I can’t begin to describe how amazing my experience was here. My therapist, Mirna, was very kind and so welcoming. She made me feel comfortable throughout the entire experience! I really loved the package I experienced and cannot wait to come back here. I’d recommend this place to anyone and everyone who is looking for a place to relax! Can’t wait to come back!!

ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL at the Copperfield location! There was a customer and I outside wondering why the establishment was closed because there were still people inside getting massages. Whoever the pregnant Hispanic lady is that’s working the front desk is absolutely RUDE. We knocked on the window to see if anyone was near and she gave us the dirtiest look and put her hand up for us to wait. Excuse me!? I’m sorry but how the hell were we supposed to know that she needed more time to take a personal call? She then tells us that they closed at 530pm - which they didn’t - and that we needed to wait until she was done with her call. That’s fine because you NEVER know who you’re taking to. I was about to buy a massage package for my entire staff but I will happily take my money elsewhere! She ruined it. I understand if something is important on the line but why’d you have to lock the doors for that? Why couldn’t you be polite and say “can you give me one second”? Terrible customer service and especially post Covid when everyone can use as much business as they can get, I WILL NOT be spending my money here.

Best massage place I have been too in the area! I have been here about 4 or 5 times now. I love the tranquility package. The Vichy shower is wonderful after a relaxing massage! Today I had Alex and he did a wonderful job!! Highly recommend him. Cant wait for my next visit!!

Id like to start off by saying that this review is not towards any of the massage therapists. Ive been here many times and have had almost all great experiences. Although today was slightly different.There are flyers around the facility promoting their promotions. I attached the photo for reference. My wife and I came in and received one of the packages on the flyer. At the end when I went to pay, I was charged the regular price. I mentioned the promotion as one of the flyers was by the front desk and was told that it started on Monday 11/16. This was VERY misleading as the promotion does not state a start date only end dates of 11/30 and 12/31, so I was under the impression that it was a current promotion.I paid and gave no argument, but I dont feel like they should be promoting any specials without being clear with their promotion dates.

So update all three of us went into the spa for our appointment. It was AMAZING. Truly. Def have to do it again. I got the aqua package which consists of a jet filled bath, a full body massage and facial by Alvaro. It was sooo relaxing. I loved the multiple hot towels added on my face throughout the facial. The cold stones felt refreshing on my face. Even gave me a little lip balm at the end. Absolutely loved it! Will come back

I absolutely love Urban Day Spa. I called the day before and the friendly receptionist was very helpful in setting up my appointment (8/14/20) and one for my sister who was 9 months pregnant. She informed me it was not problem for my sister to get their Prenatal Massage (which she loved). When we arrived there were clear signs requiring everyone to wear a mask. We were greeted with a friendly face and asked to check in. Standard Questionnaire.We waited just a few moments for our therapists because we arrived early. The office was clean and smelled great. My therapist, Alvaro, was very helpful in figuring out where some of my tension spots were. I let him know my neck was a little tight, possibly from sleeping wrong. During my massage the room was cool and quiet, just what I needed on a hot Texas day. Alvaro did a great job in relieving the pain and stress on my neck. Not to mention he worked on my forearms and hands because I told him I work at a computer for 8 hrs a day. My one hour Classic Massage was perfect. He did a great job in making sure I was comfortable and relaxed. We will definitely be back!!!!

Massages are always great. They seem to always find kinks i didnt even know i had. They offer specials every now and then as well.

I had a stone massage and a facial today Alvaro was my masseuse. Ill let him know where my issue was, his applied pressure was perfect. I will ask for him again

I came here for a massage during Covid, and it was amazing.The atmosphere was very calm and very clean. The Customer service was so refreshing. I will definitely be returning as this is one of the only massage places that I feel safe in during this pandemic. Thank you guys for wonderful service and cleanliness.

Great massage as always wish they had heated blankets. But the quality and skill of my masseuses talent makes me be able to over look it. I always recommend a 90 min, if you can afford it. It takes 20-25 to really get relaxed. Going back for another 2hr massage.

Shout out to Rebecca! I got the 1hr deep tissue massage and she really worked out the kinks! By the time I got out I felt a 1000 lbs lighter and like I had a spiritual experience. ❤ Will def be making this a regular occurence.

Urban Day Spa is the best spa in all of Houston. My wife and I like everything about place. The environment is relaxing, the staff are professional and courteous, the prices are great and the massages always leave us felling so relaxed and at peace. As soon as I walk in the smell just relaxes me. We also sleep so deeply the night that we have a massage from Urban Day Spa.Recently our friend had a birthday and we bought her a gift card for an Essential package. The perfect gift of peace and serenity.

