This place will STEAL your money. If you cancel they will keep charging you. Called to cancel and was hung up on. They have stolen my money for 8 months after canceling continue to charge me. Do not go here. The manager will not show face as well. Very unprofessional.

Love this place!!! Services are extremely beneficial with consistent use! I am very happy with the results!!! They provide everything from spray tanning to infrared heated saunas! The saunas have really helped relieve my arthritis as well as an overall body detox. I highly recommend this spa!! The staff is great!!! They are very informative and accommodating. :)

I really love this place, all the services are awesome! Rhiannon is so sweet and always super helpful. However I had my account on hold for a few months and just restarted it. They have an entirely new staff and no on was able to answer my questions. Its still a great place, Im hoping to see Rhiannon again or another friendly face. Ill update my review after this month.

First and foremost - go here and you will be supporting a truly good hearted business woman. I come here to use the massage chair mainly - I often get knots in my upper back and need to go somewhere right away (which you usually cant do with a masseuse). The last time I went in I was teary-eyed because one of my dogs was in ICU with a grim outlook (RIP sweet Peanut). Rhiannon was working this day and she was so very kind as she had just lost one of her cats. In such a fast paced and impersonal world, its refreshing to see a complete stranger be so kind. But if that doesnt get you in - know that the massage chair is great too!

I work next door at west u wellness and I come here every day on lunch or after work. I started coming at about 20 weeks pregnant and I’m now 35 weeks. The full body massage chair is my blessing!!! I have a hard time getting comfortable and sleeping at night.... after this chair I’ve been sleeping so much better!! They staff is GREAT, always so friendly and nice and answers any questions you have. I can’t wait to welcome my baby into the world and try all the other services they offer. Thank you planet beach for helping me through my pregnancy!!!! It also has a NEW management and staff who are great! They saw a problem they had with service and planet beach fixed it so don’t bash them for previous employment.

Just called this Business to find out more information about “ Red Light Therapy” to see if I was interested in doing business/purchasing/taking a tour/etc..As a new customer I didn’t find enough info on their website so I called & spoke to Megan who not only could not answer my questions (they weren’t very hard) but, actually began an argument with me “ that she was answering my questions”!!She further was most disagreeable about prices & didn’t want to discuss over the phone.I asked to speak to a Mgr or someone else & was she is the Mgr....Lol.. Didn’t believe her & her adversarial nature was so disappointing to a potentially new client.Obviously this place does not need my business..

The new staff has completely turned this location around! Theyre always open on time and stay open, the store is always clean, and always friendly! great job on the turn around!

Let me start by saying that this 5 star review is about the NEW management at Planet Beach Rice. They have gone above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of. The owner and Ted get 5 stars from me, after my recent experience with them, hands down. Long story short, previous management did not refund me for a YEAR, after I was incorrectly charged multiple times. When I explained everything to him, Ted took me at my word and handled the matter immediately. Not only did he refund my money, but he did it in a way that made it easier on me and even paid for my gas to come in to the spa to receive my refund. I cannot recommend this spa highly enough after today. The spa itself was already great because of how much you can do under one roof, but now its under fantastic management as well.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!Bought a tanning membership for a year. The unreliability of the staff and business is a disaster. I have been there many times this year with the business closed. No message on answering machine explaining why they are closed and many times with no message on the front door. I have requested several times to speak with the owner but no response. Today the store posted opening at Noon. Door was left unlocked overnight. Another customer called the manager at 12:15 and said she wouldnt be there for another hour. Seriously? Better customer service at Walmart. I hope they learn how to run a business before they close for good. Sad when you pay for a membership, drive over there and find them closed, what a waste of time, gas and lotion.

Love this Spa! There is so much offered here. Its a 1 stop Spa for all your health and wellness needs. It is a place you should definitely come try out.

UPDATE: They removed the charges from my credit report after I disputed it, I changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars. Thanks for the correction..................BE AWARE: THEY WILL KEEP CHARGING YOU FOREVER.I had a membership with this location years ago (2013-2014). I fulfilled my membership agreement and then decided to cancel it. I cancelled it in person, at this store. I remember having a problem shortly after that, I think they kept charging me, and I either told my credit card to block their charges or I changed my credit card number, either way, I just found out on my credit report a pending Collection from them for almost $2,000 that I had no idea about. I started a dispute on Experian. If they correct it, I will update this review. If not, I will do everything in my power to hurt their reputation even more and perhaps even sue them for damaging my credit score. And I know I can find a picture of my membership cancellation notice, its buried in my laptop somewhere.

I have been a member for about a year and a half now and since i joined everything has improved. They have added new services and are continuing to add new services to keep up with their growing client base and they have taken care or their previous customer services issues and are now very attentive and welcoming. I also love how all of the consultants are very knowledgeable on all of the products, even the ones that arent currently in the store. This place is awesome!!

