! Her nose is now beautiful and cancer free thanks to Dr. Nguyen.I was so impressed with the quality of care my mom received, that I decided to take her back for a second visit for more fun things! I scheduled a cosmetic consult for my mom and Dr. Nguyen was able to take care of her with superb results. My mom was extremely satisfied with the cosmetic work she received.I highly recommend Premier Derm Center! Dr. Nguyen and her staff took good care of my mom, so we will definitely be coming back!

My recent experience with Dr. Nguyen involved a few different issues. I was very impressed with her professionalism and skill. Dr. Nguyen is not only a highly intelligent, knowledgeable and capable dermatologist, but is also a patient and caring doctor. She took the time to explain in an understandable manner the medical issues presented, offer treatment options while going over the pros and cons of each, answer all of my questions and make her recommendations.Once we decided on the treatments, Dr. Nguyen performed them with an obviously heightened level of professional skill and experience, which gave me great comfort. I was so comfortable with Dr. Nguyen and confident in her abilities that I was able to summon the fortitude to bring up with her a dermatological issue that was a source of severe personal embarrassment and that I hadn’t mentioned to anyone, including when I made the appointment. Dr. Nguyen resolved this issue for me and, to my surprise, somehow managed to do so without me feeling self-conscious or embarrassed. For that, I will be forever grateful to her.For all of these reasons, I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen.

Incredible how incompetent this practice is. The doctor has been consistently late for the scheduled appointments and is only concerned with the money that you will pay her. After being there for 40 minutes, 36 of those minutes waiting for the doctor to show up for work and 4 minutes seeing the doctor, I was relieved of 186$ because thats what it costs A professional practice shouldnt take advantage of their clients if they want repeat business. Ill be going else where, there are many competent dermatologists in town.

I have had great experiences here over the last 10 years or so that I have been seeing Dr. Connie. I am grateful for evening appts (after work) and I have never waited long for her to come see me. She has taken the time to give me a good look over, addressed all my concerns and I have been very happy with her service. I definitely recommend her

I have been going to Premier Derm Center for around 3 years. I have a lot of medical issues. One of which is sensitive skin. Any time I have had a breakout, I will call the office and they dont hesitate to work me in. If the medication I need isnt covered by my insurance, Dr. Nguyen doesnt hesitate to give me some samples. She is also good about looking up my symptoms and letting me read about the the treatment. I like the way she personally handles any complaints that I go to her office with. She is very professional and knowledgeable about her area of expertise. I like her as my doctor and as a friend.

I am very thankful to Dr. Nguyen because she discovered that I had melanoma and got me in with the specialists at M. D. Anderson immediately. I had asked several other dermatologists to do a skin check in the past, and they just did a cursory check. Dr. Nguyen inspected every inch of me carefully, and I am so glad that she did.

I am especially impressed as a former medical professional who asks intelligent questions having done my homework to guage the professional accumen of the provider. Dr. Nguyen is a consummate professional instantly aware of current treatments and you must not fear what a lesser professional might prescribe when you walk in asking about an ad you saw. She has seen the ad, knows more than you and will prescribe what is best for you. I had three skin problems she identified on site and confirmed with culture. The atmosphere is so pleasant and the demeanor of the staff so refined I am reminded of the days when people especially medical professionals took all the time you need to understand your condition, do not rush you and moreover heal you with kindness as well as medicine. I am thoroughly qualified professionally to advise you to look no further.

Dr. Connie is nice enough. Unfortunately, the staff and management is poor. I went through 7 months of accutane treatment here and had a terrible experience with them. The wait is consistently 45 minutes to an hour long. They also gave me other patients information. After I realized I had someone elses credentials, I called to explain and the man denied even talking to me. They wouldnt help or would choose to be very rude when finding medication. They wouldnt send my prescription on time either. This is a big issue, since the program is on a time frame. If you do not get the medications in time, it would be cancelled. This medication usually must be ordered due to the lack of stock in the pharmacies. I do not recommend this facility and highly encourage the doctor to find better ways to manage her staff.

