Changing salon after a 17y experience with the same nail artist brings on a certain amount of anxiety. Then I met Nhi, her professionalism, English and courtesy were a welcomed surprise. She asked me what I desired from her service. Aside from the usual, I told her my main concern was NO cutting of my skin as Im a diabetic. She was super careful and continues to be. Yes, much to my surprise, my nails reflect my desires. I strongly recommend Nhi, without reservations, to anyone.

I personally didnt like it because she was rough and she wasnt very nice. Also as soon as i left the salon my butterflies that were on my nails fell off. I got sad and mad that they fell that quick .i personally wouldnt go back there.

Vidao Nails & Day Spa is a wonderful facility with great service, clean equipment, and excellent employees. Amazing pedicure! They took their time and my nails and toes came out really neat! I love precision!Edit 4 days later: The pedicure was definitely the highlight. Took their time and really cleaned my feet and scrubbed off all the dead skin. The manicure… it left much to be desired. Was very basic, but no issue with it until now. 2 days later my shellac/gel manicure started chipping on 1 finger. Now we’re 4 days post manicure and all but 3 fingers are chipping. It’s not just little chips, it’s literally peeling off in chunks. I’m not hard on my hands, I haven’t washed any dishes, did any makeup, used any chemicals, etc. The most I’ve done is shower. I would expect a $46 shellac/gel manicure to last at least a week. Normally lasts 2-3 weeks for me (at other places).This was my 1st time at this place. I tried it because they have really good reviews! Just FYI, as you checkout, someone offers a $5 coupon for a review, they wait until you write it, read it, take a picture for you, then post it for you. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to use my $5 coupon. I can’t see my self paying almost $50 for something that only lasted 2 days again.Also worthy to note, my toes still look great!

I just moved to Houston and needed a new nail salon. I came here for a pedicure and gel manicure. Pedicure was nice. However, when the manicurist took off the gel polish from my previous salon, she decided to use an electric file. I realize it saves time, but the salon was almost empty. My previous salon has always let the polish soak off and Ive never had any problems. I knew the file was going to be harsher on the nail bed, but I didnt want to argue. Big mistake. Now that 2 weeks have gone by and Ive removed the polish via soak off, my nails are paper thin and painful to the touch. One of them even has ridges carved in. And, to make matters worse, when I got the manicure, she bumped one of my nails with the uv light and smudged the polish. She and I both noticed immediately, and she ignored it, even though it would have only taken a couple minutes to fix it. The polish on the thumbnails was also uneven, like too much polish had been used. Including tip, I paid $75. I was a little irritated before about the mistakes but willing to overlook it because the manicurist was so nice and gave a great hand massage. But now that I can see what she did to my nails underneath the gel polish, I am furious. I literally paid $75 to be in pain and have ruined nail beds that will take months to grow back to normal.