This spa just became my favorite spa of all times. The service was exceptional. I loved how professional my massage was handled. The manager was absolutely the best answering concerning questions. She was super nice and helpful. Best service compared to other spas. 100% recommended!

So so disappointed. If I could give a zero I would have..Worst experience ever..I phone to clarify if I could walk in and I was informed that it was okay. I got there after a long drive and was informed I couldn’t be served. After expressing that I had phoned earlier and I was informed I could walk in the lady at the reception told me she could work something out then informed me that I will be take care of in 15 minutes. When the therapist came and got me the was all wrong. When I asked to speak to the manager I was informed she doesn’t come in until later and they could not give me her number. For a place which is supposed to promote relaxation it’s promoting stress. Not worth it at all.

My appointment was at 10:30, so I got there at 10:15. No one was at the front desk and no one even came to the waiting area or desk after waiting til 10:50. The only reason someone finally came out was because I called the establishment, while Im standing inside of there....Then when I get to the massage table, the place where you put your face smelled like B.O., so I tell the masseuse, and he did nothing about it whatsoever. I also had surgery recently, so I indicated the areas that hurt the most and therefore Id like to be focused on, and areas to avoid because of the surgery, and he didnt listen or alter his method/execution in the slightest. I asked for an additional pillow for lumbar support since it hurts tremendously to lay on my stomach and he didnt accommodate that request either. The language barrier was definitely a huge problem, especially considering I paid $150 for the most terrible massage experience Ive ever had, and I have been going for massages >2x a month for about five years due to my injuries. I left in more pain than when I went in due to the fact that he didnt try to help me arrange the way I was laying for an hour so I could be comfortable and not in pain.Also, and one of the biggest issues was that several members of the staff were in the hall talking and laughing very loudly, microwaving their lunch and carrying on a conversation, or maybe even a convention, the entire hour of the massage. For a spa, thats supposed to be quiet and relaxing, this was completely unpleasant and unprofessional. When I brought up that the staff was kind of loud all the masseuse said was that they were getting ready for other clients. I was a CURRENT client so youd think wed accommodate the current client over people who werent there yet.I am not trying to be a picky person or complain about small things, but this experience was unacceptable considering the price and the fact that it was a gift from my husband to treat me to something special since I have been suffering from back pain for a while and it was my first massage since I had surgery.

When I first started coming I was seeing different therapists and they all were AMAZING! I finally got a massage from Alvaro and I was hooked. He’s simply the best and always takes the time to listen to my concerns and work the areas that I need worked out the most. After the massage he always gives me helpful hints or explains why my muscles are tense in some areas and not in others or what I can do to help alleviate my back and neck pain. I love this location and try to get in twice a month!

I called to make an Appt for my husband and I for our wedding anniversary and had it set for that upcoming weekend. When it came time for our appointment and we get there and said that they didn’t see anything for us. Even though they had my husband‘s name in the system and he has never been there!In my opinion they took my information but never actually set my appointment. It was already bad enough we couldn’t go on our vacation like we were suppose to, due to Covid it and all I wanted was to have a relaxing afternoon with my husband.What makes it worse. The front desk guy assured me he will have a manager call me and address the situation, because I was very upset. No one has reached out to me!! No has emailed me, nor called me even though I had prove that show that I called for an Appt. What kind of customer service is that?I work in customer service and this is unacceptable. You should make it right with your customers when your staff makes mistakes. I have given this spa much business in the past and I thought I would be respected enough to get my situation addressed and least get a phone call from a spa manager.Customer service is a huge thing for me and I refuse to give business to a place that doesn’t care about their customers. There are way too many spas in Houston that I can take my business too. Urban day spa officially has lost me as a customer. Me and everyone else I have referred this place to.

I had my first real professional massage and let me say Kara was the best! She got everything! I was so relaxed and felt rejuvenated afterwards. Shes very nice, friendly and professional. Her massage will make you melt on the bed. Shes thorough and helps relieve tension, knots, etc. and asks if you have a specific spot that needs worked on or that you would like. I highly recommend her! The spa itself is clean and the staff members are polite. Definitely recommend Urban Day Spa and Kara my massage therapist!* the prices are very reasonable; especially for how long the therapist takes with you, making sure youre refreshed and much more.

My masseuse, Alvaro, is perfect. I have never enjoyed the pressure of deep tissue massage. I found it much too painful. But Alvaro is able to adjust the pressure to release the tension and spasms of my muscles without leaving me feeling sore and bruised. He is always punctual, professional, and proficient in his work. Urban Day Spa is worlds above and beyond what other chains offer with location cleanliness, customer personalized attention and professional, friendly staff. The prices of services are extremely reasonable allowing me to receive the desired services at top notch without breaking the bank. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone!