I really should have used my better judgment when checking reviews for this place. I showed up 45 minutes before my appointment. I was taken into the examination room 15 minutes after my appointment, and the doctor arrived an hour after that to spend 10 minutes with me. She gave me a prescription for a medication Ive used successfully before but said I needed to order it from some pharmacy in Dallas. I asked if I could just get it at Walgreens and she made it clear this was what I needed to do. So, I went along and did fill through them and waited days for it rather than just pick it up. When I tried to refill the prescription, I received a call that I was supposed to come in again. My former dermatologist would include at least 3 refills before seeing me. The unnecessary appointments and using the mail order pharmacy all must make her more money. And while I dont deny anyone the ability to make a good living the only focus of this place is money, not patient care or convenience.

Very nice staff and doctor. My insurance gave me difficulty receiving my very needed medicine and kept rejecting it but the office spent a lot of their time to help me fight back the rejections and didn’t stop untill I finally got approved

I went there last September for a first appointment. I paid $25 for the consultation and then sat in the waiting area for 20 minutes without being seen. At that time I asked the receptionist how much longer it would be. She said about 45 minutes to an hour because the doctor was in surgery!! I asked for a refund as I was unable to wait an hour before being seen. I was given the refund, reluctantly. Then, yesterday, a year later from the original appointment, I was sent a bill for a NO SHOW. I had to call in to explain the situation, and am waiting for them to reverse the charges. What a hassle. Not recommended.

I first saw Dr. Nguyen in 2011, and she did a great job in helping me diagnose and manage my parapsoriasis. She had a pleasant and professional demeanor, and what I liked most was she took the time necessary to educate me on the condition and answer my questions: signs & symptoms, other conditions that appear similar (e.g. early stage mycosis fungoides), etc... I dont go hear anymore mainly due to moving around for work and personal schedule. I was also referred to another clinic that had a light box, which PremierDerm did not have at the time.The only growth opportunities I would share would be the wait time. I think it depends on which day and what time, but I remember the last couple times I went had around a 1 hour wait time with no warning.

I am such a grumpy guy I would of bet the farm that by the time I got out of there I would of tried calling the Pentagon with my Donald Rumsfeld impersonation to see if I could call in an air strike. Instead I was so impressed with Dr. Nguyhn I am giving her five stars and a happy face. If all doctors were like her I would get sick more often.

Dr. Nguyen is amazing! She took the time to listen to my concerns and explained different ways to treat my hormonal cystic acne. I went through one round of accutane with her guidance but still was having a few stubborn acne on my jaw area. I did not want to do another round of accutane (which is sometimes the case for stubborn acne) and she worked with me for other treatment options. We decided on microneedling for the stubborn spots and I have never had cystic acne again. It has been about 5 months post 1 microneedling treatment and I have not had any cystic acne breakouts.

I used to come here years ago and it was great. But now the reviews are on point. Dont waste your time coming here. I waited 2 hours to the point I dosed off twice in deep sleep for Dr. Nguyen to come in for less than a minute. Literally 1 minute. Its no way in hell you can assess a patient that fast. Didnt ask what treatments I been using or anything. Just offered me a $1250 treatment and a $160 cleanser she sells and said nothing else would work and the appointment was over. I will neverrrrr return.Update: After leaving this review they contacted me and told me to never return back to the clinic, they will not see me as a patient again. Funny because I never had any intentions on ever coming back.

Staff isnt very helpful at all, they tried to charge me $170 for a visit that should have been $25, did not even check with my insurance, until I refused to pay for it.Had to wait over an hour even though I had an appointment.Dr. Nguyen is nice, BUT extremely fast, I felt so rushed, I couldnt formulate my questions fast enough and left with a lot of unanswered thoughts. I am very unhappy with my visit.

Worst experience! Filled out registration paperwork online which took an hour. I explained my problem and insurance. Got to the appt., filled out more paperwork. Saw the doctor and was rudely dismissed because I could not afford the fee my ins would not cover. I could have been told this much earlier. Wasted 2 hours and still got charged $170. Ive been through a terrible fatal illness but with 10+ great doctors I survived and everyone of them was compassionate. Not so today :(