I LOVE the FIT Body Wrap!! I could see results in 2 sessions. I stopped because of the expense but I realized since I have a slow metabolism and thyroid this was just what I needed to keep my metabolism up. I stopped and the weight crept back on. I am sold on this!! They are willing to deal with you too. Their prices are the best around.

I almost closed my account of 7-8yrs bc it seemed like everytime I went they were unexpectedly closed... after 5 times of wasting my time with that I stopped going completely. Today I decided to give it another chance with full intentions of closing my account if they were closed....I am so happy to say they were not closed, and are actually now under new management!! I did my usual hydration station and tried the new red light therapy bed....I am in love with this place again!! ....and to find out they also have a place in memorial city by my work, extra plus! Thanks Rhiannon for restoring my negative thoughts on this place today!

The place itself is okay Ive been a member for many years and continue to love that indoor tanning experience. But it is extremely frustrating that they are never open when the sign says they are. Although it says open 9 on Monday through Friday I get there at 10 and it is still closed and two other people are outside waiting its happened unbelievably so many times. After waiting for 30 minutes I just leave, its very disrespectful for them to treat their customers this way. They need to either change the opening hours or have their employees actually come on time because we have busy schedules and it doesnt make sense for us to go all the way there just to see that its closed. Advice to all of you guys just call before you go to this location make sure they really are open.

The groupon is a scam. No spray tan allowed unless you want to pay half price the first time, then full price. I bought the groupon for 9 services, spray tan was my main reason for buying.Creams and serums required for most services, serum is $30 a pop.My groupon was for 9 services, I tried out 3 since they were charging for tanning, employee marked all 9 services as redeemed.Robes are flimsy. Clothes buckets are raggedy. No slippers, or anything for your feet. Hard to tell who actually works there, employees chatting and hanging out.Red light facial didnt do anything. Massage chair made me feel frustrated & like I want to go get a real massage. Hydrating pod made me feel like my nips were burning.I could go on. I wanted to like this place but it sucks.

I used to really like this place back when it was under the old management. Now... its a whole other story. I ordered lotion when I signed up, didnt receive it for two months! And the only reason I got it when I did was because I ask about it. They were supposed to call me when it arrived, never got a call. On top of that I didnt even get the lotion that I had asked for they gave me one they said was better because it took so long. They are also open very weird hours I would say.

I love the Hotworks, Body hydration and massage are my favorites. Got a groupon from my fiance since he knew I was under a lot of stress. Kade was very friendly and has an awesome personality my first visit. My second visit with Rhiannon was great too! She got me in with a special. Even though the services they offer are automated, their encouraging personalities make it worth going. I never would have thought I would love an automated spa but feeling afterwards is amazing.

Id give zero stars if I could. The person who said better customer service at Walmart was telling the truth.Pros- I actually liked the spa, the equipment, and the ladies who worked there seemed nice to begin with. So long as your a paying customer and happy they are fine with you.Cons- The second you want to quit or cancel your membership everything goes to hell. They tell you that you are required to pay 2 months worth of service before canceling. Who does this? Its 2018!! When you pay something monthly you can typically cancel it and its done. I have NEVER EVER EVER been asked by any company to keep making payments when I am done with the service and no longer want to participate. IT FEELS LIKE FINANCIAL RAPE. YOU CANT ESCAPE. If you change your card number they call Visa or Master Card or whoever your company is and get your new account information and continue to charge you. NO MEANS NO PLANET BEACH. I DO NOT WANT YOUR SERVICES OR TO PAY FOR A SERVICE I AM NOT USING.They are not open to negotiating on this policy at all. Its a horrible way to treat a customer. If they had LET ME GO when I wanted to go they wouldnt be getting a 1 star review. Ive asked to speak to the managers, the owner, and Ive been told all they can do is put me on a freeze where you STILL PAY FOR A SERVICE YOU DONT USE or pay the 2 MONTHS OF FEES for a service I dont use. I think this is insane and a horrible way to treat a paying customer who previous to this incident enjoyed your business and services.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PLANT BEACH TO ANYONE.

PLEASE DONT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! Got a groupon here for $29 as a gift from my wonderful SO. When I went, they charged me an additional $25 for the facial part of the package. Might as well have bought another entire groupon. The wait is always unbearable and they say they are booked for weeks in advance. Didnt know EVERY woman in Houston had appointments... Anyway, super over priced, unfair and manipulative business tactics and the machines were super dirty. Pretty sure if you ever use that steam bed, lots of people have nakedly sweat and youre just soaking up their bodily fluids.

Blonde girl was very very aggressive in selling. They had tricked me into selling me sample packs that they ended up throwing out.Blonde girl was terrible.I asked to use some body lotion and th3 first thing out of her mouth was .. have you thought of buying