It was a very good experience. I enjoyed my mother’s day spa package. I had the journey package and it was amazing. My experience was very relaxing, calming and peaceful. I was relaxed I went home and took a nap. I never take naps... I will definitely do this at least once a month. Everyone was really nice and attentive.

I lift weights and have to get deep tissue/sports massages every 2 weeks. I am from out of town, and decided to give this place a try because they had excellent reviews and the decent pricing. The receptionist somehow missed up booking me with a male instead of a female. And normally I would have rescheduled, but I was in pain and needed my routine massage. Aside from the mix up with my therapist the massage was amazing and exactly what I needed. Alvaro did a great job, and was extremely professional. If I lived here, I would definitely continue seeing him... He was that good!

I love going to Urbana Day Spa, because the best thing is, they have NO contracts!!! All of their masseuse are great, Ive been satisfied with other masseuse if the one I want to go to isnt available :) I like how he masseuse listens to what I write down, & discusses my needs prior to the massage. They do everything I request. Im always happy & satisfied once I leave Urban Day Spa. Ive only gone to the one in the Copperfield area.

Been here 4 times already, will be going back again. Everyone is polite, professional and respectful. The male masseuse are very perceptive and never make me feel uncomfortable. Same of course for the ladies. Everything is clean and fresh for each guest. Arrive 20 minutes early. Dont be on time or its considered late. Totally worth it.

Terrible massage it was supposed to be an deep tissue/sports massage, it turned out to a classic massage i specifically expressed a certain area of focus, out of an hr the therapist spent maybe 5 minutes in that area . This was the worst massage and money wasted ever, I wouldnt refer anyone to this place.

Mirna was excellent. She used the right amount of pressure and gave me a massage that was both relaxing and therapeutic to my sore back. My only complaint is that the room used was right next to the other establishment whose music was extremely loud so it kind of affected the mood.

Great friendly staff. I wish they had different, more spa friendly lotion like lavender.Only complaint is you can hear the convos and foot traffic to easy which in turns ruins the relaxation. Recommend adding something to botton of doors to help with that

I enjoy coming here I live in Richmond however I come to this location everyone is always nice booking online is simple and easy. The time they take to make sure I feel better is key to me. I don’t feel rushed and I get the pressure I need. I’m a deep tissue woman and the men there don’t make me feel uncomfortable or like a punching bag. I’ve gone here for years. Maybe not as much as I would like but I will try to make it more often.

I went in, for the first time, and got the best deep tissue massage by Kara. All the staff I interacted with was friendly and the place was clean. I would definitely go back again.

I have used this particular Day Spa for over a year now and I LOVE this place! Fantastic massage therapists, professional staff members and the place is extremely clean and smells awesome!! They always have specials that are affordable.

Was not satisfied with the technique of the technician and the Deep Tissue massage was only in one spot. I would not use that one tech again, she could barely communicate with me due to the language barrier.

My boyfriend surprised me with a Valentines massage. I was not greeted until 15 minutes later. I was asked if I needed to use the restroom before starting. I said yes. The lady told me to hurry up because she was busy and I was late. I told her that I had been in the lobby waiting and no one greeted me. She put one finger to her lips and motioned me to stop talking. I immediately walked out and phoned my boyfriend that I was catching a Lyft home. The desk clerk followed me and told me that they were super busy. Poor service. Do not go there

Juana and Giselle give a great deep tissue massage. My only con would be the language barrier between the two therapists I’ve used. Their English is ok but this did not affect their job. I can see how if someone needed to be more specific that it might be an issue; however the front desk stafff is helpful so I’m sure it would be an easy fix.

Everyone is professional and knowledgeable to help me solve a pain I might have. I’ve been coming here for 4 years and I love all the therapest I’ve had.

Booking was terrible. The way the receptionist worded the booking was confusing. I asked for an appointment longer than 1 hour and she said they don’t have an 80 minute (even though I never mentioned 80 min). Then said she has a 2 hr massage but she already booked me for a 1 hr. So I asked her about the availability for a 2 hr massage and she said “oh no we don’t have any 2 hr massages here”. Wait...what?!

The drain of the Vichy shower is clogged was so disgusting to walk out through the dirty water, plus there was a giant roache next to the vichy shower bed. Horrible experience.

My Husband and I got a wonderful massage tonight 12/29/17. I had Joanna and she got in there, I had a medium massage which is almost deep tissue. The Aroma Bubble was nice but I wish the water was more Hot. THE PETITE Facial was Excellent!!! those scented hot towels omg! Hmmmmm.. Im going to try the Louetta Location next because I live closer there but I WILL RETURN HERE TOO.. worth the drive. Ladies n Gents Im speaking myself, get Joanna..
